PayU appears to work with fraudulent merchants

PayU appears to work with fraudulent merchants who misuse the platform to collect payments without fulfilling any orders. Despite providing proof and repeated complaints, PayU only keeps saying “contact the merchant,” while the merchant never responds.
It seems PayU is more focused on collecting commission payments than protecting customers. Their lack of accountability and investigation encourages scams and erodes trust in online payments. Very disappointing and unsafe experience — consumers should be careful before using this gateway.

Its a scam

The payU money did not refund full amount to the customer. The cut convenience fees in case of refund also.

We had a very disappointing experience…

We had a very disappointing experience with PayUmoney. Even after canceling the Offer Engine, they kept charging our account. We tried contacting the Account Manager many times through emails and calls, but never got a response.

Ironically, when we disabled the payment gateway, they started calling us every day to ask why we stopped using the service. But once we resumed, the support disappeared again.

Due to this poor service and lack of proper support, we are now planning to switch to another payment gateway like CCAvenue or Razorpay. We do not recommend PayUmoney based on our experience.

Because i cannot give lower than this

Because i cannot give lower than this, its been 35 days and still payu team is asking for documents even i have uploded them, shared on whatsapp and even shared on email. Payu money service Specially Mubashir Yusuf mubashir.yusuf. is the worst team mate. Never replied on call and on sms.

very poor customer service

very poor customer service. I tried to register first time. I filled all the required information. Afte submitting the first. I got noticed that customer care team will contact me. So far, i have filled the form many times but couldn't receive call response from customer care team. Very pathetic situation. I don't know how they run their business.

Worst company ever they eat your money…

Worst company ever they eat your money and never reply to your compalints my settlement got on hold and they told to release settlement after 210 days its 250+ days no reply from there support and my money still stuck

Worst Customer support service

Worst Customer support service, PayU scams merchant by selling their plans. its a company of scammers and fraudsters. Never recommend this gateway, it always create problems.

Extremely disappointed with PayUmoney

Extremely disappointed with PayUmoney! It's been over 30 days and my issue remains unresolved. Customer support is appalling - no response from the Pay U team, and no accessible customer care number. The'Help' option is a joke, consistently showing login errors. Their'Chat with expert' is just an auto-reply loop, offering no real assistance. My money's stuck, and their support is non-existent.

website went for verification, it has been 1 week, till now the verification is still going on

A few days ago due to change in my website link, for safe side, I changed the link in website section of payumoney, because of that the website went for verification, it has been 1 week, till now the verification is still going on, because of that verification, my settlement money. Is also kept pending. Tried to raise ticket in support, even after login, they were asking for login again and again, so after 1 week, support team is still sleeping

We used Payumoney for a few years since…

We used Payumoney for a few years since February 2022, when they failed to settle our collected amount. Since the tens of times we have raised the complaint and requested to settle the amount. But initially they responded with promise to settle at priority. But Later they have stopped even replying.They have blocked releasing our funds for over 6 months and did not even give an intimation that they have blocked the funds. There is no support number, just a stupid bot on chat. They charge huge fees, but don't give any service. In Spite of several emails, still funds have not been released. Worst payment gateway.
Kindly acknowledge me and clear our money. Its been 6 months now. They have pretending to be deff. I guess they have started this new way of earning by eating away customers money, may be they have failed in earning from their core service. May be they are losers in the stiff competetion. May God Bless them with good intentions. I hope this consumer complaint portal is really intended for resolving such complaints. Maybe I get justice.

Unprofessional Service.

I have made a payment to a merchant through PayUMoney, the payment got failed.
So I tried to contact the customer care through raising ticket, they closed the ticket/Query without resolving the issue.
They haven't provided any contact number in their website.
Really unprofessional service.

Fraud gateway supporting scammers and…

Fraud gateway supporting scammers and fraudulent sites taking customers for ride. No response to any complaint about fraud Marchant since thus gateway is also fraud. Beware of such fraud gateway. I don't know how RBI gives permission to such frauds.

Supports Fake and Scam Websites. Never responds to complaints

I have complained PayU against a fraud and scam website "theshoeskart", it's been more than 15 days but PayU didn't even replied. PayU promotes fraud merchants like "theshoeskart" who accept payment through PayU and never sends the products. There are hundreds of complaints against that website and people are paying by trusting payment gateways like PayU but PayU is simply promoting such online frauds by not doing anything against the complaints even though PayU has the right to do so. Never expected this from PayU. People should not trust PayU for making online payments because if they get trapped, this payment gateway would do nothing.
