I was onboarded after being solicited by National Bankcard and moved my business, Event Rush Holdings, to Paysafe. Since opening my account on March 25, 2026, I processed over 200 legitimate transactions totaling $17,288.30.
I have not received a single deposit.
Paysafe requested verification for only 4 transactions, which I fully complied with by providing customer details and proof of service, including QR scan data and timestamps confirming attendance. All transactions were legitimate and fulfilled.
I was instructed to continue processing and told the review would take 1–3 business days. I was later informed that funds would be released. Instead, delays continued while additional transactions were processed, followed by a sudden decision to shut down the account and hold 100% of funds for up to 180 days—without identifying any specific violation.
At this point, it appears I have effectively extended a $17,000+ interest-free loan to this company.
If there were concerns about 4 transactions, commercially reasonable alternatives existed, such as placing a reserve only on those transactions. Instead, 100% of funds were withheld, which appears excessive and disproportionate.
This raises serious concerns regarding:
Lack of transparency in risk determinations
Failure to act in commercially reasonable good faith
Potential unfair or deceptive practices (UDAAP) given the representations made and reliance induced
Customer support has not provided meaningful explanations or cited any specific contractual violation.
To Paysafe executive and compliance teams:
I am requesting immediate review of this account and release of funds, or a clear written explanation supported by specific contractual provisions and risk criteria. I am not going away and every single day that passes, i will write one blog post of my experience until you are no more or my full balance as to which I never saw a dime is deposited.
To other business owners:
Understand the risk of delayed or withheld payouts, even after verified transactions and completed services.

I bought a paysafe card and it was blocked, got redirected to their customer service. There, they requested a photo of the paysafe bill with a code written on it as proof that it was actually me, along with other info, such as name, address and such. I did it. 2-3 weeks later, they sent me a mail, saying that i can get a refund for the blocked code, they just need id photo, banking info and such.
Why can they not just re-activate the code? Why can't they just send me a new code? Why do I need to give them all of my info, for a refund, when I just want a working code? I read that some people went a step ahead anyway, gave them that info, just to be asked for more info after. Their customer service does not deal with these problems, they eithwr say that they won t do anything about it or just send a no reply response, puahing the refund. Paysafe, your rating is 1.3, at this point, you're almost at the lowest rating anyone can be. You need to reconsider the way you treat your customers and how you do things.

This is an absolute joke. Over a week ago, I topped up my account with a €150 Paysafecard. Shortly after, Paysafe froze my account without any apparent reason, and I can no longer access my money.
As requested, I immediately uploaded a photo of my ID and the purchase receipt. Since then, there has been absolutely no response from Paysafe. Not a single reply—only a generic message saying that the issue has been forwarded to the appropriate department.
This is completely unacceptable. I urgently needed that money and still do. Do yourselves a favor and never use Paysafe. I strongly advise all friends and acquaintances to avoid it as well. What is happening here is beyond unacceptable.

I deposited 55 euro in my paysafe and they just scammed me and they are giving me my money back and for no reason they are replying with some stupid emails that I never registered this account & many more and now they replied I registered account with another email and deleted my account without even confirming clearly they got my money and not willing to give it back to me. I tried and it was a very bad experience and this 55 euro means a lot to me which they just wanished for no reason. And they are not even giving me any good information. I have sent so many emails and every time they reply with nonsense I have all proofs emails that I deposited money. I am trying from last one month and it's been over a month still trying to get back the money.

My experience with Paysafe has been absolutely outrageous and deserves nothing less than a serious warning to anyone considering using their services.
Opening an account is incredibly easy and fast — almost suspiciously so. But the moment you actually start using the platform as intended and in line with their own terms and conditions, everything changes. Without any clear reason or explanation, your account suddenly gets blocked. No warning, no transparency, no proper communication.
The worst part? Your money gets locked, and it feels like it simply disappears. Attempts to contact customer support lead nowhere — just generic responses or complete silence. There is zero accountability and no real effort to help resolve the issue.
This does not feel like a trustworthy financial service provider, but rather a system designed to bring users in and then leave them stranded once real money is involved.
My advice is simple: stay far away. There are plenty of alternatives that are transparent, fair, and actually respect their customers. Paysafe does not deserve your trust.

The fees are more than what was disclosed when I signed up
I would like to have the funds help until I transfer them to the bank like I did with PayPal.
The funds come in to the account at different times and batched at times so it is hard to track which people paid and when.

I switched from Square because of high fees. I was told the fees would be included in paymentto customer, with a monthly charge of $10. The wait for customer service is long and I was charged 4% fees on my transactions, plus the $10.
It took a very long time to get my account set up with my POS system. The Paysafe tech people would not talk to the tech people at NCR so I was the go between and I am not a tech person. I was not getting information for days so it was very frustrating, I wanted to cancel the account but was told that there would be a cancellation fee of $350 even though my account was not even working at that time.

The salesman at Paysafe flat out lied to me and said the fee to run their card reader was $10 a month flat fee plus 1.5 percent using it at the local farmers market as I sell produce there. First thing after taking a few charges I got hit with a $60 charge totally unexplained.

If I could give NO STARS I would
HORRIBLE Experience!
Not to waste much more of time on this horrible company...so in short...got approved for 30K a month with a 10 k daily limit...ran 1 transaction, all good, next transaction no problem, cue the doom music....transaction 3 was for 10K, got flagged by risk dept, sat in limbo 5 days, I finally get an email from Sandy in the risk dept, I call her back, answer her questions, re explain our business model and after 27 minutes of her not being interested in keeping my business, she hangs up on me.
Side note- We are Licensed General Contractors and Real Estate Agents, having been in business over 23 years, so very little risk
Then is goes on 6more days with me calling risk and emailing risk dept and calling my sales rep andthen after 12 days, they finally decide to cancel the transaction and refund my client his money....so they had his money for 12 days and hasssled me at least 8 hours in total intil resolution
Long story short, RUN AWAY from this company, there are hundreds of processors..This one needs to close up shop and end the misery

Had three issues to discuss. The tech answered one of the three questions and sought answers to the other two.
Only problem, took over an hour to speak to someone.

Percent is good. But the service was not so good. I asked my rep 5 times to put me on next day funding. Each time he said no problem I’ll get it done. Finally call Paysafe directly and spoke with them about next day funding. I waited 2 weeks to receive an answer. No one ever reached out so I called back. The lady on the phone put me on hold for a little bit and came back and said they turned me down for next day funding. I asked why and she said she couldn’t get an answer as to why. Which didn’t make since because I ran around $14k my first month or so with them. So they see I will run transactions through. So I told the lady without next day funding I will no longer be running any transaction with Paysafe. And to have a nice day. I will use others who are knocking down my door to run with them.

I was given to understand that I would only be charged a percentage on transactions, since I chose the cheapest option. Then I started getting charged $40/month for some reason. Not happy with that. Will not use this service ever again, and I will not recommend it to others.
