Nova Credit helps people access financial services by providing lenders with a more complete picture of their financial health. We do this through three main solutions: Cash Atlas™, which analyzes bank account data to show your financial responsibility; Income Navigator, which quickly verifies your income; and Credit Passport®, which brings your international credit history to a new country. Our technology helps banks, credit card companies, property managers, and phone carriers say "yes" more often to people who might otherwise be overlooked by traditional credit systems, especially newcomers to a country and those with limited credit history.

I had an excellent experience with Nova…

I had an excellent experience with Nova Credit! I reached out with questions about submitting my financial information for an apartment application, and their team provided stellar assistance every step of the way. They were professional, prompt, and patient in helping me understand the process. I truly appreciate their support and the clarity they offered during what could have been a stressful experience. Thank you, Nova Credit, for your outstanding service and dedication to your customers!

Nova Credit not worth the risk!

The fact that Nova Credit requires a person to login to bank accounts on their website for income verification is ridiculous, especially when other "secure" sites such as Equifax, have been hacked in the past. Nova Credit wants consumers to "trust" in their system but the risk is not worth the benefit. Recently, I refused to use Nova Credit for income verification so just took my business somewhere else. So glad I did!

I am a guarantor on my son's new…

I am a guarantor on my son's new apartment (Arvella) application in Miami. The apartment requires that you use Nova Credit who requires that you give them both your login and password to your bank account to verify income. (AND they have indemnification "fine print" language that protects them and the apartment place if your data is accessed inappropriately.) Their website says they offer alternative ways for them to check your income but the apartment says the only way is to give your bank account information and the Nova Credit link they send (over and over with high pressure language to give your bank information or lose the apartment) doesn't show how to do alternatives to this. You can't call and get anyone on the phone at Nova Credit. This process is so sketchy.

"Verifiable" ...yea right. Too far!!

So now they have a computer snooping around into our bank accounts and job portals so that we can get a lease to PAY THEM and they can feel secure we can afford it. Wtf happened to privacy. Nova credit and things like it are steps way to far. We don't get to fully know if the place we are moving into is "good' but they get to snake themselves into our accounts "to be sure". WHAT WILL BE NEXT??? They don't want paystubs, explanations of things, nothing...just a nerdy ass number crunching computer. Are we still humans??? NEVER a late payment from me for rent and no evictions, but this shi*** a** "process" is what we have now??? You shouldn't have to connect your PERSONAL accounts. People, this isn't about verification, it's about permanent having access to ALL YOUR BUSINESS and fraud and hacking will follow. SO WHAT you let someone into an apartment and you had to do an eviction...first of all you're still making money with your overpriced rent. Second, THIS WONT STOP PEOPLE FROM HAVING HARD TIMES. This is a sign that the society is in MAJOR DECLINE. Accept a GD paystub and move tf on you greedy slimy overdoing it nerds.

I'm not giving no 3rd party my banking information

Applied for an apartment and gave my digital face, stubs, drivers license info etc. Then I get an email from Nova requesting my bank login info.

Nova, a 3rd party I never heard of. That's not going to happen! I swiftly cancelled my application and now every hour I get emails, that alone tells me its an algorithm.

This also says a lot about the apartment owners who don't understand they just want to make sure they get their money, which I understand but this sh@t is ridiculous.

The managers or the apartment website should clearly state on the website they use a 3rd party like Nova.

Resist renters because this is not cool!

Annoying Faulty process

Very annoying and unnecessarily long process and at the end got declined with no good reason. When disputed, they didn’t bother to provide me with some answers. Their income validation process is not reliable at all. I have solid income showing up in my bank, but they are not counting it.

I had a disappointing experience with this company. The application process was unclear, and I received a rejection without any explanation. Attempts to get clarification were met with silence or vague responses. The customer service felt impersonal and unhelpful, leaving me feeling ignored and undervalued. I cannot recommend their services based on this experience.

Deceptive and Unprofessional

Unprofessional, evasive, and deeply untrustworthy. Their practices are opaque, dismissive, and at times blatantly dishonest. Avoid at all costs.

Nova Credit is just bad

Man, Nova Credit is just bad. I was tryna rent a place and they made me use this company. First thing they do is ask for my bank login and that code thing my bank says not to give nobody. I dont even know these people and they want all my info? No way.
I send them my paystubs and W2 like they ask but they keep sendin emails sayin I gotta give em my bank login. Like, what for? I already gave you my stuff. They send emails all night, woke me up at 2am one time. I try to call or email them but nobody answer, just some robot reply.
Their website is broke too, keep crashin and makin me start over. Took me like 3 times to upload my papers. They dont even got my bank on there so I couldnt even do what they wanted if I wanted to.
I dont trust em at all. Feels like they just want my info and dont care bout helping. Told my landlord I aint doin it no more. Still worried what they doin with my stuff. Dont use Nova Credit, its a mess.

Worst experience ever with Nova…

Worst experience ever with Nova Credit!! This company is a complete joke and CANNOT be trusted. They kept harrassing me for my bank login details and 2FA codes - exactly what my bank warns me to NEVER share with anyone! Even after I gave them my 1099 forms, they still demanded access to my bank account, sending me emails literally every 3 hours.
As someone self-emlpoyed, I was treated like my income wasn't real because they refuse to accept business accounts or cash income. So ridiculious and time consuming! Their whole process is a mess - sending duplicate requests, approving things and then sending more approvals, it's like nobody knows what their doing over there.
I tried contacting them multiple times with no response. They just kept sending emails at all hours - late at night and early morning! Who does that?? Their online form was pathetic and completely useless.
For a company handling sensitve financial info, they seem totally incompetent. Take my advice - STAY AWAY from Nova Credit! Their not on the level and shouldn't be allowed to operate. After dealing with them, I'm seriously worried about where my personal data has ended up. Absolute nightmare experence from start to finish!

Horrible

Horrible. Husband and I are oldsters and attempting to rent an apartment. NOVA repeatedly asks for access to our bank accounts. They email late at night and early in the AM and will not stop. No response when we try to contact them. They sent an online form which was pathetic. Folks: Trust me as one who has bought and rented houses all her life, THEY ARE NOT ON THE LEVEL!

Shady Company that Demands Sensitive Info

This company isn't to be trusted. They try to force you to give them your bank login as well as the 2FA code, that your bank always tells you to not give to anyone.

Only by searching online did I find out that I could close the window, and be offered the alternative of using a pay stub, something I already gave to the rental company who employs them.

Whoever is running the security show here doesn't appear aware of the principle of minimum necessary information disclosure, and that tells you all you need to know about whether or not you should do business with them.

What a horrible mess!

What a horrible mess!! This company should not be allowed to operate credit-related activities. They send duplicate requests. Their help seems intentionally bugged. They approve then send more approvals. For a company to be so horrible strongly implies they are incompetent and should not be handling sensitive information like credit details.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company. You can give them your 1099 and they will still ask for your income and bank information. For Self-employed people they don’t accept cash or business account as verifiable income. Shady and ridiculous time-consuming process. Emails every three hours asking you to connect your bank account. Joke of a Company.

had a deeply unsatisfactory experience…

had a deeply unsatisfactory experience with Nova Credit that has left me questioning their credibility. The application process was unnecessarily complicated, with an insistence on providing sensitive banking credentials that made me uncomfortable. My past experience with data breaches only heightened my concerns, but Nova Credit seemed uninterested in accommodating these legitimate fears.
Communication with Nova Credit was frustratingly poor. Attempting to reach them by phone proved impossible, and the lack of direct email support forced me to submit online tickets instead, which did little to resolve my issues. This lack of transparency is disconcerting and raises serious questions about their customer service approach.
Further, despite providing multiple documents, there was no verification process with my previous landlord or supervisor, making me suspect that Nova Credit relies on an automated system rather than thorough human verification. Such practices are deeply unsettling and do not inspire trust in their operations.
In summary, my experience with Nova Credit was marked by a lack of communication, questionable data handling practices, and an overall impression of a company that prioritizes automation over customer assurance. I cannot recommend their services based on the issues I encountered.

Hi Abdulaziz,

Thank you for providing us with feedback. We are constantly working to improve the overall experience of our users. While data and privacy are our top priority we deeply empathize with your concerns. While we understand not all of our users may be comfortable verifying income via their banking information, we have added the option to upload income information via a recent paystub. While the options may not be suitable for everyone, we are always looking to add additional means of verification to ensure the inclusivity of all applicants. If for any reason you are still in need of support, please feel free to reply to your existing ticket and I will be happy to assist. I also wanted to provide you with our Privacy Policy (https://www.novacredit.com/privacy) below with the hopes of addressing any additional concerns around privacy and security.

Way too shady

I had to use Nova Credit in order to get approved for an apartment and the process is super shady. They send you an email to confirm your income but want you to link your bank account by inputting your online login for said bank. Sorry but no one with any sense of security is going to just casually hand out their bank information. I don't care how secure they say they are. I was able to get around an upload a paystub, however, the property informed me that additional information was needed to confirm my salary, as it it doesn't state on the paystub. After finally getting through that process, the system proceeds to send me an automated email every 3 hours or so telling me to confirm my income when I already did. To summarize, you have a company stating they want to confirm your income by giving them your bank information and if you don't, they proceed to spam you with emails asking you to do so.
