I paid off my credit card in full about $600. The lady that worked for this company over the phone told me that my card would be able to use once the payment posted four days later I called them and they say my account is closed. They say they sent me a letter, but I never received one. Merrick bank has always been shady, and I’m happy. The account is closed. I’d rather just build my credit to get a more reputable credit card. Just get a secured card through your bank and build your credit. It’s not worth the stress or hassle to get this card.
