Good Software But TERRIBLE Support - trying to screw customers

I’ve heard that the software is good for backtesting. But I agree totally on the others reviews that they don’t treat their customers as it should be. As I know the service business since decades, we as a customer paying their salaries.

Even before the subscription their are different discounts, if you subscribe through an affiliate partner. There are misleading information stated that there is a discount but the price does not reflect the discount. At the other page it does.

Be careful because the support is NOT COOPERATIVE and trying to SCREW their customers to pay more, even if you know about other pricings and ask for it.
I would not like to be a customer of a company what is always trying to screw the customers and then try to blame you as a customer for mistakes.

I will for sure look for an alternative.
If the experience changes I’m happy to change my review
,but for now this is my experience and feeling.
Unfortunately already confined by a lot of others.

Dishonest And Unprofessional

Back In November, ONE notified customers about a payment issue with their reseller. Despite following all the steps requested, this reseller refused a refund to me so I had to initiate a chargeback with my card company. As everyone knows, this can take MONTHS to be finalized. The entire time, ONE stated on multiple occasions that a grace period was in place and customers would not be negatively effected while this was all resolved. This was all handled very unprofessionally by ONE and they treated their customers as if we did something wrong when it was solely THEM who selected this vendor.

I finally gave up on this and decided to renew my subscription, against my better judgement, just to log in and find all my 1000+ trades GONE. I emailed them and they said the account was terminated just a couple weeks after the initial notification of the payment processor issue, and all my data was deleted. Did not stand behind their statements of grace periods or working with their customers to resolve this.

Total crooks who do not stand behind their word and treat customers like trash.

OptionNet LLP payment issues

OptionNet LLP markets options analysis software with an annual license fee of 400£. I renewed my license in July through their website.
In November, OptionNet LLP sent me a notice that their payment processor at the time did not forward my money to them and that they ask me to pay again. After I refused because I already paid, my license was terminated retroactively.

The lack of transparency and responsibility

Same as many others here. While OptionNET Explorer itself offers strong features for backtesting and tracking options strategies, the customer service experience has been disappointing. The company’s reliance on third-party vendors has resulted in a frustrating and unresolved issue that has placed the burden of this failure on the customer. The lack of transparency and responsibility for these external issues is concerning, as it undermines the professionalism and reliability of the service.

Beware of OptionNet

Like others here, I have been screwed by OptionNet. They have chosen to make customers pay twice for their software because they can't run their own internal business properly. They will not honor subscriptions. Save your money.

Won't honor paid subscription time

If you can get passed the Windows 3.1 style interface and the clunky method of navigating through the various options expiration cycles, the software is actually not too bad. The underlying math seems to be accurate.

That said, to say that the customer service is bad is to imply that there is any actual customer service. In particular, the payment service ONE uses (Digital River) evidently has withheld payment to ONE (and numerous other merchants). While I can sympathize with ONE since they were screwed over, rather than be responsible and actually SERVE its customers by honoring the paid subscription time, ONE suspended accounts unless you pay for the used time AGAIN. Now, ONE will tell you that you don't have to pay again because YOU can try to get your money back from Digital River or the credit card chargeback process. Well, guess what DR has already said they "can't" (won't) refund me because ONE's account with them has been terminated. So, now ONE is using another no name payment processor which means all this nonsense could happen again in the future. At this point, I'm just glad I didn't prepay for a full year's worth of the software, but I did pay for a quarterly subscription. Lesson learned on my part. The thing is, if they had just honored the paid subscription time, I probably would have continued the subscription. Now they're out the money for the time I used and any future money.

OptionNet Explorer ONE Is Terrible! Total Scam!

AVOID! Optionnet Explorer ONE is a scam and a nightmare to deal with. It's the worst trading and options software I've ever encountered in more than 20 years of trading. The junk software doesn't work or works very poorly, is very old and the customer service is terrible. They are rude and most of all dishonest. Also, this company is not in even the USA...it's actually in the UK yet is selling trading software for the US options market.

Don't believe the influencer paid reviews by trading websites that are fake reviews, written to deceive you and get you to pay money to this unscrupulous company OptionNet Explorer ONE.

I do not recommend even trying this garbage company and software. You'll definitely regret it if you do!
