Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 230 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found the customer service to be unprofessional and unhelpful, often struggling to get assistance or reach a real person. Customers frequently encountered issues with high prices for tickets, snacks, and merchandise, feeling that costs were excessive and often inconsistent with advertised rates. The overall service and product experience was often disappointing, with problems like non-working gift cards, cold auditoriums, and others occupying purchased seats. However, some people mentioned positive interactions with staff, describing them as polite, professional, and very helpful in specific situations. A few other people also felt that the cinema environment itself was lovely and cosy, appreciating perks and accessibility features like subtitle glasses.

Morally abhorrent

Odeon cinemas are cynically and purposefully making the cancellation of MyLimitless an extremely difficult task in order to make money. It took 7 months for them to cancel my membership after requesting. They continued to take my money for 7 months and when I raised a complaint, I was promised a refund. That refund was promised to me in January and it is now March with no refund in sight despite numerous emails being sent to chase it up. I've been directly lied to by their customer services team about somebody leaving me a voicemail, that never happened. I'm shocked that a company of this size can treat their customers so appallingly and there is no accountability or repercussion. I'll be voting with my feet in future and taking my custom elsewhere - this is extremely brand damaging and I'm surprised their leadership team condones & obviously actively encourages this behaviour, especially given the difficult trading conditions right now.

We went Odeon Leicester several times…

We went Odeon Leicester several times to watch movies especially Mollywood movies. The very good thing is there car parking is in vast area with so many parking spaces. The other very important thing is 4 hours free car parking. So we can watch the movie with calm and relaxed mood without making any hurry. That's huge help to Bollywood, Mollywood,Kollywood like Indian language movie viewers because the running time of movie itself that's the length of movie between 2.45-3.0.hours. Then not only that there are a large variety of Indian language movie comes with large number of showtimes in Odeon Leicester. The Theatre are very spacious and the recliner chairs are very comfortable and wide so we'll watch movie like in bed. And the ticket prices are only very reasonable. The distance between rows are spacious so viewers can pass easily without any obstruction or problems.
The staffs are very cooperative and very helpful. So they help the viewers very much. Then the washroom are very clean. And there's a Nando's restaurant nearby. So we can enjoy food also.
Anyway we are totally and very much enjoying watching movies there.

Odeon limitless trying to cancel

Odeon limitless - worst customer service ever . I accidentally bought limitless cards for myself and husband instead of limitless plus - cancelled within 2 weeks without using them to try and upgrade . Constant emailing and using chat to try and get refunded emails not answered and when eventually answered still not refunded . Was told would happen , in meantime my credit card was stolen and trying to explain on a chat about this was told still fine as could pay into account - now been / months , no refund still haven’t used cards and getting no answer . For a company the size of Odeon I expect better service than this . I’ve also bought these cards as gifts for my daughters . Won’t buy again and will switch to other cinemas. I’m not sure how in this day and age a company this size can get away with this .

Ridiculously Loud

Went to watch a film and could not believe how loud it was! I literally had my fingers shoved in my ears throughout the entire film (and adverts). It was either that or leave.

It was the film "I Swear" about the life of a man with Tourette's syndrome. It wasn't any kind of noisy action film, yet was painfully loud throughout, even during just standard dialogue - I can only imagine how loud Marvel films would be at this cinema!

Pretty sure it was loud enough to damage hearing, so won't be going back again.

Impossible to contact anyone at Odeon when you have a problem

I drove to see a film at Odeon Derby, which is up to an hour each way from home, and I was silly enough to leave a jumper behind in the cinema. There is absolutely NO way to contact anyone. You cannot email, phone, use a chatbot. Nothing. I will be back in Derby in a couple of days and will call in, but what appalling lack of customer care that it is impossible to speak to anyone. They give a phone number, but that just refers you to the web site which does not help at all as there is no chat or web link. Dreadful customer service (pity as the film was good)

From regular to Never again

I’d like to add my voice to the dissatisfaction being seen from everyone regarding Limitless. You are not able to cancel membership via their app or online, so they force you to email. I emailed on 1st February. Zero response. Another email on 10th. No response. They only emailed me on 9th March *after* a second payment was taken. And that was advising that there had been delays and that it’s quicker to message on social media!! So I message on every social media I had…and eventually got a response following my account, refunding only one of the payments (as per their terms) but saying they have to *call* me to get my card details for the refund. No specified time and “it might be delayed” So I have no idea what happens now if I happen to miss the call. I dread to think how many people have been stolen from by this company, especially those who are vulnerable and less aware of their finances.

I love the Odeon cinema near me and…

I love the Odeon cinema near me and have been a Limitless subscriber for several years. Good experience overall.

BUT when I try to cancel to save a few quid it’s almost impossible to find out how from the app or from the website. Turns out you need to send an email - in the year 2026 they haven’t implemented a sensible cancellation flow!
To overcome the fact that you need to email and the response times are terrible, they hide behind some clause that says you need to cancel with more than 30 days notice.

I had planned to resubscribe as soon as I had more free time, but I think I’ll not bother until these guys have implemented proper subscription management process

Poor Customer Service

I contacted ODEON on 19 February 2026 to cancel my membership, but I still haven't received any proper response. The only thing they did was create a ticket on the day I submitted the request. Since then, I have sent several follow-up emails and received no meaningful reply.

Their customer service is extremely poor. It is almost impossible to reach a live agent, and their support system seems completely unresponsive.

What makes the situation even worse is their website interface. It is very poorly designed and does not allow users to easily cancel their membership. A service that charges customers monthly should provide a clear and functional way to manage or cancel subscriptions.

If ODEON delays my cancellation further and charges me another month due to their own failure to respond, I will consider taking further action.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience and the customer support quality is far below what you would expect from a company of this size.

⭐☆☆☆☆

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Very Poor Customer Service

I requested to cancel my Odeon membership on 19 February, but weeks later I have still received no response at all from customer support.

This left me in a position where I had to block the payments through my bank to prevent further charges. Customers should not have to take this kind of action simply to cancel a membership.

What is most concerning is the lack of communication. A simple confirmation or response would have resolved the issue quickly, yet there appears to be no urgency or care for the customer experience.

A subscription service should make cancellation straightforward and transparent. Ignoring cancellation requests and leaving customers uncertain about future charges is extremely frustrating.

Until this issue is properly addressed and my membership cancellation is confirmed, I cannot recommend Odeon memberships to others.

SCAM

SCAM! AVOID limitless membership
Worst customer service ever! I requested cancellation via email as apparently they work in an archaic way, probably because they know they can scam you.
Due to personal reason I was no longer able to attend the cinema, so I requested cancellation, I was told I could cancel in 30 days, so respond “please cancel as soon as possible then”
Over the next 6 months they continued to take payment? Over the next 6 months I reached out chasing why my pass was not cancel, I resent my email probably about 30 times and reach out to every department I could. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. In the end I had to cancel my debit card to avoid any more charges

Zero customer service

After reading these many 1 star reviews I now understand why I have had no response to my complaint . There is no customer service with Odeon cinemas . I shall never set foot in one again , what was once a leader in its field is a shadow of its former self . Do yourself a favour and book with another cinema chain .

bad app design and terrible CS

I'm a new Limitless customer, started in January this year. I've had this happen three times since then already!
The app crashes half way through a booking, then my limitless number is locked to a screening and i can't rebook as it thinks i've used my limitless already, even though zero bookings for that showing yet!!
Its been nearly a week now and its still locked for me to rebook
Emailed five times and not a single reply
Will not be renewing Limitless next year and looking at thier reviews on here I'll be advising people not to bother with it either!!

Terrible customer service online

This is about customer service on Twitter/email. Why does no-one in Odeon Help ever help? Why does no-one in Guest Services ever service a guest? Who's above Niall at Guest Services?

In-house, all the staff are great, BTW.

Do not sign up for limitless

Like others in this review section I've alsotried to cancel my limitless subscription over a month ago only to be told they are dealing with a high volume of enquiries.

Do not sign up as they are clearly not responding to these requests to continue taking money from customers.

Website is an absolute mess

Website is an absolute mess. Always issues with it. I've lost count how many times, the site hadn't loaded properly, and I just end up navigating away and book something else. Been like this for a long time.

been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months. I have been waiting for someone to come back to me and the email I get every now and then is that they are too busy to respond. Went to their online chat - that directed me to someone been sat waiting for someone to come on the chat for 2 hours and nothing.

Just going to have to cancel the direct debit via my bank at this rate.

Odeons email customer service needs an overhaul (and less AI! )

Odeons email customer service not valuing a customer that has visited 150+ times in the last few years, after an issue with their online AI when I wanted to freeze my Odeon limitless account for a month (which they allow). Their social media doesnt reply and they pretend they sent you automatic emails that they dont send. Lovely customer service in their Mansfield branch so it's a shame to be leaving.
