Great experience, Jamie and team are the best

I've had poor experiences before of trying to buy a car and really struggled with finding reputable dealers. Jamie has been fantastic from start to finish in supporting me getting a car, my lovely little Citroen C1 - whilst it has had some issues out of the control of Jamie and NMC, they've dealt with everything very professionally and have a great manner. A great company and would recommend all to buy a car with them - I definitely will be again in the future! Thanks Jamie and team, reception team extremely polite and helpful. Thank you all

I had a great experience at NMG ,Mile…

I had a great experience at NMG ,Mile cross lane, Norwich.
Tomasz the salesman was extremely efficient, the process was stress free and pleasant, he was not in the least bit pushy.
On collection of the car Tomasz made sure everything was covered, and I definitely got a very good deal on my new car. I highly recommend NMG.

I will never go there again

I will never go there again. MOT failure but advisory said two new tyres but they were new the day before! Advisory said shock absorbers but two other garages said there isn’t a problem. Went somewhere else that has a strict code of conduct. A few minor things have been repaired and it has passed.

NMG very poor customer service

MG HS Car went in for the 1 year service and the comfort upgrade. After debating with their staff who reported there was no such thing for hours, being told I was wrong! I sent the upgrade code to them plus about 40 people’s confirmation that there is one, they finally agreed but needed to keep the car till the next day to do it. Picked it up at the agreed time and they hadn’t even cleaned it - citing running out of time. Still charged me £75 for this despite most garages doing it for free. Asked for a follow up call which I’ve never received.
Says something when the staff know less about this stuff than the customer. Disappointing all round.

After a rocky start in poor customer…

After a rocky start in poor customer service, we can now say that after dealing with Grant Long ( Managing Director) the customer service improved 100 per cent, would also like to mention Jonathon and the service manager( can't remember his name!) They changed not one but both of my seat covers in my Kia, and valeted my car throughout. A very big Thank you Guys, we are very pleased with our Kia now.
Very Happy indeed.

NMG mg

NMG. Mg zs

NMG. Part of holdens group now Mg zs warranty be aware lots of exclusion some serious money replacement parts after 2 years
They should advertise part 7 year warranty very miss leading when I bought the car they said everything covered other then consumables

Had a prob with my wheels being miss machine mg say it what you get for the price and cosmetic problems are not cover on warranty
Warranty has lot of exclusions and certain parts have no where near the seven years be aware the service to customers is very poor
=====
Rust on main sub frame less then a year old and fine 7000 miles my daughters have same problem
=====
They takes weeks to respond to dealers asking questions on warranty as dealer have to get every approved over a laughable £50 what do you get for that nowadays

Now told me to go away basically or try and sort something out with mg your self and mg area manager said to me you get what you pay for

I am a 30 plus years customer of Holden group too

Good Kia warranty, but dealer resources stretched to provide a timely fix.

Our Kia Venga was 3 years old on the 30th September 2017 we purchased it August 2016 second hand from the main dealer NMG. so it needed the statutory UK MOT test to remain road legal. Like all Kia cars in the uk the car has a comprehensive 7 years from new warranty. Which can transferred to each owner of the car. I had the car car serviced by NMG late August 2017 as it had travelled over 11000 miles.This meant I expected the car to pass the test and not have issues. Nevertheless because of the warranty I decide to have the car tested at NMG not with standing their garage is about 11 miles from my home and there are many other nearer MOT test stations nearer. The earliest test date they could offer with one weeks notice was 8th September 2017 It was good job I did this the car passed the test but the mechanic found a oil leak on the gear box so my MOT certificate and government internet record showed this as an advisory observation. I was annoyed because I had never seen oil on the ground under the car and I felt the oil leak should have been found and fixed during the service a few weeks earlier. The testers said the oil should be resolved by Kia/NMG under the Warranty. The NMG MOT testing facility is at a different location from the main dealer service department approximately half a mile away. So, I then went round to the service department and explained. The service agent was not happy that the oil leak had been found during the MOT test without any evidence of oil on the ground. He agreed that NMG would investigate. And hopefully it could be dealt with under warranty. I then tried to book the car in for repair but was told because the engine and gear box would have to be separated from one another NMG would need the car for at least two days meaning they would need to lend us courtesy car. NMG did not have a courtesy car available until the 2nd October 2017 so we had had to drive the car with oil leak unrepaired for two weeks or more.
The car was taken in for the oil leak to be resolved 2nd Oct,The courtesy car provided was a brand new Kia Picanto that had travelled just 23 miles. It turned out the oil leak was caused by a bolt and copper blanking plate leaking. So the repair was without cost to me and covered by the warranty.

I have given NMG only three stars because I feel the leak should have been found during the service.The fact the MOT cannot be done In the main workshop so I had to take the car there to explain (NMG not proactive in communicating the problem from one member of staff site location to another this is a training issue). The delay in them being able to arrange repair more quickly as they did not have enough courtesy cars - insufficient investment. The concerns and worry I had while having to drive a car with a oil leak. NMG are a main dealer for, Kia, Suzuki,Ssanyong, & greatwall vehicles so should be striving to perform better.

You pay for their misdiagnosis and lack of knowledge!

I took my car here shortly after we lost power in the clutch. I received a phone call from them shortly after dropping it off telling me that I needed a new clutch. I was really surprised as I had the clutch changed less than six months ago by another garage (where I bought it from). I told NMG this and they assured me that it needed replacing. I had no choice, so I authorised the work, they took the car apart and I then received another call telling me that in fact it wasn't the clutch and they had to replace the fly wheel. The bill was going to be well over the original price quoted and I couldn't afford it. I spoke with the original garage who agreed to have the car back and they would repair it. But to my astonishment NMG demanded that I pay them £600 for a clutch which didn't get fitted and the labour costs. Again, I had no choice as they refused to put it back together without payment. I paid the bill, picked my car up in exactly the same state I took it to them in and contacted management, they refused any refund. If you are considering either buying a car from NMG or using their service garage, act with caution, with my experience if their ethics, you may end up seriously out of pocket like me.
