The utter rudeness of this man really knows no bounds! Yet another person has received a Puig part instead of Wunderlich with NN claiming ‘they don’t make all their own stuff’. He’s clearly sending out cheaper parts and trying to get away with it. Having had the highly unpleasant experience of speaking to him on the phone, he’s now ignoring them entirely.
For those that want to call NN his number can be found with a spot of searching online though be warned you are likely to be met with a barrage of rudeness as other reviewers here have stated.
The company is incorporated in Devon, with a registered office listed if you want to pay the old misery a visit I know you’ll find him there! Good luck!

I’m posting this to help other customers rather than to vent.
I purchased the Nippy Normans DIN Socket Relocation Kit for a BMW R1200GS. The issue is not the cost of the missing parts, but the accuracy of the product description and documentation.
Their website states:
“Now that you have fitted the Nippy Normans Double USB socket in place of the original DIN socket – re-use the spare DIN socket for convenient battery maintenance/charging. Simply re-use the original DIN socket removed when our double USB socket was installed.”
The kit is also described as plug and play, and the included leaflet states that a fuse is supplied.
In reality:
• No fuse was included, despite being listed in the leaflet
• No retaining nut was supplied to refit the original DIN socket, making it impossible to reinstall as described if you have already used the original nut to fit their USB socket
As a result, the kit cannot be installed as described without sourcing additional parts elsewhere. I resolved this myself, but that does not change the fact that the description and documentation are inaccurate.
I contacted Nippy Normans to raise this calmly and provided my order and invoice details. The response was abrupt, requested unnecessary photos, and follow-up emails were ignored entirely.
This is a small issue in practical terms, but attention to detail and accurate product descriptions matter, especially when fitting instructions explicitly assume reuse of parts that cannot be refitted with what is supplied.
I would recommend that potential buyers read the product description carefully and be prepared to source additional components despite the plug and play claims.
ZERO Customer Service, ZERO Comms
The best way to kill off a business is through poor or zero customer service.
I purchased a product from their website, stupidly without first checking their reviews. I was quickly sent a Royal Mail tracking number that was not active and continued to be inactive for a further 5 days, during which time I sent the company 3 separate emails politely enquiring as to whether the product had actually shipped. I didn't receive a single response.
After 6 days the tracking suddenly activated and 2 days later my product arrived. Fortunately the product was fine, but what if, like many other reviewers, I'd needed support or to return the product? There's only one way to contact the company and that's by email. But they don't answer their emails so you have no way of communicating with them. It appears whoever is now at the helm of the company has no idea what they are doing and sees customer service as an unnecessary burden that they're not prepared to carry.
That was my first experience of not so "Nippy Normans" and it will also be my last.
Unable to get a refund
Unable to get a refund. I returned an item following the instructions, I also used signed for post at my own cost. I offered to exchange the goods and filled in the downloaded form.
The lack of response was unreal, tried time and time again. in the end i had to do a credit card charge back.
This firm is a joke, beware beware beware. NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER

Desert Fox pump replacement Gauge
I had a Desert Fox pump,I had bought some years ago from Nippy Normans.
They gauge had broken and i contacted Desert Fox to see If i could get a replacement Gauge,They were more than helpful as the were in South Africa and said they would put the part on there next Shipment to Nippy Normans and I could purchase it through them when it arrived in the UK.
I contacted NN to ask if they would let me know when the item arrived.They immediately responded and said they would send me a gauge for free.

I bought a Wunderlich rear paddock stand advertised by Nippy Normans for my bike which is a GS. It had rubber sections to go under the swing arms. I started using it and my bike slipped off it and it was really dangerous. I left the stand for a while because it scared me to use it and then decided to try and find a solution by changing to bobbins. I paid out for bobbins at the rear axle and then contacted Wunderlich who told me that the stand I had been sold was not for my bike model and should never have been sold to me. I asked about getting hooks for the stand so i could still use it with the bobbins I had fitted. The price for these including postage was over two thirds of the price of the stand.
As Wunderlich (who were really helpful by the way) said I should never have been sold the stand I contacted Nippy Normans via email with screenshots of my order form them and my correspondence with Wunderlich regarding the part which might be a solution. After a number of days I chased up the email as there had been no response. NN said they would ring me and asked for my number. I sent my number and a man rang me. To say he had a really bad attitude was an understatement. He was really off and was focussing on the fact that I had bought the stand some time ago. I told him that I had only now realised it wasn’t the right stand and had been sold it in error and regardless of the time passing they had sold me something which did not fit my bike and was dangerous to use. He was quite rude and never once said sorry about the error or advised what would be done to help. I told him I was really shocked by his manner and response and begrudgingly he then said I could return it or he would look into getting the part I needed to try and solve it.
I wasn’t on a crusade to get anything other than assistance with a solution so I didn’t waste my money on a mistake which was not mine but can only describe NN as defensive and rude and obviously don’t care about customer service. I’ve decide to cut my losses as don’t want to deal with NN even to get a begrudging return issued. I wish I’d read Trust Pilot before using them and will never use them again.
Payment Made w/ Order Confirmation Email Received But No Response From Them

Poor customer service.
I've been a customer of Nippy Norman's since getting my first BMW motorcycle in January 2025. I've spent a small fortune in those few months and haven't had a problem until my last order. I suppose it's when things go wrong when you find out how good a company is. In this case, not very well! With my pre-booked bike MOT appointment fast approaching, I discovered that my front brake pads were very worn. Fearing that it may fail, I tried to get a set locally but as it was a Bank Holiday Monday, everywhere was shut and no stock at my favoured retailers. So, I went online and ordered a set from Nippy Normans and paid an extra £7.99 for next day delivery before the cutoff time of 11.30am. There was nothing on the website regarding postal arrangements for the bank holiday, so I thought I'd take a chance and see if they would arrive on the Tuesday. Of course, they didn't, but I WAS expecting them to be delivered by the Wednesday if the order had been processed after the bank holiday. Well, they didn't arrive on Wednesday either and DPD was showing that they still hadn't received my order. I sent an email to Nippy Norman's to ask what was going on but they didn't even have the courtesy of giving me a reply. My order did eventually arrive on Thursday, that's three days after I'd paid for next day delivery, so effectively I'd paid an extra £7.99 for a service that I didn't get. No explanation and no refund either. I could have got the same items from Sportbikeshop at the same price but with free delivery and they would probably have arrived sooner. Sorry, but there's no excuse for poor customer support. I'll be buying my stuff elsewhere in future.

Not so nippy
I purchased a brake bleed kit from them in 2023 & used it once. I went to use it again this week & it had seized & no longer held a vacuum.
I've sent Nippy Normans 3 emails asking if they can replace or repair but they have not responded.
They have my £103 so it seems they consider their involvement over.
Why did I not purchase from Sportsbikeshop? Their service is always superb.

Optiglanz - Rubbish damaged my exhaust
My partner bought some of thier exhaust downpipe cleaner for me..it's made my downpipes go black. Utter rubbish stuff called Optiglanz..they used to sell a good one that was pink and worked really well. This new.stuff seems nasty and is £16 for 250ml the other one dr downpipes was 500ml for the same price..con artists

Ordered 2x Desert fox aux tanks and mesh seat over a month ago, never received anything. The package was never received by the courier and the AWB number is still in that status, not received.
Nippy Normans info nor sales never replied to any of my requests what is the status of my order. Also never got any replies about reimbursement so I had to escalate the case to Visa to get my money back.
Do not order anything from this scammer.
