A few things I pointed out on the car were not sorted as promised, namely some lose arch trim and tired looking number plates which I have sorted myself. However the car I bought has been a lot o... See more

Excellent- very happy with the customer service and my car

I was ready to proceed with a purchase and pay the full asking price for a new vehicle advertised on AutoTrader. Yesterday I was told delivery could be arranged (at my expense), only to be told today that delivery is not possible at all.
For a national dealership group that advertises “nationwide delivery” on its website, this is extremely disappointing. The explanation given was that they are short staffed and have a large showroom, which is hardly the customer’s problem.
The whole experience has been a waste of time and the service has been poor from start to finish. I only wish I had checked their Trustpilot reviews before engaging with them in the first place.
The salespersons name was Liam Lloyd. I offered to arrange my own transport and he didn't even respond. Pentagon have responded to the review and offered to assist but provided no contact details.

Buying from this business 12 months ago a Vauxhall Corsa for £10,000. They threw in extended warranty, thought i had a good deal. 12 months on engine light lighting up on dash. Took it back, wanted to charge me over £1000 for repair. Conversed with leadership at this place only to be re-buffed. Extended warranty not worth paper it's written on. I picked my car up as can't afford repair, only to be charged £155 for machine analysis. Am disgusted to be treated this way! No Good Will, nothing. AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

My mother and I purchased a vauxhall corsa 21 plate from vauxhall Burton on trent in July of last year and we've had nothing but PROBLEMS ever since. We sourced the car through female friendly finance and financed the car through Moneybarn.
We've taken the car in for brake, speedometer and DAB radio issues already. We then had a warning light about the vehicle needing oil and come to find out after spending £70 on oil We didn't need it. Bare in mind we've only had the car not even 6 months.
Fast forward NOW, 9 January 2026 whilst driving SEVERAL warning lights lit up the dashboard: ABS BRAKING SYSTEM FAULT REPAIR NEEDED, HILL START SYSTEM FAULT, COLLISION DETECTION RISK SYSTEM FAULT, ESP/ASR SYSTEM FAULT REPAIR NEEDED. Due to the persistent amount of problems with this car we've now raised complaints with Moneybarn and Female Friendly Finance, quoting the consumer rights act. We also raised a complaint with the pentagon group but NOBODY has contacted us to resolve. These faults are a clear hazard to not only us but to other drivers on the road as well. We found a service receipt in the vehicle after purchase and noticed that the engine in this car has been replaced and we have repeatedly asked why and get fobbed off and told they do not have to disclose which in fact they do. Also, I have a 5 year old grandchild and if something happens to her whilst driving the hazard of a car your company will be sued
Basically, we do not want this car anymore because its faulty!!!! Someone and I dont care who but someone from pentagon needs to respond to this review with the best contact number or my lawyers will be contacted and also the Motor Ombudsman

Drove from Derby to Pentagon Loughborough to look at the Chery. My husband requested a quote by phone after discussing it, didn’t receive it, so called spoke to Adam again, who assured us we’d get the quote that by 6pm…. Still waiting… 5 days later… pretty poor hat you can’t even get a quote… that’s 10 days!

Really helpful staff. Harry was very pleasant, did not feel pressured. Car ready for test drive even though we got there early. Happy with the deal we got, although the invoice listing was very confusing and price presented was with lots of extras added on that was not wanted and some confusion over VAT. Harry redid invoice to reflect actual purchase. Overall happy with service.

Pentagon replaced our Astra wing after a minor bump. Superb workmanship and attention to detail and constant updates on progress. This wasn't a straightforward repair due to Sainsbury's Insurance and Axa the underwriters unable to agree on the level of excess to apply. This delayed the repair by 3 months but at all times Sarah at Pentagon was very helpful and supportive in helping us to resolve this issue. (The issue was finally sorted after the involvement of our MP Catherine Atkinson.)
Can definitely recommend Pentagon THANKS.

I purchased a Renault Captur Hybrid from Pentagon in August 2025. Since purchase, the vehicle has had multiple faults.
Most seriously, the car has now suffered a complete engine/electrical failure and broke down, leaving me without a vehicle. I am currently several days without a car and still awaiting meaningful support or a response from Pentagon despite submitting a formal written complaint.
The vehicle was sold with a warranty arranged through Pentagon, yet I am now caught between RAC and Assurant, each giving conflicting information about hire car cover. I paid £899 for this warranty and have still been left without transport. This issue appears to be between Pentagon’s chosen warranty providers, but the impact has been entirely on me.
I am a carer for my mother, who has dementia, and being left without a car is causing significant practical difficulty. I appreciate faults can occur, but the lack of communication, ownership, and urgency from Pentagon has been extremely disappointing.
Given the number and seriousness of issues within six months of purchase, I have lost trust in the vehicle and in the support provided by Pentagon. I am still awaiting contact to resolve this matter.

At 10am this morning I contacted Pentagon Warrington to speak to used car sales. After I left my number I was told I would get a call back straight away, at 11.20am I rang again and I spoke with Phil who again said someone would call me back at 12.10 the new sales manager of BYD rang me back and said I would need to speak with the used car sales team and guess what…someone will call me straight back. 3 hours so far (now 13:00hrs) and I’ve not had a chance to speak about buying the car I wanted. Not to worry because I’ve found the same model elsewhere, spoke with someone straightaway and I’m now booked in for a test drive, all being well I will buy it later today. If I’m having this much trouble trying to buy a car imagine how hard it must be to get an issue looked at? After reading other poor reviews from Pentagon Warrington it looks like promises to improve were just words. Next stop is to complain to BYD about one of their dealers.

Booked my car for service 2 times now everytime its been cancelled this place is nothing but a joke if you ask me should be shout down. Wanted to charge big money but provide poor service
Fantastic service. After battling through the IVR and finally reaching a cheerful-sounding chap, he promptly hung up the moment I mentioned I was looking to buy a new car.
The second attempt was even better. I somehow ended up in the body shop, where they helpfully transferred me… to the local takeaway. Sadly, they were closed, so I had to leave a message.

Really can’t Thank Sarah Woolley, of Pentagon Derby, enough. From the first to the last call, there were many, she went above and beyond to help. The whole process with Pentagon was seamless. The work carried out to my car was excellent so a big Thanks to the team involved. The repair was completed well before the estimated date but the collection of the car was unbelievably long and complicated but Thanks to Sarah’s help it was eventually sorted.Would highly recommend Penatgon.

I have been looking to buy a used car from Pentagon from the very first point of contact which did take 24hrs for a return phone call which then I was discussing a price with the salesman who said he would call back after speaking to his manager but never did. So with out an appointment we drove 88 miles to view the car, when we arrived there were about 4 people in the showroom who ignored us so we had to go in a little office to get someones attention then he told us the car wasn't avaliable for viewing as it was in a compound so we drove home. In the week I contacted again for a test drive and was told the salesman would call me again about a price but never received the return call. So today Friday I tried to call again through the main number through to used car sales twice but just went blank so I've just sent a message to cancel the test drive because I have no trust in thus company.

Absolutely awful experience with Pentagon Ford Warrington. My father has a ford focus on PCP that came to the end of its deal in mid December. He has been trying to contact pentagon Ford in Warrington (as have I) since the beginning of December to arrange for it to be returned. He had surgery in December and has been advised not to drive and has now made the decision not to continue driving at all now. Never has he or I experienced such awful treatment by an organisation. Countless phone calls to the pentagon ford are never answered and when leaving a voicemail (multiple times) they are never returned. Spoke to ford customer relations who logged a complaint but because it's PCP they can't deal with it. They also couldn't get through on the phone so suggested I contact pentagon ford Warringtons live chat. So I did and it was extremely unprofessional as it wasn't sales related they took the details and said they would telephone. Guess what they didn't!
Now having to drive my dad to a dealer (as he can't drive) to get them to treat an elderly, vulnerable person fairly and actually speak to him.
I was thinking about the new ford explorer for myself but absolutely will never touch ford (or pentagon who have trashed fords brand in my eyes) ever.
UPDATE 30/12/2025
Thank you for the reply, I just tried to contact you on 03303906898 however the agent said no complaint has been raised so to email customer.care which has now been done. In addition my father has just been called back by Dave Kelly and arranged for the car to picked up tomorrow so hopefully that should bring this experience to a close.

I am never using Peugeot Pentagon again esp Lincoln branch. We bought our 3008 from them a few years ago and it’s had a myriad of problem’s they have had a lot of money from us and yet we continue with issues
Also tried to book online for a diagnosis check and was given 24th Dec as available couldn’t ring garage as it was a Saturday afternoon and shut so was pleased car could be looked at before Christmas as a spanner red warning light had come on but received a text this morning confirming appointment 3rd feb! When I rang to query was told online booking service is not linked to local garage properly yet I could choose garage make booking and get an email confirmation after I did it. Turns out the garage isn’t even open that day! So they moved my appointment to bloody February!
Stay well away from Pentagon both sales and repairs my car was with them in October for similar issues
Will be looking elsewhere

I recently made a complaint to Pentagon Lincoln regarding a vehicle service. My complaint was dealt with swiftly. Lucy was calm professional and considerate and the way she dealt with my complaint was exemplary, in just the way you would want to be treated. She is a beacon of hope in times where complaints and disputes are often ignored. She has restored my trust in Pentagon Group. My request in order to compensate this problem was honoured.

A systemic failure from top to bottom — senior management should be deeply concerned. If I could give 0 stars I would
My experience with Pentagon Ford Warrington was so poor that it raises serious questions about leadership, training, and oversight at this site. This was not a one-off mistake or a bad day — it was a sustained pattern of incompetence, miscommunication, and complete disregard for the customer.
From the outset, communication was non-existent or misleading. Calls and messages were ignored, follow-ups promised and then quietly dropped, and basic information contradicted depending on who you spoke to. There was no single point of accountability, no ownership of issues, and no sense that anyone was actually in control of the process.
What is most alarming is how normalised this behaviour appears to be. Staff seemed comfortable giving vague or conflicting answers, passing responsibility elsewhere, and letting problems drift indefinitely. When issues were raised, there was no urgency, no apology, and absolutely no attempt to put things right. The attitude was unmistakable: once payment is involved, the customer becomes an inconvenience.
At no point did anyone step in to take responsibility or demonstrate even a baseline level of professionalism. The experience felt chaotic, unmanaged, and careless — as though internal standards either do not exist or are simply ignored. If this is what customers see, I can only imagine what internal processes look like.
This review is written in the hope that someone higher up the organisation sees it and recognises that Pentagon Ford Warrington has a serious problem. The failures here are not minor; they are structural. This dealership reflects extremely poorly on the Pentagon brand and, by extension, Ford itself.
I will not return under any circumstances and would strongly advise others to avoid this location entirely. Senior management should be asking hard questions, because this level of dysfunction should never reach a customer — yet here it clearly has.
