Terrible stay -
Terrible stay, we would not recommend nor return, accommodation was old and tired not what you’d expect due to the cost.
The property allows dogs which is great we always take our dog however the strong smell of dog hit us as we walked through the door. We have never experienced this before when staying in dog friendly accommodation.
Furniture was very old and tired (we were then accused of breaking a sofa which was incredibly old and we definitely did not break it, it was probably wear and tear due to its age!)
Ian was very rude on the phone.
Bedroom door in second double wouldn’t shut.
Silicone was mouldy in all bathrooms.
Part of the wall in the master bedroom had been ripped off to access the water tank and not fixed back in place.
The back gate didn’t open which made using it very difficult.
Grass was long, and there was a dirty dog poo bag by the back gate upon our arrival.
Ian and Hayley didn’t introduce themselves at all. When my Father said hello Ian didn’t respond or make any effort to welcome us.
The hot tub was sandy. Doubtful it had been cleaned. And the lights didn’t work.
The most annoying part of our stay was Hayley and Ians 7 dogs which bark throughout the night waking us up EVERY NIGHT! I’m unsure if these dogs are kept outside in kennels but it sounded as though they were.
When visiting the animals the chicken pen was dirty and small for the number of hens kept. The water was thick with mud on the occasions we went to see them.
Such as shame as we have holidayed using west wales holiday cottages for 15 years and never had a bad one until now.
