Poor quality of the delivery service
I went personally to OBI Markt Parsdorf to order a countertop with my own measurements and holes for a sink and a tap. I also mentioned that I needed a delivery. I ordered it because there was no elevator in the building with my apartment. The delivery was very expensive at 79€. Just for a single countertop less than 170mm long! I paid the contract fully in advance.
After 9 days the countertop was ready. But it turned out that the delivery didn't include lifting the countertop upstairs (For 79€!!!). I went to the shop to ask to deliver it upstairs, but it was not possible, because there was just one man in the truck. Or to pick it up myself in the shop, but in that case, it doesn't make sense for me to pay so much money for the delivery. The employees were very friendly and tried their best to help me resolve my problem, but unfortunately, the management refused to refund a delivery.
I can still pick up the countertop in the shop, but in that case, I will lose 79€ for the delivery, which I already paid.

Never ever go to Obi for kitchen! The poorest service you can get from a supplier! In addition to that, the least respect for costumer. I ordered a kitchen on 20 May 2023. The Obi representative promised the installation after 5 weeks. 4 moths has passed, and I don't have a kitchen yet. The manufacturer came to my home 2 times, each time created a big mess. They left the boxes and kitchen pieces at my home for two months and till today they could not install the cabinets for 2x2m kitchen! Obi will charge you a lot and then they go to the cheapest subcontractor in the town. Not skilled and not professional of course.
Except from this, I have got the least respect from them. I sent email , and the Obi representative does not bother himself to reply my email after one week.
Never ever go to Obi for kitchen. It is like he paid me and I have to beg him to reply me!!! Worst of all, there is no email or phone number that I can report this guy .No one is helping me. I paid 5600 (90% of contract) Euros for 2x2m kitchen and till today I did not get anything but mess at my home.

Good pickup time
I use the "pick up" option quite often, since I live within the 15-minute walking distance from an OBI store. Never had any problems, plus the pickup time has improved recently. Last time I was able to pick up my order just about half an hour after placing it online.

Never again!: "Ordered 3 bags of plant soil. After a couple of weeks, 1 package arrived. The remaining were supposedly damaged in transit. As I'm used to normal customer service, I expected, they would either ship them again or refund the money automatically or at least contact me about how to proceed. Waited. Waited. Nothing happened. Finally called customer service, waited on the line forever. The guy on the phone said he would give me a 10% discount so I can order what I want again! Excuse me, what? They actually had the audacity to assume that I would buy more products from them when, in fact, I never received the things I had paid for in the first place. After I raised my voice, they promised to refund the money. After about a week, they indeed refunded me FOR ONE missing bag, although I was missing TWO. I have so far had to chat 3 times with their customer service, the connection of those calls is always really bad quality, I can barely hear what they're saying, they don't seem to hear me either. So far, the money for the one product that I didn't receive, has still not been refunded to my bank account. I placed the order on April 24, it's been a month! Seriously, it's 11.99€, a nation-wide store chain is haggling and wiggling trying to steal such a sum from a customer! Cool strategy, I guess, if you take small sums from multiple customers, it's a nice addition to your turnover. I will never in my life set foot in OBI again and never try to purchase anything from their website again. "

Online purchase delivery window is useless
The delivery window indicated for online purchases is of no significance. They do not abide by it and after ordering say there is no fixed delivery time frame. Even after 2 weeks the order status remains unchanged, even though the online page suggested the product will be delivered within two weeks. The money however has been charged for the product and deducted already. We made appointment with hand worker considering the worst case scenario of the delivery window indicated, but still it wasn’t good enough. I will never again buy online at OBI.
Fast and Efficient
It was fast and efficient. It only took me about 2-3 minutes for the transaction to finish.
2 Months and nothing
Dear OBI
I placed and paid for an order on 4/08/2022 to be delivered in Belgium.
Turns out OBI's courier doesn't deliver to Belgium.
>2 months later I still didn't receive anything nor did I receive a pay back.
After numerous mails and phone calls, OBI did send me a return label. But since I never received my order It's quite useless.
Can you reimburse me? It's been dragging on way too long!

Friendly, helpful, caring. Complete opposite of Hornbach. I switched from Hornbach to OBI and YOU should do the same. OBI deserves my hard earned money; Hornbach does not. Hornbach believes it has the RIGHT to take your money; whereas, OBI works to EARN your money. That's the difference. Pay attention and you will see. BTW, I do not work for OBI, in case you are wondering.
