Poor Customer Service
I hired NRG Remodeling to repair a leaking skylight in my home. After an inspection, their representative recommended a skylight replacement for $3,600, which I paid. The work was completed in a few weeks, and I signed a completion document, noting therein that I needed to wait for rain to confirm the repair’s effectiveness.
When it rained a few weeks later, I discovered the skylight was still leaking. I took a video and notified NRG. They followed up and confirmed the skylight was still leaking. Subsequently, I was told the problem was due to holes in the shingles, not the skylight itself—an issue that should have been identified and addressed as part of the original inspection and quote, since my sole objective was to resolve the leak. They have my $3,600 and I have a leaking skylight. That is unacceptable.
Ever since I reported the problem, NRG and its representative have chosen not to respond to texts, phone calls, or even a certified letter. I have other options to pursue, but first I want to make others aware of the way this company treats its customers. Do not hire NRG Remodeling.
