Surveying made friendly!
I contacted Alastair Newhouse on the recommendation of the estate agent. He wasn't in the office when I phoned so I left my details and the details of the house I am buying with a very efficient receptionist.
Not long afterwards Mr Newhouse phoned me back. Impressively he had done some research on the house before phoning, so right away we could discuss it and the defect on which I needed advice.
Mr Newhouse was knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to, and friendly. He made everything straightforward and simple and provided some down-to-earth advice.
Not all surveying firms are like this, by a long chalk!
