Through the whole experience of having my varicose veins treated, all the staff were incredibly professional, kind and helpful.
The communication in the run up to each procedure was second to non, and I felt well prepared.
The hospital was well presented and clean, and my husband was well looked after while waiting for me.
All in all I would certainly recommend this hospital, and if the need arose would look to have treatment here again in the future.

I have just been discharged from my excellent treatment at this hospital. Brilliant follow up physio and healing went so well. From walking through the door, receptionists, pre-op assessment team, Kelly and Fabian were so friendly, and knowledgeable - they were able to help with any questions I had and really put me at ease. What a great team ... more feedback following my operation!

Both care at the point of operation, the overnight stay and aftercare physio have been wonderful
As i dont have internet access they kindly printed out my exercises.

I was made to feel very relaxed and had the best of hospital treatment.I would recommend anyone to have treatment at the Plymouth Nuffield hospital.

The care I received at the Nuffield Ipswich was exceptional

Very well looked after in all aspect of care both before and after surgery,

I have received follow up treatment after a knee replacement operation. The treatment was very thorough and guided me through progress to recovery despite underlying issues which made it less than straightforward. The physio help was readily available for a longer than expected progress. Consultations with my surgeon were regular and informative as well as encouraging in my , necessarily slow progress. Many thanks for their patience in my treatment.

On the positive side, the anaesthetic, theatre, outpatients staff were friendly and professional, likewise the physiotherapists. Unfortunately I was very disappointed at ward level, lack of communication, unfriendly, ward lacked finesse, bins overflowing, water glasses not changed , The food was terrible, cold and not appetising, poor choice of food.Im attending physio regularly, and coming along ok.

Excellence in every aspect; administration and clinical care

Consultants were excellent but the Hospital and admin is below par. No transparency about "hospital charges" made in addition to Consultant fees. No aircon. No cafe for visitors. All rather tired and run down. Post op sandwiches made at midday for op at 5pm. Inedible when delivered at 6pm after op. Refuse to give any breakdown of invoice. Won't be using them again.
