Failed to ship - Refuses Refund

Paid for items that were apparently drop shipping from a 3rd party vendor. That vendor printed a label with a destination county of Central Africa (I'm in US) and never turned the package over to USPS. They refuse to refund because it is up to their 3rd party vendor if they will refund. Vendor won't refund unless I return items they never shipped. 3 days so far of excuses, delays, and refusal to either ship correctly or refund. Now I just want a refund.

One star is rating them too high

One star is rating them too high! Worst return policy ever. I paid $272 for a rug and rug pad, which were shipped in separate packages. To return the items, they requested $62 shipping for the rig, $40 for the rug pad, because they were going to separate warehouses. I never even opened them! I asked for a supervisor and there were “none in the building.” I ordered two rugs the same day from rugs.com and they sent a return label, no questions asked, no return shipping.

Overstock has my money and product

Overstock claimed to have shipped my product 29 days ago with a company of ill repute. Of course it arrived damaged and I refused delivery, but now Overstock needs 3-4 to review, and magically during my text chat online and phone call, no mangers are available, even though I let them put me on hold multiple times during a 20 min span in attempt to reach one. It was the same ploy the one and only other time I ordered through this company. Now I have no product and no refund, and no supervisor who can address this issue properly !!!

Deducting Half My Refund in Return Shipping--Watch Out!

I ordered a larger item--a bookshelf/ etagerie from Overstock for $190. A few days went by and I decided I didn't need the item. It hadn't shipped, so I put in a cancel request. The next day, Overstock informed me that the order couldn't be cancelled. When the shelf arrived, I immediately opened a return. The next day Overstock informed me that they would deduct $81.97 in shipping to return my item. I checked with FedEx, which is the shipper they used, and FedEx quoted me $70 in return shipping. I am just going to keep the shelf and hope for the best, but I would not buy from this company again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

I ordered two chairs. They sent me one. I contacted them TWICE to get that resolved, and then a month later they charged me for the replacement chair. I still have yet to get that resolved despite contacting customer service twice.

My wife ordered a three-piece quilt set…

My wife ordered a three-piece quilt set and the set was advertised as a queen size but actually was sized for a twin bed.
She called to return it and was told the return label was $21.53 and to return it and she would have the remainder credited back to her credit card.
Lo and behold, Overstock charged her $15.00 because the item has been discounted since she purchased it. She called to dispute that and was on the phone with three different customer reps, who do not speak English well,trying to have this corrected.
Overstock is reluctant to correct the problem so she will dispute it with the credit card company and they won't be paid at all
DO NOT BUY FROM OVERSTOCK.COM.Their products and policies are poor.

Garbage cust service managers---loss…

Garbage cust service managers---loss prevention cancelled my order without confirming w me if the order was legit. After I called them and resolved, the cust service manager could not give me the promo price that I had in the original order. Do not purchase from them---try wayfair or any other company, lol.

My order never arrived and yet on the status page it says it was shipped
When I traced the shipping FedEx has my order shipped signed in another country proving I never received it …. Last time I deal with them now trying to get a hold of company to find out why my order which clearly has my address on it ended up in America at another address …. Signed for by someone I don’t know in Buffalo !!!!

Shady! Shady! Shady! Company

I just placed an order on overstock.com. It is July 1, 2023. I received an email stating that my delivery date is August 3, 2023 one month to ship two chairs. I attempted to cancel this order within 7 minutes of receiving the shipping info. No One was available at Overstock. I received text communication at 4:19 am from a rep at Overstock. They informed me that there was a “30 minute cancelation window” that I missed!!
I missed the window, because Overstock had NO REPS ONLINE!!
Overstock is a scheme, Overstock is a ripoff. Overstock is a blatant scam company!!
Do not, I repeat, do not buy from overstock.com. This company is only out to take your money and leave you sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst customer service ever. $36.42 is all I asked for. A rug that was lost in shipping. Says it's still in progress after 3 months. Can't seem to get anyone at the company to understand.

DO NOT BUY anything large from overstock.com! I bought shower doors a month ago, today... exactly 4 weeks later they cancelled the order saying no stock. REALLY? How come its showing you have 9 in stock and I can verify it with a phone call to your customer service people. I asked for a supervisor and all he could say was I will investigate it and Sorry. Called me back to say Sorry again...You will have to reorder it again and wait another 4 weeks. WOW you guys suck

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Worst company I have ever dealt with . I purchased a couch and chair from overstock . It was for my second home out of state . I had delivery set up . Drove 3 hours to home for them to call and cancel delivery . I said I needed next day and they setup another delivery . Then cancelled next day as well. lost 3 days work . I called and emailed several times and spent hours on phone and went no where ... multiple emails . And they are telling me they will only credit 500 out of 3500..this place is a joke . Taking to small claims and made BB complaint .

The company policy is not shopper friendly

Well the reviews explains why they don’t care about customer service. Obviously can’t get any worse. Made an order yesterday then the item went on sale for -$55 less. They refused to honor the sale price. I haven’t even received the product. Nonetheless I cancelled it and found it cheaper on Amazon. Lesson learned. Don’t by anything from overstock

I purchased the 4pcs patio furniture…

I purchased the 4pcs patio furniture and when it arrived it was small and looked like furniture for kids. I returned it just like it was sent to me and was told I would receive my refund. A month later still haven't gotten it yet. They owe me $424 cuz the purchase price was $536. They took $60 for labels sent to me and day I call them I get excuses after excuses. I was also told that at the beginning of the month they had already sent my refund. They lied to me. People please stop buying this cheap furniture and shop with businesses in your area where you can see what your getting. This place doesn't have quality furniture it's no good. They are a rip off.

Charged card for out of stock item - 3 weeks later still waiting for refund

Ordered a patio set with expected delivery date 4 days later. They charged my card immediately. A week later, tracking said only "label created" and item was showing "out of stock" on their website. I called & told them to cancel. They said they could not cancel because a label had been created - even though they didn't have the item in stock! Two weeks later, still no update, only "label created" and website said item out of stock. Took 4 contacts and nearly 3 weeks to get them to cancel the order - we shall see if my card is actually refunded. Meanwhile, they’ve had my $500+ for an item they could not send because they do not have it - and they didn't even tell me they didn't have it. I only found out it was out of stock by looking at it again on their website. Nightmare experience. I will never, ever, ever order from this unethical company again.

Return policy is ridiculous

Return policy is ridiculous. I ordered something at 7am and cancelled it at 10am. They state that it was already being prepared for shipping and they could not guarantee that it could be canceled but they would try. (sure) It arrived anyway and when I called Overstock to return the item I was informed that I would have to pay return shipping, which was 60 dollars which is half the cost of the item. When I stated that I canceled the order I was told you only have half an hour to cancel a placed order to guarantee a cancelation. Seriously? I refused and simply sold it on my local marketplace for just under what I paid for it but at least not half. I will never order from them again. Their customer service is terrible. I will continue to take my business to Amazon where customers are listened to and helped.

One star is too much. Placed an order. Paid for it. Customer Service never replied to my requested. They offered me a discount and then they cancelled the order The CC person was not trained and instead of giving me a discount she cancelled the order
She lost this purchased And Overstock lost a customer. This is how they do business Buyer Beware A waste of time

Very poor customer service experience

Very poor customer service experience. Tried to return patio rug because color I received did not depict color on website. They wanted to charge me $55.00 to return $100 rug. Told them I would just keep the rug & never order from them again

Going back strictly to Amazon where the customer is taken care of
