A very bad shopping experience with a totally negative outcome
Unfortunately a terrible experience with Perfect Corset NYC! I bought 3 corsets from them: I returned them at my own expense because they were too big (they offer very expensive returns!). The package appears to have been delivered but they deny having received it. I will never buy from them again. A truly unreliable company. The only positive thing is that at least they respond to support emails.
Perfect Corset NYC Terrible Shipping & Nonexistent Customer Service
I had a terrible experience with Perfect Corset NYC’s shipping and customer service. They use an unreliable shipping company, and the tracking provided didn’t even work. I had to email them just to get a random link to track my order, which was a hassle on its own.
To make matters worse, my package was shipped to the completely wrong address. When I reached out to Perfect Corset for help, they didn’t even bother responding. This entire process has been frustrating and unprofessional.
If you’re considering ordering from them, beware—you might not even receive your package, and don’t expect any support if something goes wrong. I would not recommend shopping here until they fix their shipping process and start responding to customers.

The only bad thing i experienced with them was that on their site, the shipping time to my country its 15 days and the corset arrived at the 22nd day, after i mailed them.
More precisely, i didn’t recieve a tracking number after 2 weeks, and they said that the corset is out of stock. I argued with them that they should’ve put on the site its “out of stock”, not letting me ordering it.
But the wait was worth it!

Horrible customer service. No phone number, everything done by email. Totally dysfunctional. I requested a return within the specified timeline, they are trying to delay or deny my return for an unused unopened item, and ask me to purchase something else. I want no products from this company. I want my refund and I want assurance that if I send the item back I will get my money back.

Absolutely terrible. Tried avoiding providing me with a refund as promised by online policy. Not manufactured in the U.S. (as the name suggests), but in a China warehouse on a road corner. Strongly tried to hide this from me after I requested a return address for a refund numerous times, instead tried offering more discounts and deals (I assume to push out the 2-week return policy so they could deny me a refund). This was coupled with lack of response to many of my emails. Eventually gave me the address and advised I would have to return to China, instructed me to lie on customs declaration about the value of goods (a federal offence), then refused to accept the customs delivery, meaning the item racked up delayed customs fees (sat in customs for 1 month). They then made me pay these fees in order to get my refund. Also refused to tell me their business number despite numerous requests. Products are low quality, corset 'ties' are literally string I would buy from a supermarket. You would be better off buying corset for $8.53 on eBay (they likely come from the same place and would save you the exorbitant $200+ cost). Would recommend avoiding this business at all costs - they are certainly not the sophisticated U.S.-based apparel line they appear to be on Instagram.

When i read the reviews, i immediately wanted to cancel my order, because everybody gave the advice „Don t buy from this shop!“ Canceling was not possible, because i did not receave the product yet. The company answered quickly! But then i got it and i was surprised! It is much more beautiful than i expected. The colour more beautiful… nude but like suntan… and the quality is absolutely worth it! I do not regret having payed 65 Euro. I canceld the return and am very happy about the product. It is true, that it takes a long time until you get it … but you will be happy after ! It is absolutely not a cheap product, you can tell also by the weight! I dont know about the other experiences, but mine was Perfect!

I know this to be a fact because the fan lace design that they advertise, yet is never in stock, actually belongs to a designer that I know. She's had several issues with this company trying to steal her designs.

However, the package delivery failed because the customer refused to accept the package. Regarding the original package, the customer contacted us on August 21 to say that the package was out of service. We contacted the logistics company at that time and were investigating the matter. If the package is out of service for a long time for 14 days, we will resend the package to the customer free of charge. At that time, it was not more than 14 days. We reported the long-term package incident to the logistics company. However, we have not received a reply from the logistics company. The customer contacted us again on August 30, and we found that the logistics company still had no progress in the investigation. Then we directly resent the package to the customer. We did not receive the customer's statement that the package was not needed at that time. If the customer needs a refund, he can accept the resent package first and then return the package to us instead of refusing the package. According to our return and exchange policy, if the customer refuses to accept the package, resulting in the failure of the package delivery, we cannot refund the customer. However, the buyer did not contact us to file a dispute, and we believe that the customer is trying to use the bank's consumer protection policy to make a malicious refund. They sent me an extremely poor quality top passing as a corset. There is no boning in this item made of low quality material. It wasn’t worth the $77 I paid. I didn’t even try it on, and immediately on delivery, I requested a return address as per their 14 day policy. When I didn’t get a response, I filed a case with PayPal to enable me return the item on item. Sure enough, that got them to send me an email; see below verbatim:
“Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent return and refund request. After reviewing your case and considering the condition of the product you want to return, we have decided to process your refund.
Due to the relocation of our U.S. warehouse, we are unable to handle returns this month. As a result, we would like to request that you return the items to our factory in China at your own expense.

You can return the items by yourself. Please return the package as a gift or declare a value not exceeding $5 , please be aware that you will be responsible for any taxes and shipping fee incurred during transit. Perfect Corset will not cover these expenses.
If you love our corsets and want to avoid return shipping charges, you can choose to keep the corset and we will refund 30% of your payment.

PayPal closed my case in their favor, enabling these scammers to continue their scams. They are not US based. They advertise heavily on social media and give the illusion that they are, and that they’re reputable. The truth is that they are a scam organization in China defrauding people with their cheap products. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

The worse customer service I've had.
I live in Vancouver, BC and I could not find anything similar to their corsets from a local shop, and I get their ads every single day, so when I finally had a little extra to spare I bought one of their corsets during a sale.
First I sent some questions to their Instagram asking which style would be best to fit under clothes, but no one answered me for days, so I went ahead and bought based on the website description, scared the sale would end before they replied.
When I finally got it, I realized that style did not have the back padding, so I couldn't wear it under my clothes. Without the padding, the strings press against the skin on your back and it's incredibly uncomfortable. So I reached out to try and exchange it for the correct style that would be best for wearing under clothes, which their social media team suggested a few days after I made the purchase.
They said I could return it, wait for it to arrive to get the refund, and buy the correct one. Or I could pay $29USD extra, to get the new model and keep the first one. I accepted it because returning would take too long and I just wanted to wear the dang thing...
After waiting another couple weeks I received the new package and... they sent me the wrong corset. They sent me one with a bra. The cups were huge, and there was no way I could wear it... I reached out with photos explaining they sent the wrong one, and asking if they could send the correct one. Keep in mind every time I reached out it took days for them to respond, this entire process took MONTHS!
I spent a couple of weeks exchanging messages with them on their website chat, trying to get concrete answers to my questions, I would send one question and they would reply days later with something unrelated to what I asked. It was a nightmare. Finally, someone replied to me by email with more coherent answers, and finally responded that I would have to return the wrong one first before they could send the correct one, and gave me a return address.
I tried, I went to Canada Post, and they gave me this huge form to fill out for duties, and said that if it's wrong it could get stuck in customs etc. It would cost me $ 47 CAD to ship back, which the brand said they would refund after the entire process was over... I was scared, what if it got stuck in customs? I'd lose even more money... I never did this before, and it was their mistake to begin with... I asked for help, asked for a return label, and they said they couldn't do anything to help ship it back and that the best they could do would be a partial refund if I wanted to keep the wrong item instead of returning it.
I ended up accepting it because this has been going on for MONTHS and I just wanted to get this over with... now I'm stuck with two corsets I won't wear, which cost me a lot of money... I feel ripped off and they just acted like my experience did not matter AT ALL. :/

I wish I’d read reviews earlier. Terrible service and lie on return policy vs what they send in the email. I feel like someone runs business from outside of country as answers come out n the middle of the night US time. I can’t even say anything about the product as I do don’t even try it. The package came late and I needed to return. Fighting for a week to get address and steps to return, no luck, they keep offering exchange for fee, not even reading my email properly. I tried email and Instagram. Will credit card, my next step.

Firstly, this is a total doggy company who claimed themselves NYC based - there is no company registration information on their website nor on US company registration record.
Secondly, they charged a very high delivery fee for one item, and told me free return. But sadly the corset I bought was in wrong size (suggested by their costumer service team) so I requested refund. They started their nasty bullying, see below their email:
'We are happy to offer an exchange for the correct size or a different style with a nominal exchange fee of $39.99.
If you do not wish to exchange, we can offer a 20% refund or a $20 store credit, both without requiring the return of the original product.'
They refused to let me return the item!! Unbelievable. Shameless.

I was a little scared after seeing the reviews and low rating but I received my order very quickly and the customer service people were very professional and prompt. The quality of what I received is wonderful and as advertised! I think maybe people with bad experiences may have been tricked by some other company with a fake site/similar name. I ordered two different items and nothing odd happened with my order.
