Do not go here if you care about hygiene

All I can say is if you’re thinking of going here don’t go !! The accommodation is disgusting so so dirty even after complaining and cleaners coming again. The place is still filthy. The mould on walls the wallpaper hanging off holes in the wall just overall the most abysmal place. The hygiene in the park is also awful the toilets are so disgusting I wouldn’t even use them. The whole place smells of wee. Swimming pools were so filthy I felt sick walking in. You can’t get booked onto any activity so you have to queue up and it took 2 hours queuing to go swimming. Overall the worst holiday park I have ever ever stayed in. We spent as much time out of the park as possible n

Really quick and easy booking process with Parkdean Resorts. I booked our stay at Vauxhall Holiday Park using my Blue Light Card discount, which was a great bonus. Everything was straightforward, and we’re now looking forward to our stay in February 2027! 😊

Only reviewing the booking process up to now.
The lady was so helpful but the only downside was I needed an accessible caravan and 2 others for carers and had to pay two lots of location fees so the carers caravans could be near to the disabled clients one. So each carers caravan had an extra £35 charge.

Disgusting

I have given it a one star purely because it doesn’t give you the option to rate ZERO! So my story starts as a child abused by our father and grandfather. 3 years ago my sister took her own life after taking our abusers to the CID. The case was dropped but I am fighting tirelessly to make sure there will be justice and my sisters statement will be read in court, as the last means for her voice to be heard. This situation has caused near death asthma attacks and suicidal intentions to be with her. Last week I was admitted with yet another threat to my life with asthma and was only discharged under the care of the community psychiatric team. During this episode where I am not fully myself I paid £135 for a week in a tent through parkdean as I felt in that moment it made me feel normal. On reflection it was ludicrous, unhealthy and possibly not ideally the place to be when you are already feeling suicidal. Contact Parkdean sending discharge letter which backs up all this and opened up about my past and present journey. Got told
Sorry we can’t refund a grass pitch I booked less than a week ago due to refund policy. Explained every penny counts and begged for a refund. Was told they had to be fair to all customers, my response was if I was asked by parkdean as a customer can we show this lady a little support, empathy and understanding and give a refund of £135, I don’t think they would have one objection! It’s GREED stop blaming your customers and using them as an excuse for your lack of care, I sincerely hope you never ever have to go through what I am at present. The want to be here everyday is a struggle and all you think is important is £135. £135 I might need to get justice for me, my sister and others like me!!! Parkdean is a disgusting and most certainly not a family holiday as they would all like us to believe. If you agree with please I reach out to post a message on any social platform you can and expose the disgusting attitude of this company. WE ARE SURVIVORS ALTHOUGH AT TIMES WE MAY NOT THINK IT BUT WE ARE!! No thanks to parkdean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booking number 12785910!!

Good luck parkdean! Disgusting

Heacham Beach

Heacham Beach - booked Gold Premium for 4 nights. The caravan was absolutely filthy!! Also not well maintained at all. Curtain pole hanging off, screws in carpet track had screws sticking up between twin bedroom and hall, my niece cut her foot.
The dust wasn’t just surface dust, it was long standing ground in dust all over. Skirting was filthy, upholstery was black with grime. The level of cleanliness was abysmal. What on earth gets cleaned by “a dedicated team of cleaners” is beyond me! It just doesn’t get cleaned. Certainly not as advertised that’s for sure. If that was Gold Premium, I’d hate to think what the lower band vans are like!! The restaurant and showbar was no better, all dirty. This company should be ashamed of themselves for the amount they charge for such disgusting filth! I will never return or recommend and I will be taking this further!

If I could give-5* I would

If I could give-5* I would! Paid over 1k for a golden premium only to be given a bronze caravan! We have always had golden caravans previously so wanting an extra special treat was ruined with the standard. Customer service was poor and wouldn’t even let me speak. Enjoyed Cornwall but definitely wouldn’t visit lizard point resort again

Very disappointed/dirty urine vans

Very disappointed, booked a few vans with the park all gold, that certainly wasn’t what we paid for with the over rated cost. Most vans were all different, not all gold standards, dirty carpets, sofas, no lights in bedrooms, missing bulbs, no decking, no parking, x2 vans were strong smell of urine and pets- we’re not pet friendly vans, x1 very strong urine, wet carpets especially in bedrooms 1 , staff were informed, they admitted when visiting the van it was strong smell or urine, said they didn’t know if it was pet or person? Disgusting 🤮, they came in sprayed and tried to clean, smell still there, advised the family staying there child was allergic to pets, and couldn’t stay there, they advised get a epi pen fir safety and there were no cans to move them too? Which that’s a disgrace, for emergency’s paying for a hold van and get that standard there was not a spare van to move this family? The customer service was shocking. So unprofessional, the cleanliness in these vans are beyond repair, so worn down and charging the prices is dat light robbery, so no discussions or assistance to solve the problem, poor poor customer service & management skills, they need to re train and think of their customers. Still allocating this van to someone paying good money knowing it was this state. Our group has to locate another private van to move this family at the extra expense of our charity, I’m awaiting a reply from 2 weeks ago and expect an apology and compensation… I certainly will not be booking again with our families, I am well and truly disgusted and disappointed the lack of support and empathy regarding this matter.

Terrible experience

**Google Review**

We have been visiting Coopers Beach Parkdean Resort on and off for many years, so it is really disappointing to say that our experience in August this year was by far the worst we have had.

We ordered food at the clubhouse for our family. Half of our group received their meals, while two of us were left waiting for over an hour for ours. The restaurant was only around 10% full at the time, and I even filmed the restaurant to show how quiet it was.

When the food eventually arrived, my steak was extremely chewy and my daughter's steak was completely raw in the middle when she cut into it — not rare, but raw. I immediately took the food back to the bar and asked to speak to someone in charge.

Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled was even more disappointing than the food itself. I spoke to a member of staff named Zoe, who I found to be extremely rude and dismissive. When I requested a refund for the meal, she refused and laughed. I was then shocked when security was called to remove me from the restaurant, simply because I had asked for a refund for food that was unacceptable.

At no point did I raise my voice, use offensive language or behave aggressively. I have photographs of the steak, as well as a video recording of the conversation.

Afterwards, I sat outside with the family members I had been dining with. Around 30 minutes later, I was approached by another member of the security team, who was also rude and informed us that we were not allowed back into the restaurant because I had complained.

The whole experience gave me the impression that, at this particular resort, customers who complain are treated as a problem rather than listened to. It felt as though staff were protecting each other rather than dealing fairly with paying customers. To be made to feel threatened with removal from the site simply for complaining about a raw meal and requesting a refund is completely unacceptable.

This is such a shame because Coopers Beach used to be somewhere we enjoyed visiting, with a lovely clubhouse and a welcoming atmosphere for families. Sadly, based on this experience, the service, management and handling of customer complaints appear to have seriously deteriorated.

I was also approached by other members of the public sitting nearby who overheard the conversation who said that they had family members treated in same way.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before spending money on food at the clubhouse. Our experience was extremely poor from start to finish, and I believe the management and approach to customer service and complaints need a serious review.
