SCAM

SCAM - PLACED IN LIQUIDATION - AVOID!

After placing an order for a Cybex car seat a month ago, I could not reach Peppermint to get news from my order. They don't answer to emails or phone calls but the website is still opened and you can still place an order online and make a payment.

I've just received an email from a business recovery specialist company notifying me that Peppermint has now ceased trading. They won't deliver the items ordered by customers and they won't refund them. We, the customers are considered as creditors.

Contact your bank and open a fraud claim to get a refund.
Contact the suppliers too to let know what's going on and get a commercial gesture.

Company went bust owing us £600+ worth of goods

Ordered pram / travel system worworth £630 at the Baby Show in London in Oct. Agreed delivery in March as baby not due till then. They had one of the biggest stands there! Received email from s creditor yesterday day saying that the business has gone into liquidation and that I won't get either goods or money back. I am absolutely distraught as we're now 8(!!!) days over the Visa time frame of 120 days after transaction to be able to make a claim to get the money back.

I spent £850 on a Cybex travel system purchased at the Babyshow in November. They assured me I would have it by the end of December. So far I’ve only received the car seat after calling customer service every day for a week in January. They still owe me £750 worth of items from my order.

It looks like I’m not the only person they have done this to. They have taken a lot of people’s money with no intention of delivering which is fundamentally theft!

Surly there is a possibility for some sort of class action for the stolen money and stress caused at what should be one of the happiest moments of your life.

Forgot being understanding, this company needs to be put out of business so they can’t do it to anyone else.

Irresponsible business - likely administration

I think they’ve gone into administration. Buy stuff from here at your peril. After 2 months of trying to get our nursery furniture for out baby that is due in two weeks we’ve had to get American Express to get our money back for us. They’re a selfish & irresponsible business who obviously have no idea the stress they put their customers under who are most likely soon to have a baby.

It's a scam! You pay for order and never see it

They warned that the order might take up to 5 weaks to deliver so accepted it. However, as 5 weeks almost passed they don't bother to reply to emails or phone calls. Their voicemail is full. Stores don't pick up either. And they actually closed down one of the stores.
Is it a scam? They just collected orders and disappeared?

Lucky to get 1 star

Lucky to get 1 star. Total disaster. Non-existent customer service. If you expect a response to emails and phone call forget it. Please avoid at all costs if you don’t want the stress, time wasting and additional cost.

PEPPERMINT HAS STOLEN ME!!!

Last November my wife and me attended a baby show in Excel, London. There was a space of Peppermint where we bought a baby carrier for £120 for our future baby who is expected in the next two weeks. They promised a 2 weeks delivery.

After 3 months of calls, emails and visits to the shops in London, the stores say they are not responsible for our purchase and ask us for contacting directly with the costumer services, who does not pick up the phone and do not reply to our emails.

INCREDIBLE BUT TRUE. WE HAVE BEEN STOLEN IN BABY SHOW AND SEEMS THAT THERE IS NOTHING WE CANT DO ABOUT IT!

DO NOT USE THEM!!

Ordered a Cybex Pram in Oct 2018. It's now Feb 2019, baby arrived last week and no pram in sight. They have ignored every email and phone call. Must of called 20-50 times a day with no answer. On the 2 occasions I got a answer, I was told the items were on the way within a week. Clearly all lies. I have now been banned from posting on their FB page - very convenient. Many people have had the same issue. I am now in the process of pushing a section 75 from my card company to get the money back. Funny enough the car seat and base arrived today....but no sign of the pram, cot and seat....no answer to calls today or email reply. DO NOT USE THEM - THE BABY SHOW NEED TO BAN THEM.

AVOID AVOID AVOID . . THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY HAS GONE BANKRUPT ! .They took over £1300 from us at baby show in October, have never received anything. They promise and lie lie lie ... 3 1/2 months later barclaycard got involved, gave us our money back and are now in dispute with peppermint ..... managed to get pram etc in shop in sevenoaks Kent. They're still taking peoples money even though they have gone under .... its totally DISGUSTING !

I’ve found out that this company is going bankrupt

I’ve found out that this company is going bankrupt. They owe their creditors money. I’m still waiting for a car seat which was ordered a long time ago. Over the last two weeks I’ve called all the different departments and shops and no one is answering or returning messages and emails. I’m going to call the manufacturers to see if they can do something so I can get my product.

Avoid this company at the Baby Shows!

Avoid this company at the Baby Shows!! They never deliver to you. I have warned the organisers. Ordered a chair from them and it's never arrived. Initially customer service was good but since then I've had radio silence.

Worst customer service ever! Bought a pram at a baby show from them in November. Still haven't received anything. I am due in 2 weeks and I can't reach their customer service on the phone and nobody is answering my emails.
I'm going to have to report fraud on my credit card as it doesn't seem like I'll ever get my pram.
To expose them on feefo contact feefo including the email address used to make the purchase, your order number and the date that you made your purchase. They’ll then confirm with peppermint that the transaction was real and send out a review request on their behalf.

THE WORST customer service

THE WORST customer service. After weeks and weeks of chasing, I finally received my order and part of it was missing. Once my order is complete, I will not be ordering from them ever again!

Customer Service terrible

Rip off and no refund

Bought and paid in full just under £1000 for a pram system, delivery date arranged but never arrived been trying to rearrange a new date for nearly 2 weeks with no luck. Cancelled the order instead and now struggling for a refund to be processed to allow me to go else where and purchase another pram before my due date (4 weeks time). Never ever shop here! Advise everyone you know to avoid.

Unprofessional service

I bought a pram at the Peppermint baby show stand in October, when they assured me it would be delivered fist days of January. I've been calling them every day for two weeks and nobody answered or replied to my emails. When they finally answered, the only solution was to go to the shop in person to get a pram of a different color with some missing parts they're (hopefully) going to deliver in the next months. It cost me an afternoon of travel to reach the shop and no kind of compensation has been offered.

It has been definitely one of the worst and unprofessional service I ever encountered, I suggest you to buy your baby items somewhere else.

Avoid - you don't need the stress

Still awaiting the final parts of our order. Customer service is terrible. I would seriously avoid these people. Whilst the in store experience (in Chiswick) was good, there's no chance I could recommend buying from them. It takes too long, they don't care and it isn't the stress you need. I have calling literally hours trying to get through - no reply. Tells you what you need to know.

Take your money but don’t send products - AVOID!

I ordered a pram from here a couple of months ago with reassurances it would arrive before my due date. However baby is due this week and there is no sign of the pram or any update. Nobody ever answers the phone and multiple emails have gone unanswered. They have taken my money but I have no way to contact them for a refund so I can buy the pram from elsewhere. No idea how I will cope without a pram.

Baby show shambles. No delivery!

Ordered a Cybex car seat at the baby show, was assured delivery would be well in time for birth of our baby.
Yet here we are, almost due date, no seat, and ever-extended "expected delivery"

Seeing the other reviews of similar nature on here, I've requested a cancellation. If that doesn't materialise, it'll be a chargeback, fortunately I paid on credit card.

Avoid at all costs!

Awful company

Awful company. Sold us the dream buggy at the Excel London show. Couldn't have been nicer! Sent us confirmation emails from 4 other customers containing their personal details which is breach of GDPR. When it came time for our buggy to be delivered they dispatched the wrong one. Customer service is dreadful, we have cancelled and now must wait 12 days until we can get our refund!! Dont bother with them.
