Ignore those saying they never got there games, they're probably not even customers and are just jumping on the band wagon. I was with these for around 5 months, everytime a game was sent back a new one was sent. I've also had numberous clutch boxes from them. They are legit and they will send your games.

The appalling customer service is what gives this company 2 stars instead of 5.

The company is not fake, you will get your games but you'll also experience horrendous customer service!

Well... After reading reviews... Looks like the one to avoid. How can you have ALL bad reviews and still be able to do business? Get outta dodge while you still can. Sorry I don't have any other options to post for now but i was just looking.

I was a customer of Paramount Game Rentals until they suddenly suspended my payments. I got no warning of this nor did I get an explanation. I simply got an E-Mail stating "Paramount Games Rental suspended your automatic payments"

At the time of all this happening, I still had one of their games, a game that had actually plummeted in price and could be picked up for about 99p in GAME or CEX (thanks Games with Gold!). I assumed that either they felt bad that I was paying £8.95 a month and currently had a game in my possession that was now only worth a quid or they had ceased trading! I emailed them and got no response at all and thought that was the end of it! I received no more games off my list, no communication and no request for their game back - All the signs pointing to a defunct company!

Then out of the blue 3 months later, I get an invoice from them stating that I owed them 3 months worth of subscription at a total cost of £26.85 ... This is despite the fact that they didn't respond to my E-Mail asking why my subscription was cancelled or if they wanted the game back - Also, lets not forget the game I had in my possession was worth ONE pound, they wanted 26 times what the game was worth AND they were the ones who cancelled my payments!

I tried explaining to them that I had tried to contact them and got no response, why was I expected to pay when they were the ones who cancelled it etc etc and they were having none of it! I was also threatened with having the amount passed to a debt collector who would charge me a £200 admin fee (so now 226 times what the game is worth)

Oh, but they did give me a "gesture of goodwill" by letting me off the £8.95 I would be charged because the game wouldn't arrive back before the next billing period!

On the off chance that PGR read this review ... I hope you enjoyed your £26.85 - Just think about how much more you could have made off my custom (and other peoples custom BEFORE they read this review) had you have provided a better and fairer service! Don't cancel peoples services and then blame them for your screw ups!

Oh, and if the above hasn't put you off joining them, consider this. Everyone on here that has left a review have all stated the same - Getting in touch with them is like trying to get blood out of a stone... In order to add games to your rental list, you HAVE to E-Mail them. You can not request games via their website (or at least couldn't when I was a member) like you could on Lovefilm or like you can on Boomerang!

Was a paid member for a month, did not receive a single game although I sent them a list of 10 as requested on the website. Never get a reply on any of their contact channels. Avoid at all cost, or you will regret it.

This is not a serious company, they don’t reply to emails... don’t send any games after payment... but continue to take your money even after confirming your cancellation. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Dangerous Company to use

I serious do not recommend using this site for game rentals, please think about it and reconsider. It is just as bad as it sounds.
