Booked hotel with this company and then due to Covid 19 the booking was cancelled. Eventually they agreed to refund me but nearly 6 months later I still have had no refund. Completely ignored my last 2 emails.
Complete scam artists. Really beginning to doubt if I will ever see my money back.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Booked a hotel in Cork through Otel.com. No booking received at hotel and Otel.com fob me off with the fact that they use a hotel supplier. My own enquiries found that to be Metglobal who have never answered any of my queries either. Still received no explanation as to why no booking was received by the hotel. No refund or credit offered. This is a MUST AVOID booking medium.

FRAUDULENT COMPAMY. Left me high and dry after flying across the country. I have terminal cancer and this was a bucket list trip. How Horrible are these people to screw a dying person over. No response from them going to have to dispute the charges. We had to find and pay for another hotel. The booking number they gave us was fraudulent. So they basically took my money and never made a booking the resort just told us they were a disreputable company. Then why do they allow these companies to advertise them as a booking agent?

Otel.com are a complete shambles and a total scam,i booked a hotel in london for a 1 night stay costing over £300 which due to Covid was cancelled by the hotel,I eventually raised a ticket with them asking to give me a voucher,this eventually came so I immediately went on there site again and booked a hotel for June 21 and used my voucher,this was excepted on line but a message came back that there having trouble with taking the voucher,eventually after retrying 3 times the voucher was excepted and booking confirmed by website.low and behold next day i get email saying I had cancelled the booking,this was not the case so i went back on the OTEL.COM web site and raised 3 further tickets to complain all of which have been close but no action or voucher or refund and guess what i can no longer get on there web site

I have cancelled my booking early march and was told to wait for 6-10 business days for a refund. After a month or so this was changed (due Covid) for another 60 days. I am aware that Covid is a hard hit for the travel industry so I was willing to wait and give them some slack. Now all my online requests/incidents are closed without any reason, no refund has been paid and no way to contact Otel...

We had a booked a hotel in Seychelles that never received the money from Otel, we talked to them on the phone. Otel doesn't repond to our emails and the call center is closed, they don't even have a phone number on their website anymore. We don't seem to find any way to get our money back and we've been trying already for 6 months.. Never booking with them again.

I will never use this website ever again, they are crooks from Turkey who will not refund my holiday money. I had booked hotel in Malta with them that offered free cancellation prior to arrival of 24hrs. Opened ticket to cancel, they offered a voucher but sue to covid I declined. They said I had to wait 60 days as they were busy (probably conning other people). Never heard from them and it is is now over 90 days. I have lost money I can ill afford to do. How is scamming like this possible. I will never travel with them again. What a mistake, forget the cheap prices go for established companies that treat customers as human beings. I HATE YOU OTEL.COM

We booked through this website back in March. This company never made a reservation or pay the hotel. Travel was canceled due to Covid and the company is still trying to take my money. Very fraudulent company.

They cancelled my hotel booking, didn’t even tell me and kept my money ! (Thank goodness I rang the hotel to check all was well before I went! They said the booking company Otel had cancelled it for no reason!)
Absolutely appalling. No one has ever replied to me from Otel since the email confirming my booking on 2 February ! No sign of me ever getting my money back 😢

Don't book any travel with Otel.com, they are very dishonest and will steal your money! In January 2020, I booked a stay at a hotel in Dublin, Ireland for September 2020. As everyone knows, the Covid-19 Virus effectively closed travel to many countries. I attempted to contact Otel.com of Metglobal several times about canceling my reservation or at least give me a voucher to allow me to reschedule my stay at a later date. They never responded with a status to my request. I contacted the hotel in Dublin and they said "I booked through a third party agency and must communicate with Them. I would like to add that Dublin, Ireland was locked-down and remained so through when I had a reservation so I couldn't possible go to Ireland. In early September, Otel.com finally contacted me and said they have reached out to the hotel in Dublin about my request and would notify me with they heard from them. When my scheduled reservation had come and gone, and I still had not heard anything from Otel.com, so I contacted the hotel in Dublin once again. This time they told me that they had cancelled my reservation as I had requested and were not charging me and that I would need to contact Otel.com. I did and told them I had been in contact with the hotel in Dublin, know they cancelled the reservation without charging me and wanted to know the status of my refund. Their response, they deleted my account from their website so I could no longer access my information! Somehow, they apparently feel they should not have to refund anything even though everyone was on lock-down and couldn't travel !!!

Worst firm I had used. No email. Phone number was in turkey with no answer, Facebook blocked it , dispute with American Express, AE could reach this firm but not the end customer, avoid it as it is a fraud.

Never ever use this company Otel.com they cancelled our hotel due to covid19. Waited 6 months for a refund. You can't get through to anyone ever & every email is sent from a do.not.reply address so you can't write back ! We got a voucher that gave us 3 months to use at this time .. we can't go anywhere, everything's locked down, no flights etc !! And their website doesn't accept any date you enter to travel or show any hotel what so ever to use the voucher. So basically they've ripped us off for our £300 . I hope they go bankrupt!

Terrible customer service (in that there is no customer service). Would not issue a cash refund despite the hotel booking being cancelled by the hotel itself, who confirmed to me that had refunded Otel. I have a voucher I cannot use and even had a look on their terrible website today to check if there were any hotels available for which I could use said voucher - not sure if it was my search options (I tried a good few) but not a single result for any. Do not recommend, as with other reviewers, if I could give negative stars, I would. However, with my experience of there being no hotels on their site currently, at least that means they cannot rob anymore people of their money.

Awful service! Six emails, one tweet and one DM on Instagram since August and STILL no response in respect to rescheduling a booking that's due to check in in two weeks! All we want to do is change the dates or get a voucher as we are nervous to travel due to COIVD-19 and zero correspondence from this bunch of Cowboys! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We had to cancel due to Covid 19 and got a voucher back. No I am trying to use this voucher and it is nearly impossible to find a nice hotel (eg at Rome for the period of Oct 31st to No 4th no hotel rooms!)
I wrote an email , no reply. I I wrote a second mail, no reply. I tried to call, phone service not in use...

Thus, even if some euros cheaper offers are there . DO not USE this company

Do not use this hotel booking website , they have no consideration during the pandemic. I booked a hotel in February 2020 for July 2020 and I tried to reach someone about my cancellation thru email before the hotel booking date since there is no phone number on their site but no one ever responded. After a month and a half they responded to my email stating they will not refund me anything, if I new that they have no covid policy in place i would of taken a risk instead of loosing my money.I did not want to be exposed to covid due to a pre existing health condition so i was trying to cancel my booking .

I booked with Otel.com with a free cancellation, I cancelled in March for the booking in June, the site offered free cancellation as my money was taken out of my credit card account I requested a refund. I was offered a voucher but again I requested my money back.
They said payment would be made in 60 days it then went to 90 days as yet I still haven't received a refund and no response to my e mails. The money is gone as far as I can see unethical company

Don't use Otel.com! I contested the charge with my bank because the hotel I booked had no reservation at all when I contacted them. They will tell you to wait closer to your check in date to confirm but it would mean you lose your cancellation window. Never trust this website. It is not US based and will scam you with little to no communication or follow through.
