Once again, I find myself writing a bad review for 'Perfect pet insurance'. Following disgraceful lack of communication regarding my claim, with me chasing it on multiple occasions to no avail, I was eventually told they wouldn't pay out for my cats eye surgery.
This response was only given as I stated I would not be renewing when the new years quote came through, due to not hearing from them.
I was told via email that they would cancel the upcoming renewal and sent a patronising email to explain what this would mean should my cat become ill (I refrained from replying that I would pay out and not get anything in return as has been my experience with them).
Today I have received an email and text telling me I am in arrears as the payment for my cats policy is over due. This would be because I didn't trust the cancellation would be processed and I cancelled my direct debit, which I made perfect pet well aware of. Today's messages have proved me right and they would have continued taking my money with zero intentions of paying out if they can get away with it.
Funny how they can communicate with customers when they want money but not the other way round.
I am beyond fed up with dealing with Perfect pet and will under no circumstances use them or recommend them to others.
Regardless, I will always provide my cat with the veterinary care he needs. Others may not be able to without insurance.

James was really helpful. He listened to the issue I had and followed it through. He came back to me with an alternative that was acceptable. We had a good call and he managed it well.

Perfect Pet has a team of compassionate caring and extremely supportive and helpful members. Claims are processed with care. The level of understanding and always ready to assist is outstanding. I have spoken to Ellie, Paige and Robyn and all are always helpful all the time .
