Joe the company owner is a really lovely professional, him and his company helped me move my flat. I was very stressed and Joe was very agile with his communication and making my very last minute request work which was amazing. They moved my flat in under an hour. Honestly a great service, lovely positive and professional attitude which I so appreciated.

Joe and his team at One Removal made our move a stress free and smooth experience. They were all exceptionally helpful, friendly and trustworthy. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful for all of their help.

Oneremoval inspired confidence from our first meeting with Joe. They responded quickly to requests for information, advice and boxes. Lynne was especially helpful. Joe, Jake, and their team helped us a lot on the day as weren't completely ready. They unloaded without us, consulting remotely and did a great job. We were very glad that we could rely on Oneremoval.

From the first contact with One Removals, I felt in good hands. Nothing was too much trouble, dealt with in the most friendly but professional way, by Lynne in the office. Remarkably efficient, Scott wrapped and packed everything carefully. The day of the move couldn’t have gone better. Joe and Scott had everything in my new home, ready for me to unpack at my own pace. They are coming back to remove the packing boxes as well!

Fantastic serivce. It was easy enough to book the move in as well as the home survey with the office staff. The 5 men who arrived to carry out my move were incredible and as a whole this removal company was a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic experience from start to finish.

We had one of the company surveyors visit our family home to assess the move requirements. His name was Joe and he was a very likable young man who we thought was very thorough when creating our inventory. On the day of the move the team was punctual, polite and clearly very experienced.

I should also give praise to Lynne in the office as we bombarded her with pre move questions and she was very helpful and quick at responding back to us - if you happen to read this sorry for bombarding you Lynne!

We moved on 31/3/2021 - they were very nice people, or so we thought, but things went wrong on the day - the van was too small and we had an anxious time as everyone had completed, people waiting to move in, we had a long drive to our new home and had to wait for another van to arrive.

On arrival, the vans were unloaded and furniture and boxes put where we directed, furniture and bed reassembled and they left.

We realised after a few days that some of our things were missing, we asked about them and were told that lots of people say that but eventually turn up.

A month went by, still no sign of the things and the upsetting part is that some items were my, late father’s.

Two months went by and we started to talk about a claim. I was asked to add up the value but before anything, Joe offered to go to our old house to see if by any chance things were left behind as there was no logical explanation of why our things had gone missing.

Fast forward to now, no one answered my e mails, no forms were sent to claim on the insurance, absolutely nothing at all.

Our missing things? Never turned up, I’m not talking about small things -

A parcel trolley on wheels
A commercial battery charger
A socket set
A pop up tent
2 x axle stands
Spanner’s
2 x chair umbrellas

We also had items that had been broken, again, nothing was replaced, no insurance form, no contact, nothing.

I did tell Joe that I wouldn’t write a review to give them a chance to sort it out, I tried again recently to contact him, not heard anything.

All in all, and having read the other negative review, I would not recommend them as they talk the talk, but when it comes to any claims, you are certainly not covered and they don’t want to know

Hassle free move with a friendly, quick and efficient team! Vehicles used were all well kept and clean. The team were clearly experienced, overall personally my experience has been faultless.

I did the mistake of hiring AnyVans for my removal, didn't have much but one of the items was a 65" OLED TV, and despite adding as much insurance and add-ons available as possible, the removal team bailed out and didn't touch my TV saying that the insurance won't cover. With 2 days remaining to return the keys, found One Removal, and the difference was staggering, they came with proper equipments, removed it from the mound, moved and installed in the new place. Everything sorted in 1 hour. I strongly recommend One Removal.

We were really pleased with the on-the-day removals service from Joe and the team. Everyone was super friendly - no one seemed to mind the kids hanging around and asking questions! - but also super efficient. They didn’t stop the whole time they were with us.
Particularly impressed by Luciano who assembled all the beds quickly and efficiently and who I overheard telling another member of the team to remember to wash his hands before moving the mattress. Really attentive and respectful of our belongings.
Also a big shout out to Lynne in the admin team who was probably the reason we got a removals slot in among a really chaotic time when our exchange and completion dates kept slipping. Thank you to all the team, great job.

** PLEASE READ THE SMALL PRINT IN THE T&C's BEFORE HIRING THIS, OR ANY, REMOVALS COMPANY **

- Insurance small print:
Whilst the BIG print stated that our belongings were insured to the sum of 60k, the small print (section 9.2 - Limited Liability) has the following limitation:

"in the event of loss or damage to your goods caused by negligence or breach of contract on our part, our liability to you is to be assessed as a sum equivalent to the cost of their repair or replacement, taking into account their age and condition immediately prior to their loss or damage, subject to a maximum liability of 40 per item"

I should have read the T&Cs before hiring this removals company, my gym trainers would cost me more to replace than 40.

Further, OneRemovals granted us an extension to the standard 7 day deadline to report damages to them. However, the insurance policy OneRemovals have sent us to fill out does not appear to permit this (even though it is permitted within the small print of OneRemovals T&Cs - section 12.4).

We used OneRemovals (based within Raynes Park - our contact was Joe) in May 2021 to to professionally pack and move our belongings as we relocated from Merton to Hampshire. We have had a heartbreaking experience with them.

Below are some examples (with photos) of our experience.

- Baby clothing was used as packaging material.
Clothing belonging to my 4m old baby was used to package some of our fragile items (instead of using bubble wrap / paper). As a result, we suffered some breakages (one can be seen in the photo attached - that's my Grandmothers 100y old china tea set). My daughters baby blankets and bath towels were also used to wrap glass tea light holders.

- Belongings not left in the correct rooms.
Our belongings were piled into the garage until it was so full, we couldn't open the internal garage door to get to anything. We had hired OneRemovals on the basis that they would leave our boxes in specific rooms. I believe they left our belongings in the garage so they could finish the job as quickly as possible. We had agreed the removals team would video call, to walk us around the house to check our belongings had been left in the correct place, before they left our property. We did not receive any such call.

- Our new home was left unlocked.
The team had posted our keys through the front door before they left. When we arrived, we had to move a heavy plant pot out the way of our garage before we could open it, we then realised this was because they hadn't locked it before they'd posted our keys (and they couldn't access the house from the garage anymore due to boxes).

- Items in wrong location caused great distress:
Our children didn't have their duvets for the first 3 nights in our new home as these left in our garage. Our 4m old baby didn't have his crib either as parts of it were left buried in the garage (it wasn't reassembled as promised either).

- Our furniture wasn't re-assembled.
We were told all furniture would be re-assembled at the new property. 5x beds were disassembled, only 3x were reassembled at our new home.

- A lack of respect for belongings:
The mattress to my sons crib was placed on the floor of our garage and used to stand my husbands keyboard on its side on the floor (see photo).

4x (expensive) Sonos speakers were placed in a box with footballs, fresh from our garden. There was also a fragile glass clock (no wrapping or packaging at all).

The leg was torn off one of our stools.

In our new home, they broke a light fitting (then simply placed it to one side - no note to tell us what had happened).

We were quoted for 3 vans, only 2 vans arrived (they did send for the extra van in a panic towards the end of the day).

To their credit, OneRemovals did send 2x people back to sort things out (1x an employee, 1x was his neighbour). They did sort the garage and repacked the items that had used my baby's clothing. They glued the leg back on our stool.

However, it doesn't look like we've been insured for the damages we've incurred (or the stress!)

Will highly recommend to anyone, fantastic from start to finish!

Thank you very much to all your team who helped my parents move recently. They really did go above and beyond. They packed for them, removed unwanted items and helped them in every aspect that they could. It was a particularly hard and stressful move for them, given their age and the fact that they had been in their house such a long time and were downsizing. Your staff were extremely helpful, sensitive and kind, as well as quick, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending One Removal again.

Fantastic service! I was really impressed with the professionalism and expertise this company demonstrated. I booked their services to move my 3 bedroom house from Wimbledon, London to Frankfurt, Germany and they did not disappoint! They went above and beyond keeping me updated the whole way through and all my belonging arrived in immaculate condition, which was especially important as most of my furniture are antiques. Thank you very much. I would recommend to anyone who needs to move.

Wayne and Ollie from One Removal were amazing! Professional, super friendly and nothing was an issue even though we had a very awkward 1st floor flat (no lift) and lots of heavy boxes and bulky furniture! We will definitely use them for our next move and will recommend to everyone we know!

Was quoted double by a larger firm but one removal gave me a fantastic quote. We had a 3 bed house to move and they moved it within a day. we packed our boxes as we heard pleanty of stories about other companies but we were delighted to have no breakages, no damage and no items missing. They helped assemble and disassemble larger items for us which was such a godsend!! Just a stress free move!! Would 100% recommend.
