Not worth a panny. Bought a “reconditioned” engine from…

Baught a “reconditioned” engine from this company (08/2025, 6 months warranty).

The engine failed after a very short period of actual use. The car was not even driven for the full warranty period, as it spent time off the road during installation and repairs.

After inspection, there were metal shavings in the oil system and clear signs of excessive crankshaft movement. My mechanic confirmed failure of the thrust bearing (thrust washers), which should have been replaced during a proper rebuild.

This points to poor or incomplete reconditioning, not lack of maintenance.

Very disappointed. I would not recommend
