I was disappointed with my experience…
I was disappointed with my experience at Perfumania. I asked one of the sales associates if I could see another perfume, and her response was, “The one you want to see is more expensive,” as if the price would be a problem for us.
We came in ready to buy whichever perfume we liked, regardless of the price. There were two employees working, and unfortunately, their attitude made us feel judged based on our appearance. Customers should be treated with the same respect whether they are buying a $50 perfume or a $500 perfume.
I hope the store works on making every customer feel welcome and respected. You should never assume what someone can or cannot afford based on how they look.
