DON'T SUPPORT PARTS FOR WHAT THEY SELL

I purchased an Areosky Trainer from this company and in less than a month damaged the Spinner that holds the propeller. Of course the part was out of stock I'm have waited for three months checking daily to see if the part was in ad now find out they are discounting remaining plane parts and will no longer support this particular airplane.

WORD TO THE WISE DO OT PURCHASE PLANES FROM THEM EXPECTING THEM TO SUPPORT PARTS.

Out to part you from your wallet

It seems they are never going to stock parts for the Airfield warbirds. My first 1450mm P51D was in good order outof the box barring the poor choice of hardware on Airfield's part. 10th flight the flap hinges failed in flight blessfully landing proceeded without incident. Numerous conversations with support left me to do field repairs to an otherwise new airframe, photos sent proving no bad landings, wing contact or the like occured. I purchased a second from Raidentech, just to find they are merely a second face of Nitroplanes. The second P51D arrived with large punctures in the bottoms of both wings. Support said to choose the parts from the parts list, yet they have no inventory of the parts, so I countered with the offer to purchase a 3rd arf at the kit price, and I pay the shipping...a cost to them less than the wing set.....still no response.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

My plane came with damage inside the box, outer box in perfect condition. I sent pictures, I was told they would replace the plane and ship me a new one at no charge BUT I must return the damaged plane and pay the freight.
You send out damaged goods and expect the customer to pay to get it replaced. NOT NOW AND NEVER AGAIN FROM ME OR OUR FLYING CLUB! IRS HAS BETTER SERVICE!

HUGE Disappointment for my Son's Graduation

The blade holder on my son's AT-6 Texan broke on his first landing and we have been waiting for nearly a year to fly the plane for the second time. NitroPlanes has the absolute worst customer support I have ever encountered. The AT-6 was an 8th grade graduation gift and purchasing it from NitroPlanes has turned this "gift" into a huge disappointment for my son, spanning over a year! DO NOT BUY CHEAP CHINESE PRODUCTS FROM NITROPLANES!!! They have no concept what customer support means; making empty promise upon empty promise along with empty apologies. Next step is a letter to the Better Business Bureau!

Very bad customer service!

I bought a 1400mm Airfield P51 that was damaged. I tried to get them to replace it and I got the run around with them. They told me to send pictures of the box and the damaged plane, which I did. I filled out their trouble ticket numerous times. I received emails telling me they were going to fix the problem. They never did. Avoid these roaches! They need to go out of business. I'll never do business with them again!!!

Its Christmas Don't keep them in business. Can't give no stars !!!!!!

I too tried to post a bad review, twice, they wont do it.

I bought a plane from them the motor burnt up in less than 2 min. I'm 52 & been flying for over 30 yrs. If you have wired a motor to a ESC its impossible to do it wrong. I'm an ASE Master certified auto tech & build Hot Rods & custom cars, I know a little about wiring. LOL.I purchased & got this plane on Oct 8th. I contacted them on the 9th & they told me to send the motor & the ESC back, although I tested the ESC with another motor & it was fine. Sent it out the same day, I had to pay for shipping. Is that ridicules or what? I was told they would check it out & it will take 7 days. I finally recieve the motor yesterday, the 30h. I sent it 1st class so it didn't take long for them to get it, if you noticed I said Motor, yes there was no ESC. I contacted them yesterday, by way of ticket system, stupid system. No reply. Tried again today on reply. Also tried phone, that was a joke. Now its the weekend you know what that means. I'm sure after this I wont get the ESC. But if I can stop just one person from ordering from then, I"ll feel better. You'll have to pay more at first, but after paying for return postage & waiting a month, buy from a reputable company. DON'T DO IT, DONT BUY FROM THEM. yOUR KIDS/ GRANDKIDS or Great grand kids deserve better on Christmas day.

Customer service not good

Bought a Dynam BF109, kit is good and plane assembled as advertised. The plane was purchased 11-29-13 as a Christmas gift. Just got around to assembling the plane, pulled the Supermate DC6 battery charger out and it was broken. I called customer support and got, past 30 days, your problem. All I wanted was an exchange, nothing else. I and the group I fly with will not be buying from this company again. 2/20/13

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Bought a Waco from Nitroplanes at a AMA show could not beat the price of the plane. That's where the good stuff ends. Assembled the plane and was carrying to the car for the maiden flight by the upper wing and the rest of the airplane fell away. The weight of the airplane minus the battery, was too much for the junk plastic wing brackets. I called Nitro customer service and they said no problem they would sent me another wing set .That was a month ago have tried to contact them via email no response, tried calling and only can get "due to high volume please call later" for the last week. Careful with this company you may get what you pay for . I'm shopping somewhere else now

SOME PEOPLE!!!

Just to start off the bat I do NOT work for Nitro Planes nor am I old enough to even have a job.

EVERYONE LISTEN UP! Nitro Planes is a really good website Period. I cannot believe some people get away with saying these things so i'm going to go down the list of 1-2 star reviews and say my opinion to some of them.

1) "I will not buy another thing from this place. Their customer service and shipping truly sucks!"
Listen, You cannot buy anything online weather its as light as a feather or if it costs 1 dollar online without expecting to get a big shipping price. Also you should be smart and learn that you don't need to buy just one prop or one same item for that mater. You buy multiple; in bulk, so you don't have to waste money on shipping again when it breaks again. If you buy a plane that costs 150 dollars they only add about 2 dollars to the shipping charge you mentioned.
2) 'Horrible electronics"
Just to let everyone know, electronics DO break, big whoop huh. Well you can't always expect everything to work perfectly. Not a surprise for planes that cost around 100 dollars.
3) "Bad Attitude, unresponsive, shaddy, Don't care about customers"
"you get what you pay for", BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU PAID FOR DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most RC websites are like this, and if you wan't to get the very highest quality plane you need to buy them in a KIT and put in the electronics you like. Read my last sentence again before you buy another plane.

The comments people post DO NOT DROP DOWN FAR ENOUGH TO THE LEVELS OF ONE STAR. If I were the people who gave those reviews I would give the company 3/4 star ratings.

I will not buy another thing from this place. Their customer service and shipping truly sucks!

Nitroplanes.com truly sucks! I bought a RTF powered glider shy of $200. That's fine. Then one folding prop broke so I on nitroplanes.com again and I found the replacement prop and added it to shopping cart. Item was $4. At the checkout they added $7.84 for shipping !! I rubbed my eyes and called their customer service phone, after a 20 minute hold, they answer and tell me sorry but it is what it is and nothing they are willing to do about the rip off shipping charge. I called back and talked to someone else there, same answer!! So if I want to buy a $4 prop which weighs less than couple of ounces, I have to pay them $8 to ship in from southern California to northern California. I wish I had not bought the plane from here and had gone to my local hobby shop. NitroPlanes sucks! Ron- order number 352377

Horrible electronics

I got on of the P-51 Mustangs for Christmas in 2010, it looked good at first. When I took it outside and turned it on, the stupid receiver re-wired itself completly! It took it to the nearest hobby shop to get it fixed, then it was fine. When I turned it on a few months later, it re-wired itself again! I'm hopefully getting a good receiver from Spektrum and binding it to my Dx5e transmitter, and it should fly if the servos don't burn in mid-flight.I'm thinking of replacing ALL of the electronics, just in case. And by the way, I looked closely at one of the video reviews of one of their P-51's, and all the guys there were holding the JR 11x radios! They were putting trustworthy radio equipment instead of using their own! That right there shows that they don't even rely on their own electronics because they know it themselves that it's faulty! And one of them always says, "Just so you guys know, I'll be flying on the Dx8, just because it's the transmitter I like to use." And their warranty states that you have to ship it within 30 days UNOPENED or else you'll void it. That means that you can't even turn the stupid product on to make sure that it works! They don't care about quality, they just put up good pictures, adds, and rewiews ( If anyone posts them, it'll be nitroplanes). Good job, nitroplanes! A really good business you've got there, it seems like the distributor Horizon Hobby and Hobbico have beat you with quality and money. They're successful because they CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!

Defective product

Purchased a helicopter from them. I charged the battery popped it in, and the top rotor does not spin. Obviously it could not be used. When contacted they expect "me" to pay to ship it back! That's unacceptable! This helicopter was made for the foreign market, and has no USA warranty!! That was not disclosed anywhere before I purchased it! Buyer beware with this merchant!

Bad Attitude, unresponsive, shaddy, Don't care about customers

This company will be going out of business soon in my opinion. They do not give a darn about customers. In fact I have read on several blogs that if you don't do what they want or complain too much they will black list you,,,, yes thats what I said. They will cancel your account and not "allow" you to give them your money. That will teach those pesky customers that pay they bills, the employees and keeps the company in business. Neat way to do business don't you think, fire all of your customers because they complain about your terrrible service.

Keep in mind they also go by the name Raidentech and some others as well so be careful. These guys are bad, don't be fooled by their cheap prices. They are the very definition of "You get what you pay for" and in their case it is nothing but problems. I don't trust them and will never order from them again, no matter how cheap the product. I am flying my plane finally after 10 weeks of hastles and delays and countless hours on the phone to get things right. Never again. They can take their attitude, poor service and products right back to China.

They seem to only post postive reviews

Submitted negative review of the plane we purchase there and it never was posted. They seem to only post positive reviews.

The Catalina we purchase from them didn't have enough power to take off, customer service was poor at best.
