This device has made a big difference to the life of our loved one living remotely. We are able to see each other and speak to each other almost like we are in the same room. Originally purchased to deal with Covid isolation, this is now just a part of daily life.
Once or twice we have had some technical issues but the manufacturer has been lightning fast to resolve them (within hours). But generally the system is very stable.

Brilliant invention which made my father so much more easy to contact. Particularly brilliant during the pandemic but we used it every day. He had Alzheimer’s and I’m sure it’s one of the things that kept him going. Very helpful the one occasion it went wrong!

Fantàstic, has lived up to all of our expectations, and works super well, just as explained it should. Absolutely recommended and a life saver for our family! One of the family members in Spain, another in Canada and another in southern USA, our mother in the middle, with advanced Alzheimer's and it is now our connecting cord to her!! My mother, 90+, could not operate a phone or computer herself. With the Komp she could easely talk to my sister ( her doughter) in America. She loved it! Every week she was able to see her doughter and partner without any effort for her.

When my mother developed dementia she had to be cared for in nursing home. Using Komp, family members were able to interact with her, even when they lived a long way away. It was reassuring to be able to see mum so easily. She was able to use Komp for a long time, until her illness became too severe.
Recently, we have been planning to use Komp again with other family members, who struggle to handle video calling on mobile phones. The Komp support team were really helpful when we were struggling because of a lost password.
I thoroughly recommend this product.

We have been absolutely delighted with Komp. My mother has had a Komp screen in her room for 4 years now and 23 family members can follow news from all over the planet, as my mother sees it. It's as important for us as my Mum!
When it failed recently, the Noisolation staff were fabulous - helpful, courteous and highly motivated. I got a new Komp set up today - just 3 days after reporting the problem. We highly recommend this product and the company - so life-enhancing.

My mother has been using KOMP since 2020, the beginning of the pandemic. She lived alone and was deaf so found it difficult to hear on the phone, but could lip read using the screen. Invaluable! Obviously at that time she had few visitors. She really enjoyed seeing photos of her great grandchildren who of course were unable to visit. She watched the screen for ages! She was developing dementia and we were able to leave her messages on the screen.
She went into a care home last summer.
The KOMP has been less useful and not used so much since then but we have kept up the payments so that we would be able to use it if she became restricted to her room.

My stepdad and family members were lucky to take part in a 12-week trial of Komp - this was free via the local authority. The local authority was trialling a number of different devices that might be useful for older people living alone and for families/carers with relatives with dementia. The idea was that these devices would reduce isolation and also help carers/family see how their relatives were in themselves. My stepdad is a little hard of hearing, has some health issues but is sound in mind, is quite independent and has been living alone almost 3 years since Mum passed. This device allows us to make video calls - he can see us and he can hear this device so much better than his landline and his non-smart mobile phone. He likes that he can see who's calling. It also allows us to send pictures and messages. He enjoys seeing a range of his pictures with Mum from some years back, and more recent photos from family. The text feature is handy as we can send notes about appointments or events and about things he's looking to buy or arrange. Handy to also send him photos of options to purchase and where they can be found - saves him trekking round a lot of outlets. All of this has proved invaluable seeing he has no internet at home and does not want a tablet or smart phone. he has been so happy with the experience that we have bought a secondhand Komp and that is now set up to replace the trial one. Komp's customer service/help have been very quick to respond and very helpful regarding set up and use of the device and the app. And when there are issues caused by updates to Android or iOS, or outages with Komp, there are rapid updates available on the Komp website and app about what to do next - usually a simple fix. What would make this really ace would be if the elderly relative could make a call out. While full price for a Komp is pretty high it is a very easy device to operate and doesn't require your relative to be tech savvy and they don't need to have internet/broadband in their home as it will operate from the best 4G signal in the area - that needs a monthly subscription of £19.99 currently. Very happy indeed to recommend this device and company.

The KOMP screen caller is an absolute life saver if you have elderly parents living far away. So easy to use that my Mum with dementia understands it. It’s solved so many problems for us. The support team are also excellent. On the rare occasion I’ve needed help they’ve fixed the issue almost immediately. I would 100% recommend it.

This is a brilliant way of keeping in touch with your family and friends along with having a continuous slide show.
My father aged 96 found it invaluable .
We used it to speak to dad regularly using it like a zoom call . It was great seeing him physically on the screen .
In between times we loaded it with family photos for him to watch . It looped round and kept him entertained .
If you haven’t got one and you know someone who is lonely then i would consider getting one .

I cannot contact you directly. When I phoned UK the call did not go through and when I phoned Norway an automated message in Norwegian appeared. I do not speak Norwegian.
My Komp service is not working and nothing I do works. My emails simply get replied by the same automated reply every time. It's hopeless!
I thought the problem was over and done with but now I never get through on Komp with a message that 'right now I cannot contact my family'. Also I have both a mobile phone and a tablet. My Komp on the tablet automatically changed to my wife's name and doesn't work either.

An extremely good product for visually impaired and those whose dexterity is deteriorating. Particularly during COVID lockdown but also subsequently provided an easy way to contact and remain up to date with elderly parents in the United Kingdom who have no immediate family in the vicinity and whose main family members live in The Netherlands. Proved to be an excellent reliable service which has only seen improvements since acquisition.

My very elderly mother lives alone but with daily support. We have had Komp for 2 years now and Komp has enabled her children and wider family to stay in contact regularly as all live at a distance except one. It also allows us to talk with the carers 'face to face'. We can post pictures and most importantly reminders of what is happening or will be happening to prevent surprises. I allows visual links which is essential for many reasons. It is a truly great piece of communication equipment which has added immeasurably to Mums quality of life and our peace of mind. The connection it allows is certainly helping Mum to stay living in her own home,

KOMP is the only technology I found that allows family and friends to contact, talk to and see loved ones who are unable to respond or use via their phones or tablets reliably. It was a saviour for a Mum when she went into care. I could involve my brothers and sisters who lived away in her daily care package, I.e frequent calls. All her 12 grandchild could talk to her and see her from anywhere on the planet! She could see pictures of family and friends on the screen. It solves so many concerns about keeping in touch with vulnerable adults. Thank you so much KOMP team for your advice, ease of communication and efficiency. Such good value as well

I highly recommend this for keeping in touch with an elderly relative and friend who finds technology difficult. The beauty of it is that they don't have to do anything at their end and you can check in on them by yourself. It was a lifeline during Covid, when I couldn't visit my mother with dementia very often. I used it for almost 5 years and found the support team good and the connection mostly OK.
It is also great that you can add other people, so mum was able to be in touch with friends around the world. And we could send her pictures and messages too, which she loved. A really fantastic idea.
