This is the end of an era
This is the end of an era. After hiring vans from Northgate for over 6 years I am now retiring and as such have no need for a van. Over the years I have always found staff at the Huddersfield depot would go the extra mile, whether it was arranging servicing at times that were convenient to the needs of my business ,or arranging replacement vehicles at very short notice on the odd occasion a vehicle broke down. Today was no exception Chris and Umar dealt with the offhire process in a timely and professional manner. I have in the past, and will in the future have no hesitation in recommending the Huddersfield branch of Northgate to my business friends. Once again thanks for your help over the years I have really appreciated it.

When I book my work van it’s sometimes not a nice experience as it’s not my vehicle , not sure I’m getting a good service . But at Huddersfield I was seen to by Umer who was brilliant and very pleasant to deal with. He is a credit to Northgate. 👏👏👏😊

Exceptional Service
I was in a loan van that was just too big for my needs. Appon arriving at the branch I was approached by Umer to whom I had being dealing with over the phone. He was polite and very welcoming and assured me that the van I was swapping into would be ready soon. I then realized that the van I was swapping into wouldn't be suitable either, so I went into reception and dealt with Ashleigh. I explained why the van wouldn't be suitable and Ashleigh went out of her way and was very professional to find me one that would be. The gentleman that deals with the vehicles in the yard fetched my new van and had it parked up next to my previous van for ease of stock transfer.
All I can say is that I received absolutely fantastic customer service from the team.

I took a hire van that was too big to…
I took a hire van that was too big to work with. This was exchanged for a smaller van. Upon collection of the van I asked if there was an eta on the part for my van, no eta on the part. Once I'd left the depot with the replacement van the depot called me an hour after to say my van was ready to collect.

Reliable vans and CSR High On Their Agenda
We were loaned a number of long wheel base vehicles in January free of charge by the company to support ourselves as a locally based charity with our tree re cycling. The vehicles were presented to us in good condition and were reliable throughout the week, even during some snow! We are grateful for Northgate's support.

We came in as there was a engine coolant problem with our leased van and Chris and Ashleigh was really helpful with getting our insurance and van swapped while the van is getting fixed. They have been really polite and took their time to do whatever they could to help us out.

Top notch service
This was my first time using this branch and wow what can I say absolutely amazing service !!!
It was late in the day when I arrived there was ten minutes left till closing most places would be ushering you out the door !
But Umer what a guy managed to find me a vehicle then even helped me unload the goods from the broken down van in to the new one while the whole time being very polite and considerate of the day from from hell I'd had what a credit to the company this man is I would highly recommend going here if your ever stuck and need a vehicle!
