Want my Odeon to survive - good movies to see
Went to see the Movie Michael at my Odeon Streatham and the staff were on queue ie attentive, helpful, available and approachable. There was a hiccup just 15 minutes or so after the movie started, the staff got to the issue, restarted the movie and all ended well, it took a little time to resolve but it got sorted. The inside of the cinema was clean and comfortable, and as soon as the credits completed, staff were there to readily clean etc. I had visited another time and I was aware that staff was present during the movie - that assured me that someone was ensuring that movie goers were in a safe environment. So, I will be going to my Odeon again - especially for Silver deals - thank you for your email reminders, info etc.
Freezing!
It was very cold in the cinema. Silver Screen customers really need the cinema to be as warm as outside.
Poor start but fine afterwards
The Screen 7 theatre was in complete darkness meaning we had to use phone torches to get to our seats. The room was very cold and this would have spoiled our experience. When the adverts and trailers started there was sound but no picture. After some time, one of our party notified staff at reception and the picture was activated and the room gradually warmed to a more reasonable temperature. After this we found the cinema to be comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the film.
Freezing and seats are so uncomfortable
The film was great but the seats are so uncomfortable in this screen. There is so little leg room I had to sit with my legs in the aisle. My friend that I was with is 5ft tall and also complained about the lack of leg room. I don’t know who could be comfortable in this screen!
It was also so cold in the screen that it was warmer when we went outside.
Streatham Odeon is great value
Streatham Odeon is great value - one of the cheapest nights out in London. The staff are always friendly and nice. The cinema itself is a lovely old Art Deco building. I always feel it is a pity that the owners do not make more of the venue, it has great potential. For example, a nice bar or cafe could be opened upstairs, there is plenty of space.

The lights remained on during the whole film and the screen size was small.
Other than that it was a decent time.

Very disappointing experience at ODEON Streatham!
We visited ODEON Streatham yesterday to watch a film, and the experience was absolutely awful.
There was no toilet paper in the toilets, which is completely unacceptable. At the end of the film, the lights were not even switched on, leaving everyone to find their way out in the dark.
The cinema was freezing cold, like sitting in a fridge, making it extremely uncomfortable to enjoy the film.
To make matters worse, the rubbish bins were completely overflowing, to the point where people had no choice but to leave their rubbish on the floor.
The overall cleanliness, maintenance and customer experience were absolutely shocking. For the prices customers pay, we expect much better standards.
Extremely disappointing and unacceptable. ODEON Streatham seriously needs to improve!
Out dated cinema
Out dated cinema , great customer service but the cinema rooms need updating.

The staff were very helpfull but the screen was changed to Screen 5 and the seats did not seem the same as booked (originally Screen 3). It was difficult to see the subtitles from the second row. It was also very cold during the movie.
Ok ... but ....
The ODEON Streatham is an OK cinema, although it is a bit older than some of the other cinemas. The biggest problem, however, is the lack of security or effective management during screenings. If other customers decide to talk loudly and throw popcorn all over the cinema throughout the entire film, there seems to be no one to intervene. As a result, you end up paying for a cinema experience but are unable to enjoy the film properly. The cinema really needs better staff supervision to ensure that customers can watch films without being disturbed by disruptive behaviour.

Really cold cinema & lights were left on during film, meaning the screen was invisible at points.
