BANANA BRIGHT VIT C SERRUM: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I applied Friday afternoon and woke up on Saturday with extrreme reaction. Face bright red and burning. Eyelids all puffed and could hardly open. Took anti-histamines, cold compresses and ibufrofen with no effect. I had to book an emergency DR appointment on the Sunday and was prescribed oral prednisolone ( steroid) which is helping with symptoms. I have never had a skin reaction like this and I have never taken oral steroids before ( I'm am 47). Its now 4 days and still have red and score skin.
I have seen on the USA Sephora site that this product has over 30 reviews with similar reactions - this should not be sold. My whole weekend was ruined and had to cancel a party that I was hosting. Be careful

I actually purchased my set Brightening gel creme, eye creme, truth juice daily cleanse, daily cleanser dried my face, this is used like say soap and water, the brightening gel has made my face look like a very ripe tomato, I am absolutely mortified. But I doubt Boots will accept responsibility. Although I will complain to them the three products were around £60.

Every time when there is sale or this last black friday free retinol serum for orders above some price orders are never shipped. I made 3 orders 2 that qualified for the serum and 1 that was made a week alter and didnt qualified and guess what only that one was sent. Their customer support was fooling me around dont worry up to 10 business days , then give us another 2 days and now i just got notice that i will be refunded so no way you will get anything free or discounted and its the second time it happens. Also they didnt psoted my review on their site

Terrible customer service. Just keep reading the rest of the reviews and you'll see similar complaints. You can't cancel or change your shipping address or make any changes after you've ordered. I accidentally shipped my wife's Christmas gift to work and our mailroom is going to be closed soon for the holidays. All you get is AI replies and even when you escalate to what may be a human, they will tell you there's nothing they can do. If I could give them a zero, I would.

Terrible customer service. When I placed an order, I was never given an opportunity to enter the discount code. When I emailed them, I got an automated response that they were unable to give me the discount after the order and it was also not possible to cancel the order I placed 2 hours earlier. If you try to call the customer service number, you are put on hold briefly before your call is disconnected.

Stay away from these products if you have sensitive skin. I Used the vitamin C range once and my whole face swelled up with an allergic reaction. Very strong orange perfume added. Took a week on antibiotics and a steroid cream to get it under control.

I got zero help with missing order. Scammers

I recently ordered 5 truth collagen serums from their website for my sister. She didn’t want the products anymore so I decided to cancel my order. Surprisingly I couldn’t cancel it on their website. I reached out to them and they refused to cancel my order telling me that they are still processing it. They are very dishonest people. No one should buy from them. Poor customer service. I am just sad that I didn’t check their reviews before purchasing those products. I would have not ordered those serums . I am asking for a refund and I will post these reviews everywhere.

My skin is dry but not sensitive. I thought I'd treat myself to ole henriksen. Purple cream, purple oil and the orange lip gloss.

Lip gloss is lovely a little sticky but goes on nice and is moisturising.

The purple oil is very oily, greasy and sits on the skin doesn't absorb even the smallest amount doesn't absorb.

Now for the purple cream. It's so thick and the fragrance is overpowering, i put the cream on my forehead first as a patch test. Left it on 20 mins, didn't feel any burning itching etc. however when I looked in the mirror my forehead was bright red, I could literally see where I had stopped using the cream.
A few days later thought I'll give it another go. Same thing happened. Had to rinse it off and the rash faded. Not a good product at all.

They won't send samples. Local stores don't carry any products or samples. Went on their website and ended up placing an order by mistake and called immediately to cancel. They refuse to cancel and say send it back for a refund. Shady business and customer service is a joke. Wanted to give them a try but now will never consider them if they were the best product out there.

The eye cream for this brand has caused me to have severe allergic reactions!!!
I have been to medics on countless occasions until figuring it was these products that caused me to have these reactions.
I am now under investigation for allergies and the damage this has caused to my skin is terrible.
I cannot wear makeup now or anything on my face since using these products as my skin has become so sensitive.
And it’s safe to say it has completely knocked my confidence I no longer want to go out anywhere an enjoy myself as my face is such a mess right now.
It had caused me to have time off work resulting in loss of money.
Allergic reactions are so dangerous and can be fatal in extreme cases.

Please before you purchase these products think and test them beforehand not worth purchasing and damaging your face.

The cream used was the OLEHENRIKSEN banana bright+ eye cream

Terrible customer service, awful returns experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

I ordered the banana bright under eye cream from Ole Henriksen last year and it gave me a severe allergic reaction under my eyes. They were red, swollen, flakey, sore & itchy! I stopped using it immediately and got medical advice. Although I couldn’t be 100% sure it was from this product, I had my suspicions as it was something new I had been using as part of my skincare routine.

A few days ago I thought I’d try the under eye banana bright stick from Ole Henrikson and I’ve woken up today with yet another severe reaction. I have red swollen under eyes, it’s sore, itchy and it burns. I also have hives (lumps) on my eyelids. I can only now presume that this is from their products.

I have emailed the company with my issue but am yet to receive a response.

It looks like there may have been a law suit in America back in 2020 against the company for this exact reason.

How can they continue to sell this product when it produces these adverse affects? What ingredients are causing these affects? What do they test these products on before release?

Very dissatisfied to have spent quite a bit of money on these products, only to find out that thousands around the world are in the same situation.

When will this be enough!?

They don't inform on changes fir shipping. Before I had no problem they shipped from Netherlands and to Spain in EU. Now it seems they shipped from UK and it has been horrible trying to get my order pass customs. They ask for invoice and although I requested one I don't have any answer. I only have the processed order that is not valid as invoice.

For the first few weeks of using Ole Henriksen ~ truth serum, C rush brightening Creme, banana bright eye cream and the suncream I found these products amazing, my boyfriend turned around to me on one of the first days and was like wow you're glowing (for a man very unusual- especially a farmer). However after about a month my skin is now coming up with a rash around my mouth and cheeks and is very dry, I havent changed anything else in my day to day life apart from starting with these skin care products so I'm not sure if maybe they are reacting with My skin. It's such a shame because I do love the products but am now scared to keep using incase this is what is making my skin bad (it's never been this bad before) I'm turning 25 soon so started using them as I'm getting to the age I thought I should start looking after my skin.

I used the Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 5% Acid Firming Night Crème. It was a nightmare.
I began by testing a small amount and it felt pretty strong and caused a bit of redness. I enquired about this at Sephora where I bought it and was told that was normal and to limit use to 1-2 a week for a while. Second time I used it was 2 weeks later and I developed a severe rash. So bad I ended up in hospital and was give antihistamines, steroids and after 6 hours of burning they actually gave me adrenaline.
It was awful. I do have reasonably sensitive skin but have never experienced anything like this in my life. I also use the Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturiser Deluxe with no issues so felt reasonably secure.
I wish I had been able to return the product to Sephora. I took photos and have the medical confirmation of the experience.
Please tread extremely carefully with this product. it was a horror show.

I just had a great experience with the customer service team. I was worried that I was going to have an issue because of the negative reviews, but the associate I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful with my request! I reached out to them yesterday (Sunday) when customer service isn't available and the associate responded to me this morning which was quick!

Thei product caused allergic reaction on my eyes and face, made my eyes very swollen and painful.I had horrible dermatitis for weeks. Will never use their product again!
After reporting it to customerservice@ I was offered an e-gift card as a compensation. As I bought the product abroad and at the airport I couldn't return it anymore. Olehenriksen didn't want to refund it either, but at least they offered USD gift card. I said "offered" because I never received it! It's been 3 months of going back and forth with them, saying they have sent it but I never received anything and now they stopped replying. Appalling customer service and horrible company who doesn't give a d*** about their customers.

Placed order, two weeks later still not shipped. Reached out to customer service, was told oh yea that happens you should just reorder. What is that. No apologies, just oh yea that happens, just reorder. Terrible customer service, lost a customer today.

I made a purchase last month from their website. It was so risky for me because of bad reviews in trustpoilot, but I decide to trust them for the first time and I can say everything was perfect. It took 2 weeks for delivering to Italy. I think it is rationale.Even one of my packages was returned as I was not home and they refunded me as soon as I notified them.
