Tried to order direct from Orbesen Teknik but told that they no longer export to private GB citizens due to Brexit rule requirements.....
Update: Orbesen Teknik have now found a solution to sending to private persons in GB.... It seems to work OK!

I had such a good experience with this company that I want to tell everyone about it.
I cannot fault their level of service and customer care. They went out of their way to help. In particular I must mention Vira for her efficient, professional and kind manner in dealing with my request.
Without doubt a shining example that all businesses should aspire to.

The automatic windowopeners are great and the company are really great to deal with.

These greenhouse vents are simply the best in the world. They are very well made, and work silently for years. However, setting them up in some applications can be tricky. I recommend first assembling the device, clamping it to a bench, and heating the cylinder gently (hair dryer). Make note of the action, so become familiar with the spacial requirements. Then temporarily clamp the opener where it will be mounted, to see what modifications might be needed to mount the unit correctly. For sunny locations, you might want to shade the cylinder, so it responds to ambient temperatures, not just to direct sunlight. Cylinder adjustments will be needed for winter use, if you have a true solar greenhouse.

What can I dream more of?

The Univent openers work very well. I have three install for nearly two years now and they perform just fine. The only problem you may have is if the window binds some, and this is easy to take care of and not the problem of the opener.

Excellent reactivity, very good communication and good help with the decision.

installed as per instructions worked great the first day. The next day the bottom of the hydraulic tube blew out - defiantly not worth your time

I bought a large (20x8ft) greenhouse in 2015. When I purchased the greenhouse it came with 8 Univent automatic openers for the 4 double roof “window”The greenhouse and openers were fitted by a professional greenhouse builder. The openers came with a 2 year guarantee I think. Within the 2 year period 2 openers broke but I just put this down to the weather being windy at the time and replaced them. Recently both openers failed on another window ( miracle the window did not break, luckily they are glazed with safety glass). I witnessed the event and got a real fright. It was not windy and I was annoyed more openers had failed again. I contacted the greenhouse people who suggested I contact J. Orbesen Teknik the manufacturer of the openers. I emailed them with photos of the broken openers and immediately got a reply saying that the failures were down to the openers having not been correctly fitted. Despite the openers being well passed their 2 year guarantee period and having been incorrectly fitted,J Orbesen Teknik not only have replaced FOC the broken openers but have sent replacements for all of them as the others may have been weakened due to being incorrectly fitted. I am extremely impressed with company's customer service and product. The Univent openers worked very well prior to breaking due to incorrect installation and the service I received was 1st class. I wish all companies were of the same standard. Well done J. Orbesen Teknik and a big thank you.
