Exceptional Yoga Teacher Training – high-quality, welcoming and well structured

TL;DR: An absolutely exceptional Yoga Teacher Training that I highly recommend to anyone considering a professional yoga education.

I enjoyed every second of this yoga teacher training.

I have to admit that when I arrived ad Nydum I had thoughts like, “I should have prepared myself better” or “Am I really advanced enough in my yoga practice to take this course?”
From the very first moment, however, it became completely clear that I had worried for no reason.

All the teachers – and even the cook – were more than welcoming and had a natural gift for making everyone feel comfortable. What really stood out to me during this yoga training was how they met each participant exactly where they were, both physically and mentally.
Considering how different our backgrounds and levels of experience were, this was no easy task – and yet they handled it incredibly well.

I am not the most spiritual person, but because the approach to yoga in this teacher training was so broad and well-rounded, I was able to fully immerse myself in the philosophy and ideas and truly relate to them. This was something I had not been entirely sure about beforehand.
The course itself was very well structured, and I especially appreciated the focus on anatomy and alignment, which made the training both practical and deeply educational.

The location was wonderful. The finca is a beautiful, spacious house, and my room was large and very comfortable.
The food was exceptional as well, which made the entire stay even better. Given the amount of physical practice during the yoga teacher training, the nourishing meals were an important and very welcome part of the experience.

I am deeply grateful to the entire team for creating such a fantastic and enriching experience, and I would highly recommend this yoga education to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-structured, and welcoming training.

I huge thank you to all of you! I truly hope to return soon.

wonderful experience

I have only positive words for Nydum Yoga School. I’ve just completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training there, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life.

From the very beginning, everything felt special. The location itself is magical: a beautiful, cozy Spanish finca set in the countryside, surrounded by nature, yet close to a stunning beach. On our Sunday day off, we went hiking to different spots along the coast, which felt like the perfect balance to the intensity of the training.

The finca is thoughtfully designed and incredibly welcoming. The shala is beautiful and warm, the rooms are comfortable with garden views and all the necessary comforts, and every evening we relaxed in the hot tub in the garden — a true blessing after long days of Ashtanga practice and classes.

The food deserves a special mention. It was absolutely delicious. The chef, Ricky, did an outstanding job. Every meal was fresh, creative, nourishing, and full of flavor. Even though I’m not usually vegetarian, his cooking was so good I could have happily been vegetarian for life.

The course itself was perfectly structured, and I learned more than I ever imagined was possible in just 18 days. The depth of knowledge, the balance between theory and practice, and the way everything was integrated made the learning experience incredibly rich and empowering.

The teachers were simply amazing — not only highly skilled, but also truly passionate and genuine human beings.
Thank you, Kim and Merle, for the early morning pranayama sessions, the sunrise walking meditations, and for guiding us so thoughtfully in creating our final vinyasa classes. Your energy, presence, and care made a real difference.
Thank you, Nina, for your daily guidance in our Ashtanga practice and for the passion you brought into the philosophy classes. With a teacher like you, how could anyone not fall even more in love with yoga?
Thank you, Popi, for all your insights, knowledge, and for practicing alongside us and being part of our journey.

And my biggest thank you goes to Amelia, the founder and organizer of Nydum. She is an incredibly passionate, inspiring woman whom I admire deeply. Her background in sport science was key for me — it allowed me to truly understand anatomy and alignment in a way I never had before. Her knowledge made the course even more special and gave me invaluable insights into the human body.

Amelia and her entire team made me feel like Nydum became a second home — and that is something no money can buy.

I’m also deeply grateful for the group of students I shared this journey with. Together we learned, laughed, supported one another, and grew in ways I will always cherish.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Nydum to anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice and teaching skills. They have a strong, well-structured system, years of experience, and — most importantly — kind hearts and genuine hospitality, which for me is just as important as the course itself.

I arrived not knowing what to expect, and I left with knowledge, confidence, strength, and clarity. I’m already looking forward to returning to Nydum for more courses.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic experience

My time at Nydum was a life changing experience. Amelia is an incredible teacher who takes the time to ensure you really understand the practice and is ready so answer questions at any time. The structure of the course was fantastic and I feel like I really got the most out of my time there. We were so well looked after with the space we had and the food we were served which kept us nourished and energized for the course. I came away from Nydum feeling more connected to my yoga practice and with a fresh outlook on life. Nydum is made up of genuine people who truly care about your experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to deepen their practice and take the next step toward teaching.

Mind blowing …

It was really a mind blowing teacher training. Amelia is very passionate about teaching prenatal yoga. She has incredible knowledge about the pregnant woman's body and what you can or can't do. She also invited a midwife who also explained so much. You will feel super confident after finishing this course.

Highly recommended prenatal YTT

I completed the prenatal yoga teacher training December 2025. Amelia was extremely knowledgeable and provided a nurturing environment for learning. We had the pleasure of also being taught by Nina who is actively teaching prenatal yoga within the community, as well as having a physiotherapist and a qualified midwife joining us in theory lessons. The food was delicious and my stay was very comfortable. I highly recommend Nydum as a centre of training!

Beautiful yoga nest

Nydum is a beautiful, loving and safe space! I went to do the 200 hour teacher training in march and loved the experience. In these four weeks I had the opportunity to slow down, to grow and to step out of my comfort zone in a loving and caretaking way from Amelia, Nica and Sal!
We were provided with fantastic food from Miriam. She was taking care of us in the loveliest way and always made us feel home and special!
The Villa and the surroundings are beautiful. There is everything you need to recharge and feel comfortable. On Sundays you will have the time to explore the amazing surroundings, there are hiking paths, beaches, horses and everything your soul needs.
The single room was nice and quite big. I like it little and cozy so I needed some time to adjust, but felt super fine after a while. You can also make some choices, which kind of room you want and Amelia is always open to communicate about your needs!
I also made a video call with her before to decide to book the training and she was happy to show me around and answer all my questions, which really helped me with the decision.
I am happy, I found Nydum and would always come back.
I wish you a great and lovely time in the beautiful Yoga nest!

Lovely Nydum

Having already experienced different yoga retreats in Portugal and southern France; the Nydum nest definitely is a paradise and worth your time.
I took part of the beginning of a yoga teacher training, to refresh my memories of one i did in 2019.
Amelia offered me the best options for me to feel confortable. As i am travelling on a lot budget ; i chose a shared room which is more than confortable. Indeed ; it is actually nearly two separates rooms; offering privacy and with à shared bathroom.
Amelia is a trained and full of knowledges teacher with a background in sport and fitness.
If you are looking for a training 200h; you will learn about ashtanga yoga vinyasa (primary serie), with theory about anatomy, teaching méthodology and philosophy.
If you are more there for resting ; you have the option to chose a retreat holiday. You will have the opportunity to be gifted by the great meals prepared by the cheffe Myriam. On top of those delicious meals; you will experience to strengten your body and mind ; to swim in the pool; jacuzzi or sea. The beaches can be reached by bikes or walking ( 12 min by bike; 30 min walk).
Amelia and her team are warm hearted teachers who will help you during these special time for your mind and body.
To reach Nydum; you have buses from Barcelona ( from the airport or the nord station)
Girona is 45 min by bus and Palamos only few minutes by car.
Enjoy your stay ♡

Worth it

The 200hr Teacher Training was exactly the right decision for me. I really enjoyed my time at Nydum and it exceeded my expectations. The house and the area around is very beautiful. I felt very comfortable and welcome. Amelia and the other teachers were so lovely and able to convey the content with quality and ease. So if you have high expectations on your training and self development, you've come to the right place! I would do my training there again and can highly recommend it to you. You won't regret it.

Transformational 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training

The 4-week, 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training was transformational. I wanted to reconnect with myself and nature, revamp and develop my self practice, nourish my body with fresh and delicious food, and dive deeper into the phylosophical aspects of the science. It exceeded my expectations. I extended my stay for the Pre-natal Yoga Teacher Training that took place immediately after and that was inspirational.
Amelia, the founder of Nydum, and the rest of the team are excellent trainers if you want to make yoga your profession. The space is safe for the emotions that may bubble up. I found the Teaching Metodology and the Anatomy & Alignment modules deeply informative yet practical. The Phylosophy modules were a great place for discussion and reflection.
I taught quite a few classes to my peers during the training and back at home I have already started teaching to my friends and family - my mum is a Polestar Pilates trainer - and the feedback is positive. I asked Amelia few questions after the training and she is totally available for the community.
That is what yoga is all about
