I am extremely happy with the work that Pension Exchange (PX) have carried out on my behalf.

My advisor took the time to fully understand my personal circumstances and from their review of my existing pensions to the implementation of their recommendations, I have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that I have seen from PX at every stage of the process.

The charges were clear and were advised upfront. Communication has been excellent throughout and my advisor made sure that I fully understood every aspect of their recommendations. Once approved I know that PX then worked proactively on my behalf to expedite the implementation of them.

After emigrating to Australia many years ago I decided to amalgamate 3 old private uk pension funds into one fund with px wealth with the end goal transferring the fund into a qualifying fund here in Australia . Px being a company whom specialised in this type of transfer was my main reason for dealing with this company.
From the outset back in 2018 px have been a pleasure to deal with , they seemed to have got my risk factor spot on and invested my funds well with decent returns,, the overseas transfer is a drawn out affair no matter which company you use but px again performed well , I tried tirelessly to await a good time to make the switch of the funds to try and receive as good an exchange rate
as possible which again is a crystal ball affair.

After much research, I selected Pension Exchange to help me through the process of transferring a Pension TV with safeguarded elements within it. (Such advice was mandatory in my case).

What a good decision. The IFA assigned to my case was Michael Hall who listened to what I wanted, offered ongoing advice if I wanted it, but never pushed it once I indicated that I didn't need this. He had a relaxed, assured manner and I took to him and his approach immediately.

Michael knew my strong preference was to effect the transfer. He emphasised that, no matter how keen I was, he would have to go through a thorough a review of my finances, assets and financial priorities before making a recommendation.

When he finally made a recommendation I went through it and was impressed by its thoroughness – indeed much more detailed than I would have anticipated.

Their fees were also less than I had been quoted elsewhere

Their admin contact, Charlotte Barnes, was first class, a friendly and proactive person who continued to take an interest in my case, chasing other parties for updates right through until she had confirmation that the transfer had been completed.

Overall, I could not fault them in any way.

UK pensions companies do not resource this work adequately, and appear to give it little priority. If you are to achieve your goals you need an outstanding team of advisers.
