Used Pegler a number of times now and always been great. Nothing too much for them. Quick, efficient and respectful. Would recommend.

Very pleasant and polite.
Helped out more than they needed to.
I didn't pay for the packing service but myself and the wife were in a right state after trying to juggle the kids and dogs. The removal guys made it so much easier for us and helped throw everything into boxes that we hadn't got around to.

The people on the other end of the phone were really nice and kept me up to date with availability when I was looking to provisionally book.

This was one area where Pegler made it a stress free task. At the other end they were quick and just as efficient. Rebuilding furniture where needed and keeping everything tidy. They even took their shoes off when entering out new home.

Helpful, patient, understanding and careful from beginning to end! Really can’t recommend Peglers highly enough!!

I had the displeasure of interacting with one of their staff members - the driver. He used profane language and was incredibly rude because my partner had parked in a spot he wanted to park in, my partner had already parked and was gone when the removal vehicle turned up, in total we were parked there for less than 10 minutes because he was only dropping off our eldest daughter to school. I explained I could not move his car because I do not drive and besides I had my 6 month old in the buggy - it would have taken more time to put her back in the car along with the buggy than wait for my partner.

When the van turned up a guy came out and asked if we'd be there long, I said no just dropping off our daughter to school and I told him that I couldn't move the car because I don't have a driver's license, so then the van circled the block, we were still parked. Anyone can park on the road, there are no permits. The driver had the window down and swore as he went past, he parked just down the road, he then bounded up and quite aggressively asked when we were moving the car, I gave him the same answer as I told his colleague. He again swore and stormed off.

The vehicle didn't have the name of the company on but the staff jackets did.
To the man driving: if you hate your job that much to be that rude in the morning to a woman with a 6 month old in the buggy then you need to find a new one.
To the company: you need to take greater care at who is representing you - I for sure will be recommending people to stay away from this company.

We used Pegler as they came highly recommended by a family member. The team who moved us were professional , efficient , careful and extremely hardworking throughout what was a very long day. They were really positive and cheerful which supported us, and nothing was too much to ask in terms of where we wanted everything to go.

Unfortunately I can't give zero stars. My initial contact with the company was good, but it all went swiftly downhill from there.
The team from Pegler didn't pack or label boxes correctly as I had requested, which led to breakages, and items put haphazardly all over the house and in the sheds. Many pieces of my furniture are scratched and damaged since they were not packed or unpacked in an orderly manner.
I had two boxes which were packed with the contents of my rubbish bins and were left in my dining room. I am disabled and it is VERY obvious that I need walking aids. On the day of the move I was using my rollator so I could sit when needed, but my crutches and walking aids were at the back corner of the shed with loads of other stuff haphazardly put in front of them. I have only just found my walking aids (8th July), whereas my move was 14th May meaning I had to spend money I can ill afford to purchase other walking aids in the interim.
They also packed food from the fridge and put it in the shed rather than in my kitchen. The food decomposed and I now have an infestation of mice in the shed which was not there previously.
I had some friends help me with some of the packing, and everything was well packed, labeled and arrived safely, but the movers didn't take any notice of the labels on the boxes and put them anywhere.
There is no way I could recommend Pegler Removals based in this experience. I have damaged furniture and belongings and mice.
My only recommendation is not to use them.
