I just want to comment that the Whatsapp chat function for engaging with your customers during a vehicle service is brilliant. It allows both parties to be working day 'busy' but also to stay in touch, because the messaging sticks around until the other person is free. Well done.

Asked for complimentary wash and when I came to pick the car it was in worse conditions than I left it before the service.
Also ridiculously expensive £586 for full service… just changed oil filters and plugs

North Oxford BMW Negligence

These people are appalling. A major service on our BMW costing an unbelievable amount led to a fuel filter not being replaced properly. This led to 50 litres of fuel being sprayed all over the car, engine bay, underneath, and exterior paintwork. The car had to be recovered and was dragged onto the low loader. They initially tried to cover it up with the Works Manager telling us it was a faulty fuel filter! They think people are idiots. They have now admitted the technician (this is an over generous term) fitted the filter incorrectly. They have simply cleaned the car and put a fuel filter back. We are now having to take legal advice about how to proceed. No word of compensation for the stress - no mention of compensation for the poor service or the loss of a tank of diesel or anything else. They are immoral and untrustworthy. Avoid this place.

I’ve been trying to obtain a quote to replace a rear differential seal on my BMW X5.
Have phoned on Monday 25th November, again on the 26th and then on the 27th each time being promised someone will contact me. It’s now Friday at 8.49 and still no contact.BMW phoned back on 28th an apologised for delay in responding. Fast tracked my car through the workshop and completed the repair.

Needed diagnostics and repair on my 330E, but the service fell short

After being in touch with the service manager, and being promised the issues would be resolved, I can confirm that everything stated and promised have been rectified
Not sure what happened originally, but they promised a lot, and hit the mark
Car has now been correctly diagnosed, and I have been offered the information and costs to repair the car

I have removed most of the original review as they have gone above what would be expected, shame it couldn't have happened first time around, but they did resolve the issues originally stated

Happy with the end result

I'm a customer in North Oxford Garage since over nine years and I was always treated in a very nice and professional way, but this time I felt like a customer 2. class. Reason I assume, because I have a BMW via the management car scheme.
I dropped the car at 7 in the morning, when I came in at 3 pm, it felt like they only remembered to have a look at my car because I came in. I was told that I am the one with the 'plant' car. It took then another 2,5 hours to check the i-drive system. When getting the key back, I didn't get any explanation of the error, nor where I can find my car. I had to come back to say that the error was still there, only to get the details of the root cause of the error then.

I own the car and even though it's from the scheme, it doesn't make me any less of a customer.

Yet again, excellent service from Alex Alvarez at North Oxford Motorrad. He has supplied me with a number of products this year for my BMW R1300 GS and has delivered on all fronts. Thanks Alex.
