Nice services
The ultra mega best service to upload your files!
The best service to upload your files & 100% verbatim, giving you really 5gb, a nice space so you can organize your files, and each & everything from this website is good! It helps me with my projects a lot, especially when i need a place where there is no pop-ups telling you to spend money on it, nuh uh, OpenDrive? it does better than you think! It is very clear in the GUI, very simple and fast to login, instead of using the boring system of "Login with Google" that can give you a headache, it just needs your email, and your first & last name, very simple and awesome for people who hate having problems with Google services! 10/10!
Best of the best
Great Unlimited Cloud Storage Solution
I’ve had a great experience with OpenDrive. The unlimited storage gives me peace of mind, and the syncing works reliably across my devices. The interface is simple, pricing is straightforward, and overall it offers excellent value for the space you get. Highly recommended!
It's very good.
Tested Free Plan only.
Tested Free Plan only.
Works if you need to upload\download 100kb .txt files from time to time.
Other than that, speed is absurdly slow for todays standards.
Dead simple to use and light on your system
I saw a review in PCMag and decided to give open drive a try.
The process to set up a folder backup is quite simple.
I just found my new favorite backup solution.
The pricing is very reasonable too!
Might be fast enough in the US but too slow outside the US. Software isn't finished yet.
Pros:
1. Extremely good customer service which gives clear and constructive answers within 24 hours.
2. If you wish to cancel your subscription simply send them an email and the remaining days of your subscription will be paid back to you.
3. Very clear and logic interface on both Windows desktop and Android apps and web page.
4. This is the only cloud storage I found so far which has major backup solutions and similar backup features such as AOMEI and Acronis: one-way sync, two-way sinc and backup. All can be set on certain days, times, continuously, or manually or when you start up your pc and automatically log in to the Windows desktop software.
5. Choosing the drives (including external and cloud based drives), folders and files you wish to back up is extremely easy.
6. Recovery of backupped data (complete drives, folders and files) is also extremely easy. The data can be recovered to any place you wish including internal, external and cloud-based drives.
7. Cheap and simple subscription structure.
Cons:
Unfortunately, OpenDrive looks like someone in the past created an almost perfect cloud storage solution but didn't finish it.
1. Windows:
- The Windows Desktop client has a simple and logic interface but when you right-click your mouse most Windows features in the menu are missing.
- Other Windows features are also missing such as some viewing options, eg. details + thumbnails.
2. Android:
- Office and pdf documents have to be downloaded to your phone before you can see them.
- Images can only be displayed in small icons which is useless for searching through your camera photos and videos.
- In your file manager (any app) you can transfer your files to cloud storage by simply checking 'share' and your cloud storage app. For some strange reason, OpenDrive doesn't appear in the list of apps. Hence, the only way to transfer your phone files to OpenDrive is to open the OpenDrive app and add the files to OpenDrive. This is cumbersome and illogical.
- OpenDrive isn't integrated in the most used 'Files by Google app'. It doesn't appear under 'Other storage' but other major cloud storage apps appear such as pCloud, kDrive (from Swiss-based Infomaniak) and, of course, Google Drive.
3. Most important for users outside the US: OpenDrive has extremely low upload speeds because it only has servers in the US. Therefore, OpenDrive is only fast enough for users in the US but too slow elsewhere outside the US.
To summarise, OpenDrive could easily be the number one cloud storage, especially concerning the great backup features such as one-way and two-way sinc.
Unfortunately, the software isn't finished yet (eg. bad integration with Windows and Android) and upload speeds are too slow for users outside the US.
However, customer service informed me that in 2026 OpenDrive will open a server in Amsterdam. That's great news because European privacy laws are much stricter than those in the US. Moreover, hopefully with a server in Amsterdam speeds will dramatically enhance.
If the software is also improved, OpenDrive will be one of the top cloud storage solutions and might even beat my favourite cloud storage pCloud.

My images stopped showing in the site i used them one day and i didnt know why.
Then i discovered that the site has a 'download' space wich caps your images from showing after some exibitions.

A good service
Webdav ?
The service itself works well when accessed through a browser, but when using Webdav I always get authentication refused, so Webdav is unusable.
