They get paid and cancelled the trip without noticed by email or another way. I had to buy another ticket to Budapest - Vienna and asked to refund.
Until today I am waiting despite all answers that they were working on that.

Don't buy tickets in this company.

I had the same problem. The bus company was a cheap possibility in former times. Some friend recommended me and also in some travel guide from 2009 this company is mentioned.

Unfortunatly this company seems not to drive busses any more! If you buy a ticket from Vienna to e.g. Budapest, the departure is Vienna City Centre. You do not get a confirmation email or so. There is no information about departure places available. Some hours later I got the information that something went wrong during booking. If you look online they write status canceled.

According to a Facebook thread office is not available any more.

Currently the company uses Paypal for payment. That's the good thing for everybody here. You have payment protection. Unfortunatly I opened an issue 1 hour after booking my tickets. 10 hours later orangeways.com refunded the money (but without credit card fees). Seems like they do not want to get troubles with Paypal and just return the money.

Keep in mind Paypal protection is available only for a limited time after payment.

I also wrote the issue to Paypal via complaining formular because orangeways rips off customers. Paypal wrote back that they are not going to verify this (and go on to assist orangeways).

Well, I'm actually not recommending this company to anyone. I was supposed to travel with them, 3 weeks ago, from Budapest to Krakow. One day before the trip was planned, they called me to tell me that the bus is canceled, so I had to find another one in less than 24 hours!!! Luckily, other companies respect their clients, so I managed to arrive in Poland in time. What annoys me more is that I keep calling them and send them e-mails to give me a refund (because they haven't do it so far), and they are not asnwering to them. OrangeWays, when I'll go back to Hungary, I'll definetely go to the consumer's protection to denounce you ;)

Unfortunately, I booked my ticket from Budapest to Prague with orangeways. I reached the bus station 30 mins prior and saw one bus and a bus hostess over there. I showed my ticket to bus hostess and asked if she know anything about it but her answer was 'I don't know' after 15 mins I asked her if she knows anything about bus that will depart for Prague her answer was again 'I don't know' at the exact time when my bus suppose to leave I asked her again if she can give me any contact number from where I can get information then she dialled a number and told me 'the bus got cancelled' but I didn't got any notification. I wrote an email to the officials to explain me the situation why did this happen and they told me that they sent the notification mail 5 days ago but I booked my ticket just 3 days ago that is why I didn't get any notification. That make no sense at all if the given bus were already cancelled why they were still accepting booking for it even after that. Then they told me they will refund my funds in 90 days period. Its over 90 days and I haven't got funds back yet. Its not about the refund but the inconvenience I faced that day, I don't want anyone else to face that. To end the note I will say it is the poorest service that simply just don't care about their business nor the costumer.

Booked tickets were cancelled due to "technical problems" one day before trip. Seems to be standard :-(
To save you from trouble, it´s more convenient to book from another provider right away which is more reliable e.g. flixbus

My friend and I made a reservation to travel from Cracow to Budapest on July 31st this year. Our bus was supposed to depart at 14:30. At 15:15, still no bus. I sent an email to the company, they replied almost instantly and informed me that our bus wouldn't arrive since the line had been canceled, and that they couldn't tell us since our reservation was made on their old system (???). They then sent me the neccessary information to claim a full refund, which I did. Now, a month later, and after three emails from me regarding my refund claim, I still haven't heard from them. No refund, and especially no response at all to my emails. This is utterly unprofessional, and I strongly recommend against using their services.

I want to punish this company and maybe someone know if we need to wrote to the police about this scammers or other way? I was in Budapest few days ago and wanted to visit Wien, I bought a tickets and they send me email that my bus was cancelled in this date but with possibility to change for another date. I wrote them few letters, called them but nobody answered. I'm so angry with this situation and I want to ask all people which also were in similar situation not to keep silent and demand the justice!!!

Just so no one thinks the reviews are just isolated incidents, I booked a bus to croatia and, like many, had the service cancelled at the last minute so had to take the train. No idea if they actually do have any busses, they offered me a journey the next day but I had lost confidence by then. No refund yet, still trying but have written it off. Do NOT be seduced by any discount to travel with these people, just check the internet to see your odds of a happy journey.

After 3 beautiful days in Budapest I was to continue my journey to Krakow, my bus was due at 7, I arrived at 6:15 and was talking to a couple who we're also travelling with Orangeways but to Croatia, their bus was die at 6, by 7 they gave up and left, by 8 their bus nor my bus had yet shown up! I came online and discovered this company is a scam, I luckily got a ticket with Flixbus leaving at 10, still no sign of an orangeways bus. They do have a ticket office, it's "temporarily closed", there are also about 14 contact numbers, I would say 11 of them didn't even ring, the rest rung with no answer! Do not book with this company! Ever!

We booked the OrangeWays bus service on 20th July from Budapest to Zagreb scheduled to depart on 21st. The next day, the bus was supposed to depart from the Budapest Groupama Arena at 6 AM, we waited there from 5:20 AM to until 9:30 AM with my wife and kid in the sun, but that bus never turned up. And there was few passengers waiting for the Prague bus and that bus from Orangeways.com didn’t turn up either. So they went back after 2 hours wait.

Orangeways.com office is at the arena bus stop but no one came to work until 9:30 AM. They had dozen contact numbers listed in their bus stop , approximately 50% of the listed phone numbers are not in use, 2 of the ex-employees spoke, one guy disconnected it and the other guy told us the company is fraudulent company. No one answers rest of the phone numbers. It just rings forever. According to Facebook their call centre opens at 8 AM, but no one responded, when we tried from 7 am to 9:30 AM. Their local office is supposed to open at 9 am in the morning, but from 9 am to 9:30 am no one turned up. Local passers-by who saw us waiting for hours told us that’s a rubbish company. So we searched for them in the internet, internet is full of complaints about what a rubbish service and fraudulent company this was.

Because it was too late to book alternative (Fixbus) service, which was already full. Train journey requires 7 hours and there are no direct flights and most flights are either very expensive or extremely long duration. So we end up paying 450 EUR for the hotel car to drop us at Zagreb.

I can understand if one of the bus got cancelled due to whatever issues they had, but this company doesn’t work, it appears most of their buses gets cancelled. I believe their strategy is to cheat customers who can’t be bothered to ask for a refund and to go via the process of getting a refund.

Anyway I will contact my credit card protection to get this refund. I will do everything possible to get this company reported as scam company. So they can't cheat others and sell a service which they have no intention or capability to offer.

Shame on you Orangeways!!!!! Not showing up on a Sunday in Krakow to the bus station when passangers are waiting today 11.06.2017!!!! Shame on you!!!! At least let the poor passanger know that you are not coming so he can sort out something else....shame on you!!!!

Orangeways is a fake company with fake services. They are ripping people off. Never take them. Already in 2014 a Hungarian court ordered the forceful closure of Orangeways, I am not sure how can they still operate. Also, please note there is an Orangeways victims Facebook page, you can read all the horror stories there.

We've just got the same problem as all these customers mentioned bellow. Folks, be aware of the services you're gonna buy. We are very upset and disappointed about it, it should be a very special weekend for us. It's a real shame that they're still doing it!

Totally renewed company, not the same as before

WARNING, DON'T USE!! The company is fake, the didn't arrive, no notification sent. No one was answering the phone. I had to pay an Uber driver about 200 euro to get me in time for my flight in Budapest.

Fake company. Bus didn't come and no notification; nobody picked up the hotline phone. Trip ruined. Booked a bus from Krakow to Budapest. Price was even slightly higher than polski bus. Take polski bus and stay away from orange ways. Spread the word!

I booked a ticket from zagreb to budapest but this bus did not come without any notice. I wasted my time and money. It really ruined my whole trip. Do not use this bus.
