I was kept informed on all the steps along the way and was treated with courtesy and respect when I contacted OCL. I knew Sophie or another member of staff would get back to me with any answers quickly if I needed them. Going to court would have been a daunting experience in my eyes, and I felt I was well supported if that should have happened.

We was asking for 50/50 split in the claim but my solicitor on the day won 100 percent in my favour on the day

Things were a little slow in the begining, but once my case was allocated to Tommy Spouse things moved more quickly. Tommy's communication with me was very good and if there was ever a delay, he would make contact to explain why. He was available to answer questions when needed and the outcome was good.

My no fault accident was referred to ocl from my insurance company,I can only say how good the service as been from start to vanish our solicitor Rob Frost as done a great job I have been kept informed either by telephone or email ,would certainly recommend this company and solicitor ,all finalised in 16 months

I cannot thank OCL Solicitors enough for their support over the last few years, and I would especially like to recognise Louise Bett, who has been exceptional throughout my case.

After a life-changing accident, navigating a personal injury claim felt overwhelming at times. Louise guided me through every step with professionalism, patience, compassion and honesty. She was always approachable, kept me informed, answered my questions thoroughly, and made me feel like a person rather than just another case number.

Although reaching the end of the claim has been emotional, I genuinely don't think I could have asked for a better solicitor to have by my side. Her empathy and dedication made an incredibly difficult period of my life much easier to navigate, and I will always be grateful for the support she gave me.

It is very difficult to separate our experience with OCL Solicitors and the whole process following our involvement in a car accident. Whilst trying to report and process the claim, we were offered the services of the Claims Management Company. Initially we were well supported, but as soon as the claim was settled with the third party insurers the Management Company revealed that we were involved in a dispute between the two insurers regarding the claim for the hire car. A court case ten years ago was cited (Steven’s v Equity) where a third party insurer contested the inflated hire car charge of a Management Company when the claimant could have afforded to make their own arrangements at a much lower cost. Once our claim was passed to OCL Solicitors we felt that we were responsible. Communication was difficult and rarely with the same person who sent correspondence. When we didn’t reply quickly enough we were advised that we would be responsible for the outstanding amount. As the time lapse was only three days we expressed our concern, only to be told that the letter was from an automated system (therefore they had no control or responsibility). We waited for several weeks to know if/when a date for court proceedings had been agreed, but eventually received an email advising that a settlement had been agreed between the two insurance companies. It has taken a long time to consider writing this review, The anxiety felt during the 5 month process that ran from February to July has returned, but perhaps our experience will help someone else to be very cautious about using an Accident Management Company. It seems that they are more interested in making money out of one another, with little consideration for the clients who have the misfortune to be involved in a road traffic accident.

To what started out as a nightmare, not just with the accident, but with being passed around from one person to the next. I was glad when Tommy took over. He made it clear what was needed to be done and when. He seemed to have had an understanding of my injuries which meant he was patient with me even if I asked things more than once.

He’s an asset to the company.

The whole process was carefully explained from start to finish and any worries I had were quickly addressed, putting my mind at ease. A very friendly and efficient process.
