These survey systems are vulnerable to so much bias and abuse. Unhappy people enjoy complaining and could easily sabotage companies. In their current form they should not be allowed in my view.... See more

Absolutely useless. They just close a case with no opportunity to redress. The company sent out the goods, courier says they were delivered. This was not the case. The intermediate courier passes it... See more
So bad of them for not allowing some others countries apart from their selected companies, very bad service.
Their customer service; their ability to fairly and transparently resolve disputes; and easily accessing money paid on your account are now things of the past! It is a bother to deal with PayPal now.

I am very disappointed with PayPal’s handling of my refund request for Surfshark. Despite providing all the necessary details, PayPal refused to investigate the issue properly. Their customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no willingness to support individual customers. It feels like they always favour large corporate companies over ordinary users. This experience has left me with no trust in their dispute resolution process. Very poor service overall.
Case Closed Too Quickly Based on “Delivered” Status
I have generally had acceptable experiences with PayPal, but this recent case was handled poorly.
I opened a dispute because a parcel marked as “delivered” was never received. The case was closed very quickly, seemingly only because the seller provided a tracking number showing “delivered.”
However, no proper verification was done:
The tracking number referred to China Post, which does not deliver in Denmark
No information was provided about the local courier who supposedly completed the delivery
No proof of delivery was requested or shared (no address confirmation, signature, or photo)
I have video doorbell and surveillance footage showing no delivery took place
Despite submitting additional information and appealing the decision multiple times, the case appeared to rely entirely on the tracking status rather than the actual facts.
PayPal is supposed to offer buyer protection, and in situations like this, simply accepting a “delivered” scan without verifying the final carrier or proof of delivery is not sufficient.
I hope PayPal improves how disputes involving third-party couriers and international tracking are handled, especially when customers can provide evidence that a delivery did not occur.
I bought a £650 bracelet through PayPal…
I bought a £650 bracelet through PayPal and when the tracking said it had been delivered and signed for I contacted the company who where less than helpful so I put a claim in with PayPal who despite me pointing out I had not received the item let alone signed for it ! They sided with the seller ! So I contacted my bank who told me PayPal had put the payment through as a direct debit and therefore I couldn’t claim, so I’m out of pocket by £650 THANKS PayPal !!!
Buyer Beware!
Purchased some clothing from a vendor on 9/30/24 using the "PayPal in 4" payment plan offered by PAYPAL. Merchandise never received and vendor never responded to my complaints. PayPal says they cannot refund (or even let me file a complaint about the vendor) because "vendor was paid in full" and they don't offer customer protection for purchases made on their payment plans. Not informed of this PRIOR to my purchase.
Beware of PayPal Charity Subscription
I have used PayPal a lot for years. I just discovered that somehow I signed up for a PayPal Charity subscription. Apparently I somehow signed up for this over a year ago and PayPal has been accessing my credit card on file to make payments to its charities. One was for $200! I give directly to charities. Never intentionally agreed to some PayPay Charity subscription. I suspect they had a button that was easy to somehow hit to sign up for this. Seems very deceptive and they will not return the funds they took out for this subscription. So please beware of this and make sure to closely check your PayPal payments because you will not be able to get a refund. I have gotten no satisfaction from thrm. I suspect others may have encountered this so will be reporting them to the BBB. So be careful!
Not bad so far

Disgusting experience.I paid for an item which NEVER arrived.I set up a dispute. Paypal informed me the item HAD been delivered and signed for! Case closed. A sickening disregard for a customer who once trusted PayPal.so be aware, you may well not be covered at all.

Ordered an item and paid through PayPal. The item didn't arrive so I made a claim. PayPal has sided with the company saying that they provided a tracking number so it must be legit. I wouldn't mind but this item was a Christmas present to which now I have not received and trying to contact PayPal is a nightmare and I cant even contest their decision.
Paypal is dishonest, direct bank to bank processing is honest
Exorbitant taxes Paypal must be used as a last alternative, he who sends pays and he who receives also pays.
No clear information is available at the time the money is sent.
The customer should know all the details before sending the money.
These are people who are playing with you !!!

PayPal is the worse app or company to deal with. It never fails if I try to send money it’s returned. If I try to send through zoom it’s returned. I can never fully use this app to its entirety.

I ordered a men's jacket by PayPal but it was never delivered, I informed them about a issue but they’re on the Scam company(Ferlagimo) side!!! PayPal is not taking any responsibility!!!
A Paypal rep messaged me for 2 weeks for no reason!
I asked Paypal a question. They gave useless responses and I figured out the answer myself. A Customer Support rep started messaging me. I told him I didn't need any help. I told him, "STOP, STOP, STOP, STOP." This person messaged me every single day for 2 weeks, sometimes as many as 5 times a day. He claimed - falsely - that it was impossible for either him or me to stop the "conversation." Finally, with no help from him, I figured out how to end him. I reported him to Paypal fraud Dept. Did they care? NOPE.

IN LEAGUE WITH SCAMMERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
This company allow scammers to use their payment platform, so you need to be really careful when using it. They offer Buyer Protection but they are very unreliable when it comes to claiming on it.
They allow scammers from China and Indonesia, to name but two counties and these scammers use social media as their shop window and offer PayPal as a payment method.
I have suffered losses as a result of this company not undertaking the proper due diligence about which companies it allows to use its platform.
Paypal is by far the WORST financial…
Paypal is by far the WORST financial platform I've ever delt with. If you try to trade crypto especially. There is ALWAYS a problem with the transaction. Its beyond ridiculous. I've had to call customer support at least 3 times. And all because I I tried to send crypto MORE THAN ONCE, it flagged my acct. And put a hold on my acct for 24-48 hrs. The more times you try, the longer its gonna be frozen. Im so over paypal. They are losing my business quickly.
Customer service terrible!!!
I have had a PayPal debit transaction of £47.83 appear on my bank account, that does not show on my PayPal account, I have not made a purchase and have had no email communication about this debit. I spent over 54 minutes to day on the phone to PayPal and to be honest I may as well have been talking to a brick wall! I noticed this unauthorised debit on 3rd December and have been trying to sort it with PayPal ever since, none of their online options worked and getting to speak with a human being is nigh on impossible! I did manage to get through to someone today, who passed me on to another department, but their only suggestion was for me to ring my bank, something I did the minute I saw this transaction, but they can’t do anything as it is a PayPal direct debit. In the past I have always been able to sort any problems quite easily with them, but this experience has made me very uneasy and I am seriously considering closing my account as I feel I can no longer trust them! I rang my bank again today and got the systems reference number for the unauthorised debit, but trying to get that information to PayPal is once again proving difficult, I have never come across a more customer unfriendly set up!!!
Unsolvable issues here
More convinent and amazing feature, fast response of platform, fast response of customer support?, amazing quality of service given when all thing goes good
The big and demonic problem is for death decision of the regulations and laws they follow. They are cruel not looks like hunan beings
Example. I have created account three times but all fails. I have contacted through all of their customer services through email ticket, Facebook Instagram twitter but they reply me as anything they can do. I want to use PayPal more but they couldn't rectify my account as i need. They pose permanently disabled my account. I have balance 10usd on account.
I am in Ethiopia and i can present any appropriate documents to legally eligible person free from any unlawful. But no one can solve issues. They have problem eith solving issue easy issue.
I love PayPal
But i didn't recommend PayPal especially for africans, unaffordable to solve issues here
