After giving this job center numerous chances over an extended period, I can honestly say it has been the most unprofessional recruitment experience I have encountered.
On more than 7 occasions, I applied for positions advertised on their website, only to be contacted and informed that the role I applied for was either no longer available, never actually available, or that they were unsure of the position's status themselves. In several cases, the job advertisements remained live on their website even while I was being told the role was unavailable.
Another recurring issue was the lack of basic information in job postings. Multiple advertisements listed jobs as being located somewhere in the country without mentioning that they required working from a specific city. I only learned this during the interview process, after already investing time in applying and speaking with recruiters. This is information that could and should be clearly stated in the advertisement from the beginning.
I also repeatedly experienced what appeared to be ghost or misleading job advertisements. Instead of discussing the role I applied for, recruiters often attempted to redirect me toward completely different positions that had little or nothing to do with my qualifications, interests, or original application.
Communication was frequently poor, with recruiters often calling on low-quality phone lines and appearing unfamiliar with the details of the vacancies they were supposedly recruiting for.
Everyone can make mistakes occasionally, but after experiencing the same problems repeatedly over many applications, I no longer view these as isolated incidents. My overall impression is that the organization lacks proper communication, accurate job posting management, and respect for applicants' time.
I cannot recommend this job center based on my experiences.

For context, I have tried applying through them since 5/15/25 with close to 50 emails in my inbox to proof the various applications I went through.

I applied for the position of a Finnish Speaking Recruiter - No Experience Needed - Work Remote Worldwide job at Mercier Consultancy.
I received an interview invitation and booked a slot immediately. Just a couple of hours before the interview was scheduled to start, I got a notification that the interview had been canceled without any prior notice or at least a brief explanation.
I immediately contacted the recruitment team via email to ask how to proceed and if they will the reschedule. I never received a response.
I even proactively decided to pick a new time using the original scheduling link and guess what? A couple of hours later, the interview was canceled AGAIN without any prior notice or explanation.

It's difficult to believe a professional company would behave this way, even if the candidate is not a good fit. If the candidate didn't meet their requirements, they shouldn't have sent an interview invitation in the first place. At the very least, if they sent it by mistake, they could've sent a brief email explaining the reason for a cancellation.

This company is probably just collecting individuals personal details for suspicious reasons.

I cannot recommend this company for candidates or freelancers. Why not? They pretend there are top jobs available in Greece, but it just comes down to low-paid call centre work. The two reviews written by Adams (15/3/25) and Vaes (6/8/24) are from freelancers who work for the company.

I received an offer to work as a freelancer.
It seemed interesting until I saw the overview of when, and if, payments would be made. The training is given by someone with no experience and is completely unstructured. From a professional company, you would expect to receive a contract, but you must request it yourself.

What I found most concerning: you work with sensitive candidate data, such as curriculum vitae, but you are not required to sign any privacy or GDPR-related documents. The Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) will certainly not overlook this.

A total scam! I scheduled different interviews, they don't call or delete the interviews, I blocked all addresses coming from these agencies related to this phantomatic Patrick mercier and reported as scam.

I've recently relocated thanks to the job I found via Patrique Mercier Recruitment.
I honestly don't think I would have known where to begin had it not been for these guys. They supported my relocation right from the beginning until I literally picked up my keys and was outside my new apartment, and even since then, they've answered my questions, given advice and generally been helpful beyond words.

They prepared me fully for my interview, and I'm now in my third month at my new job and couldn't be happier!

I got help from Sergio a recruiter with this company, very friendly they had a range of jobs on offer and I took one job and stayed 6 month Athens. I had a good time and enjoyed my job. Thank you

I applied once, and they sent me a link to schedule an interview. I clicked on it, but I had to check my calendar before proceeding. When I tried to access the link again to schedule my interview, it didn’t work anymore. I emailed them to request a new link or reschedule, but they never replied. Very unprofessional because they are very active in LinkedIn.

The job descriptions provided were highly misleading and did not accurately reflect the actual role or responsibilities. It felt like a significant waste of time, and based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this opportunity to anyone. The expectations were unclear, and the overall process was disappointing and frustrating.

It's scam. Tons of similar positions in every area that you can imagine! That's impossible.

You could send your CV to this guy and his website or you could apply directly to the main BPOs companies in Greece.

My interviews was only 2 min, Very rude, on the description of the role said Full remote and during the interview he says No.
No communication at all.

Unprofessional and Disappointing experience with Patrique Mercier Recruitment, and I am not the only one.
I recently had an online interview scheduled, and unfortunately, they completely failed to show up, without any notification. Plus there was no communication afterward to explain or reschedule.
I researched and found numerous reviews online from others who reported similar unprofessional behavior. This raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of this company. Their behavior makes it seem like a scam or, at the very least, an organization posting fake job offers to create an illusion of success. For a recruitment agency, it is frankly ridiculous to deliver such a poor experience in the very process you are supposed to specialize in.

they asked me to fix date and time for interview, and 2 days after they cancelled it without any reason ... or else a bogus excuse. not a serious company, do not waste your time

Patrique Mercier Recruitment helped me with getting a job in Greece, Athens. It was quick and efficient and a very nice team of people helping me on my way with a new career. A new job and experiencing the amazing city of Athens.
