I was utmost happy and motivated when I have seen that oeko-tex has a listing of certified products. Wow! Great idea. So I want to buy some good sports trousers, oeko-tex certified. click on the website and it is horribly complicated and results in nothing but pages full of enterprises. helps me nothing. if Google and Amazon would be this inefficient in their search offered, they would have bankrupted many years ago already. But, having praised them, specifically for searching Oekotex certified products, they are both really bad. It would be very helpful to have a proper search for that. Google finds all sorts of pages on which Ökotex is mentioned In an unrelated fashion, for example at the bottom of the page. Amazon has very few Öko-tex products.
And, if not useful for finding products, I tried at least to find out what on earth they really test. which toxins do they identify or what do they really do? no information at all!!! This was really disappointing. I was expecting an up-to-date listing that they test for say 101 differdent toxins, lindan, lead, arsenic etc. Nothing concrete just endless flows of blah blah. maybe this information is hidden somewhere so that nobody can find it??
Apart from this I want to give not 5 stars but 100 for the great idea that such a thing like oeko-tex exists at all. But please fix the 2 points above and I would be so so so happy to give you my best trsutpilot review because I love the idea of oeko-tex.
