I've been using Opie Oils since 2009 whenever my vehicles need a service.
As someone who gets hands on with my cars and carries out a lot of service work themselves, Opie provide a simple, easy to use way of locating the correct parts and fluids for any standard production car, motorcycle, or modified/custom vehicle. Their site is also a great place to find out more about the mysterious world of lubrication and is clearly staffed by car people. Can't imagine why you would shop anywhere else?

I,ve ordered oils and filters for my vehicle over the last five years, and has always been a smooth quick and efficient process, items arrive on time & in tact, plus they stock amsoil oil products which I use in my vehicles.not many stock this oil. Its a premium product. Will continue using this company for my motoring needs.

I’ve been a customer of opie oils for quite some time now and they are always my go to company for any auto motive needs especially engine fluids and oils. They have been great with me and even send out freebies to me in my box thanks again opie !! Amazing teams of people and great company

Ordered 3 items on Sunday evening, all 3 items delivered lunchtime today.

The price of oil alone was fantastic value for money, more than £20 cheaper than any other supplier.

Price for other items was competitive.

Highly recommended.

As a local over the last few years was begining to use Opie Oils as a regular outlet for all my motoring needs since they advertise / market a whole range of products these days.

However thats all it's becoming. The website is a marketing to draw you in. Opie is one of the myriad of companies that now advertise and list products on the website that are not actually in stock when you get there despite there being being items as listed as in stock. This is a feature of hundreds of UK company websites now.

NO, I will not buy something online then have to wait three days before despatch when I should be able to just call in and buy the bl**dy thing.

DONT ADVERTISE THINGS YOU HAVEN'T GOT, or keep your website inventory regularly updated and linked to purchases and stock levels.

My last three trips to the customer desk have been a waste of time. It's a bit galling to be told we don't have it in stock but we can order it in ! Why not just trade as an online company then for these items.
Has proper shopping become an ancient past time.

Ordered oil on Thursday, arrived Friday but had leaked in transit. Contacted customer service and replacement sent and arrived Saturday. Fantastic customer service and competitive prices, highly recommend.

Excellent service just purchased 2 X 5 ltrs of Valvoline Vr1. Not only was the price super competitive but they arrived next day on free delivery . Have used before and will again

Great company, with customer service that all companies should strive for.
There is a good choice of oils and service parts on their site. I have emailed them in the past, and found them quick to respond with useful information.
Without going into specifics, I recently emailed the company with a problem (compounded with me making the issue worse), and with equal fault on my part, I honestly didn't expect anything other to let them know of the issue, but I got a phone call from them the next day with an apology, and a very generous offer to rectify the problem, which was far more than I expected of them.

So, whilst I am used to shopping in a bricks and mortar store, Opie make a strong case to use online specialists like themselves, and I couldn't recommend them more, I'll definitely be shopping there again in future

I ordered a 4 litre can of 0W40 Mobil 1 and an oil filter for BMW E92 coupe.
Both arrived in good time but when I came around to open the filter box it clearly was incorrect.
Now I know I didn't fully check what was inside the box but as a regular user of this organisation I trusted them.
I will have to think twice in future for anything other that oil.
Update
Following a telephone call from the customer service department the respondent claimed that for my vehicle there were indeed 2 types of oil filter and clearly, after looking at the pictures that I sent them, I had received the wrong one.
Not sure how this could be avoided in the future other than by stating the dimensions of the filters on the website or by referencing the chassis number, Nevertheless I accepted their apology in return for the correct filter. I have deducted one star simply because of the hassle involved and the fact that in order to attend an appointment the following day, I had to trudge over to the other side of town in 30 degrees of heat to buy a replacement.

Always hold good stock of oil and service parts

Charge for postage and then take 5 days to dispatch,, and even then it's been a further 2 days and royal mail are still waiting for the parcel from you ! Ever other company I use , post out with in a day or 2 ,, and arrive with in 3 to 4 days ,,, 6 days and you haven't even dispatched the item ! Shocking company!

Received a leaking bottle of oil was damaged in transit. A replacement was sent out next day . Great service.

I have Used Opie oils a few times now both times customer service has been excellent. There had been a small problem with delivery due to a shipping error but customer services did their upmost to rectify and accept responsibility. Products are widely available elsewhere, however I would always return back to this site as the service is exceptional in my experience and knowledge of the product really helps with is the specialist cars?

Opie oils have never let me down, ran out of oil due to the sensor breaking. Opie oil pulled out all the stops to get a top up to me within 24hrs. Thank you!

Great company, good prices and good products, would be 5 stars but for your shipping options and preferred shipping company (FedEx). Having FedEx as your cheapest option at £6 is really uncompetitive pricing and FedEx are probably the worst option of all logistics companies in the U.K. TRULY TERRIBLE, ordered Tuesday (am) and won’t be delivered until Friday, was delayed by FedEx (as per usual) by 24hrs with no explanation, for £6 I would expect a properly reliable “express” service.Opie’s association and continued use of them would directly impact my decision to buy from you again.
