Very good experience, serious agency with a great knowledge of the place and the profession
Excellent rental company in Nice, very knowledgable about the local market and available any time to get the job done. Highly recommended!!
I really appreciated the service of Nice renting. The appartment is well managed and I always have all the information about the bookings.
Excellent experience from start to finish. Very professional, responsive and efficient team. Everything is handled smoothly including communication with guests, check ins, cleaning and overall management. Since working with them, my rental performance has clearly improved. Highly reliable and highly recommended.

Beware of Scams – Stay Away from This Apartment and This Host
To provide you with a detailed structure, I’ve broken down the review into key points to give you a clearer overview of why you should absolutely not rent this apartment.
1. Apartment
- The photos have been edited with Photoshop; the apartment no longer looks like this.
- It’s dark and very run-down.
- Dirty doors.
- Bathroom with broken tiles on the floor – dangerous for small children.
- Crooked picture frames that are nearly falling apart.
- Severely worn-out furniture.
- Particularly disgusting: old towels that start to smell as soon as they get wet.
- Pillows are completely sweat-soaked; in our case, the covers hadn’t been changed and smelled awful.
- The air conditioning in the living room doesn’t work, as mentioned in several negative reviews.
- The bedroom light doesn’t work and hasn’t been fixed.
These are just the surface-level observations of the apartment.
2. Host
- Alexander, estimated to be in his mid-twenties, has built an Airbnb business with multiple units that he lists on all major platforms.
- Entirely profit-driven, not hospitable. In fifteen years of using Airbnb, I’ve never experienced anything like this.
- We repeatedly and politely asked if it would be possible to arrange a high chair for our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter so we could feed her. This was repeatedly denied with the excuse that there was no space for a high chair. Based on my experience, this is a lie – over the years, and especially in the last two years, we’ve always been provided with a high chair on Airbnb. These high chairs, as I suggested, cost about twenty euros at IKEA, are easy to disassemble, and can be stored compactly. But this doesn’t fit into Alexander’s business model.
- In the living room, we found a “Gourmet Box,” a box of snacks that could be purchased for 35 euros to get a few treats.
- In fifteen years of using Airbnb, I’ve always encountered private and professional hosts who were at least hospitable enough to provide a bottle of water or other basic amenities. This is not the case with Alexander.
- Communication is disastrous. He is unreachable. The provided phone numbers lead to a French voicemail that is incomprehensible.
- As noted in other negative reviews, he doesn’t care about his guests or the condition of his properties.
- As a business owner myself, I perceive him as highly process-oriented and profit-driven, aiming to extract the maximum for himself. This approach is unsustainable and leads to negative reviews.
- Any positive review you find exists only because he has resorted to bribery, offering guests a 100-euro voucher for a future booking in exchange for a five-star rating.
Dear Alexander, if you were to put your guests at the center of your actions, ensure they receive everything they need, and make sure your accommodations are child-safe and child-friendly, you would naturally earn five-star reviews. This is not the case with you, which is why you’re receiving a one-star review from us. If you continue operating this way, your business will not succeed in the long term.
To all guests who have read this far: Please avoid this host and these accommodations. The reality does not match what is portrayed. They are absolutely overpriced and in a deplorable condition.
I wish I could give zero stars. I booked an apartment through Booking.com and encountered serious safety issues, which I reported immediately. After 24 hours of no response from the property, I contacted Booking.com directly. They agreed to cancel the booking and confirmed a full refund, which briefly appeared in my account—only to be reversed without explanation. The property claimed we stayed for the entire stay which is completely false and I have proof of booking alternative accommodation on the next day. The property never got back to us despite so many messages asking them to fix the issues.
As we could not stay at the unsafe property, we had to book a last-minute hotel, which cost significantly more.
This entire experience has been stressful, misleading, and completely unprofessional. This property has failed to provide even the basic standards of customer service or accountability. Avoid at all costs.
MY BOOKING WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID - THEY OFFERED ME AN 18 MONTH VOUCHER
REQUESTED REFUND (WITHIN 12 MONTHS) - THEY SAID VOUCHER HAD RUN OUT
I CONTESTED THIS AND THEY THEN STATED MY CARD HAD BEEN DECLINED - I PROVIDED PROOF OF PAYMENT
NOW THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO ACCUSE ME OF RE-BOOKING, USING MY VOUCHER, AND BEING A NO SHOW!!!! - AN ABSOLUTE OUT AND OUT LIE
ALL THE WHILE THEY STILL OWE ME 424.65 EUROS
WHY ALSO IS BOOKING.COM STILL PROMOTING THIS SITE WHEN THEIR 'GENIUS LEVEL 2' CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE THIS
