I was so tired of seeing the same things and outback , so I stopped going. Finally, I had tried a pork chop dish on the menu that was fabulous, but next visit, it was gone. So disappointing

I have to agree with the overall reviews. I went to the Outback by the Mall of GA, and normally the service and food are great. This time, I got the mushroom burger, and it was not good at all. I don'... See more

Steak was too tough to cut with the knife

we went to Outback as part of our 50th anniversary. Everything was very good except the steaks. They were so tough you would have a hard time driving a nail through them with a hammer. We left Outback without eating any steak. Very disappointing.

The first time I ordered medium rare…

The first time I ordered medium rare Prime Rib, it was a slice less than 1/2 inch thick. Another day the medium rare Prime Rib was burnt black, crusty outside and well done inside, and the bread was rock hard halfway through. Yet another day, the medium rare Prime Rib was ordered, it came out well done (and there was no bread and butter brought to us before or with the meal. They brough me a replacement steak that I did not order that was barely cooked bleeding with raw meat inside and still charged me for it. I will not return to a place where the cooks don't know how to cook steak. I can do better in my toaster oven at home.

Hello,

Hello,

I went to your restraint 4114 on 10/6/24 ordered two steak dinners receipt # 0065 at 14:09 pm. The steak was so over cooked hard as a brick the bake potato seemed to be cooked a few days ago very hard and the salad gave me diarrhea very quickly and horrible. I do know it was your food because I did not eat anything that day besides your food. I paid a lot of money for my meal and I would appreciate it if you would refund my money. I would of brought the food back, but an hour drive and the traffic is horrible!

Thank you,

Tammy H

Traveled an hour for their specials…

Traveled an hour for their specials advertised on TV. Got there and in Flagstaff, Az they don't honor the TV ads. Left and drove an hour home and had better leftovers from our lunch the day before at home.

"Mixed" Experience at Outback

We went to Outback in Albuquerque last night and had a very mixed experience. Our server was great--absolutely no negatives. My husband's filet was a perfectly done medium rare, and he was pleased. We both enjoyed our salads. However, I ordered grilled shrimp. They arrived in a pool of grease and with some sort of heavy seasoning on them. For me, they were inedible. Our server noticed I wasn't eating them and asked if everything was all right. I said, "No, for me, they are far too greasy and have way too much seasoning powder." She offered to get me another order and said they would not add oil. The new order arrived quickly; it was slightly less greasy than the original order, and had the same amount of seasoning powder--I assume the grill is absolutely covered in oil and seasoning powder. For me, they were not edible. The server said, "At this point is there anything we can do?" I said I would take them home and try to blot off the grease with a paper towel, but I couldn't eat them as they were. She brought me a pile of napkins and said maybe they would help. I scraped off all the seasoning I could with my knife, put the "cleaned" shrimp on the napkins and blotted off quite a bit of grease, and did, in fact, bring them home. I don't yet know whether they are salvageable or not. The shrimp experience, for me, was definitely a loser, but they did all they could to rectify it. I think 3 stars is a fair rating because it was my aversion to grease and heavy seasoning that made the shrimp inedible, and they did try to remedy my food, and when they couldn't, our server took the shrimp off the bill. Additionally, my husband's steak was quite good, salads were good, and service was excellent. Someone else might not mind grease and heavy seasoning on shrimp, but if we ever go back, I'll order a large salad for dinner, not "grilled" shrimp.

Medium steak was overcooked

I ordered a steak cooked to medium. It arrived and was overcooked-more like medium well. I sent it back and they cooked a new one perfectly. Then the bill arrives and they charged me for two steaks and then credited one off the subtotal. But then they recommend a tip on the total for both steaks! What? They want me to tip them for their mistake? (no pun intended)

Ex Fan

I have always been a fan if the Outback. I am now 84 and had not been for a while. My husband and I went last night. I spent $85, no alcohol, and was absolutely appalled by the meal. Start with the onion...over cooked to almost burned and in a pool of grease. My husbands prime rib was a plate of fat, I was served a so so sirloin on a small plate by itself and my mashed potatoes showed up 10/15 minutes later. Final...the only good thing was the salad. Even the rolls were like yesterdays stale ones. Guess I am done with my trips to Outback. It was so bad I didn't bother to complain.

While your food is wonderful and well…

While your food is wonderful and well worth the money, it isn't either of these that keep my wife and I coming back time and time again. It's one of your waiters, who in my opinion is one of my the best in the business. He works at your Roanoke Va location, and goes above beyond to make sure that his customers always have the best experience as well as great service and food. We always ask to be seated in his section. We gave had several other waiters and waitresses at this location; however, while the food remains great, the service has been a little lacking. We now ask for him by name, and if it happens to be his day off, we come back a different day just to be able to be waited on by him. His name is Jason. He is very professional, personable, and friendly. Our drinks never go empty, he never fails to check on us constantly throughout our meal always suggests add ons and dessert suggestions. He makes us feel special, as if we were at home. He now knows us by name since we come to dine twice a week and always request his section. Our drinks and bread come out before we even ask, as he knows what we always order. I know one customers opinion out of the millions you must have come through your doors may not mean that much, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due. If all of your wait staff were of the same caliber as Jason, I have no doubt that this location would stay packed and have a wait list all of the time. My name is Everett Mason, I am 67 years old, and a former Marine. I've lived in Vinton, Va for 28 years. We usually ate at Longhorn Steakhouse prior to the suprize experience we received at Outback thanks to Jason. Thank you so very much for taking your time to read this review. If you happen to have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (540. Tonight Jason suggested that we sign up for your rewards program due to how often we are there, which we did as soon as we got home. This is the first time I've ever written a review or comment about my experience at any location.

There were many issues with our food…

There were many issues with our food once it was delivered to our table. Steak was not well done, burger was ordered well done(not well done) and no onions(came loaded with onions), mashed potatoes no bacon(bacon was piled on it, ceasar salad was mediocre at best. To top it all off it was my daughter’s 40th birthday. Manager apologized but didn’t offer any type of discount off our bill until I requested it. Then a discount was given. I have been to this Outback in Bethlehem PA many times over the years & the food and service has gone down, while the prices have gone up! My steak was so small it looked like it was cut in 1/2. Our server told us they ran out of steak so I guess they attempted to stretch it. It’s nothing like it use to be. Also the table behind us sent their food back!

Is Outback Out?

I've been going to Outback for at least a decade.
Store #0263, 8255 W. Flagler St., Miami, Fl. 33144 since it opened at least 4 occasions. All previous visits my wife and I really enjoyed the food and personal. This last occasion was unfortunately a much poorer visit for the following reasons.
1. Ordered the coconut shrimp and we had to ask twice for appetizer plates before finally receiving them after 15 minutes with the CS sitting at our table.
2. We later ordered our entree, Baby back ribs for my wife and steak and Alice Springs for myself. They were brought to our table and then we needed steak knives which were never brought, and I finally had to get up and go to the front desk and request them.
3. My steak was good, but my "Alice Spring Chicken" was dry and a quarter of a half breast, with very little toppings than on other occasions. The "loaded" potato was more loaded with salt than sour cream and bacon as on other occasions.
4. All this time, our waiter. L. Hunter was nowhere to be found as was the manager that greeted us upon our arrival. The only time our waiter or other waiters were observed was three times when they we get together to sing "Happy Birthday", then they all disappeared.

Bottom line, it's obvious that the service and some of the food has changed at this location. The previous three occasions were much more appealing. We have always enjoyed Outback Steakhouse for many years, but it seems that if we want fair service, I have to say it's my Birthday and hope the foods is better.
Please be reminded that within 2 miles approximately there is a Texas Roadhouse and a Longhorn Steakhouse.
