Opel customer care in Ireland don’t care about customers. There was an issue with the Ad Blue on my Opel van which I had to get turned off by my mechanic as it was a major problem not just with Opel but many other manufacturers. I had a recall for my camshaft chain so when I brought my van to my local Opel dealer they said they had to do a software update which would mean the Ad Blue would be reactivated so I asked them to turn off the Ad Blue if the update put it on and they refused. So I could not get the camshaft chain sorted. So two issues not of my own making cannot be sorted ! Disgraceful lack of any sort of interest, care or professionalism.
Stay away from Opel! Frequent technical issues with the engine, turbo, and more. Service is terrible and always looking for excuses to avoid honoring the warranty. I’ve already lost two cars within just five years of purchase due to engine failures. Not just 1/5 , but -5/5 stars
I bought a brand new Opel Movano and within a short time, the engine had a major fault (motor damage). The vehicle is still under warranty, but I am not being offered any replacement vehicle while repairs are pending.
As a self-employed business owner, this has caused me serious financial losses. Opel's customer service is completely unresponsive and careless. I am deeply disappointed in the quality and after-sales support.

Needed a Certificate of Conformity to transfer Meriva from Ireland to UK. Spoke to Customer Care and they asked me to send an email. Took 15 days to get a response asking for copy of registration document and proof of address. Had given up by this time and had to pay to receive one in 3 days from an independent company.
Opel Ireland, Astra Elegance Brand new Jan 24, heated seats and steering never worked . Left in for service hoping it would be quick fix . 5 months later still not resolved , been in and out for 33 days. This has not been a good experience and speaks volumes if they can’t fix this , hate to have a bigger problem.

In 2019, I purchased an Opel Astra brand vehicle with great enthusiasm, only to be deeply disappointed a few years later when the paint on the roof started peeling off. The primer underneath is clearly visible without any external damage, proving that there was a flaw in the manufacturing and painting process.
However, the biggest disappointment has been the company’s refusal to take responsibility for their mistake, citing the expiration of the warranty as an excuse. While the warranty may have expired, this does not change the fact that this issue stems from a manufacturing defect. The company’s unwillingness to address the problem and provide a solution is unacceptable.
In addition to the financial loss I have incurred, the frustration and disappointment I feel cannot be overstated. My trust in Opel brand has been completely shattered. I will never consider purchasing another vehicle from this brand again, and I will make sure to warn everyone I know about this experience.
Opel brand has proven itself to be a company that abandons its customers and fails to live up to its claims of quality. If you are considering buying an Opel brand vehicle, I strongly urge you to think twice!
Whatever you do, don’t buy an Opel van, they are literally the worst built van on the road today. From problems with the anti pollution system down the the frame being made out of paper mache. I have a 21 plate Opel movano and it has broken down three or four times already. This all happens perfectly in time with there warranty to run out and then they ask for thousands to fix the issue even though it’s a few hundred max. I’m currently still paying off the van and the engine has failed. They’re a joke of a manufacturer and I’d advise anyone to stay clear. Buy an old van and it’ll last ten times longer than the new versions. Heap of dirt
i purchased opel corsa 2024 i got delivered less options than the promoted GS car (no metal pedals) they were replaced with the Edition version (plastique pedals)

Do not purchase a Grandland X 1.2 Turbo as they have a wet belt fault. Our car has less than 45k miles, full service history, car went into limp mode and stopped. €6500 to have car repaired. Avoid at all costs.

I cannot get the car I purchased from them back home because they refuse to file basic documentation for export out of the EU. 21000 EUR for a car I cannot get. They flat out refuse to do anything.
We bought brand new Opel Grandland X 2022 in Aug 2022 and the infotainment display stopped working in Feb 2023. The car has 5 year warranty however almost a year later it is still not fixed. The official service place and parts distributors in Bulgaria were less than helpful, we are still waiting for the part to be delivered. I've contacted the official Opel support center and 6 months later I've got no response. The experience with our Opel car has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing.
I've been riding an Opel astra gtc 2013 for more than two years,bought a used one,with a mileage of 20 thousand,now the mileage is 70 thousand,I can say that this is a great car that is just incredibly controlled,I don't like the work of the box a little,but I think it's just a matter of a small repair,otherwise an excellent car
I have been driving Opel Insignia Automatic Diesel in the last 8 months, and I can say that up to now I am very satisfied. The driving on highway is a real pleasure, and driving in city is also pretty decent.
The level of equipment is also very good.
I have driving experience with premium german brands, and this car is comparable to them for much lower price.
