great way to scam and charge you

locked and returned the bike.

bike ride terminated and bike read returned.

charged the next day 35 euros for not locking the bike although i did lock it!

but the response of Antonis Nicolaides via email was that his colleague found the bike unlocked.

unfortunately i cant do anything to prove i did lock the bike can i!

i would be very concerned if i was the local authorities and any future user in CYPRUS as this company charges people when and how they want since their system of proofing is at fault (convenient) otherwise the bike would and should not allow the user to end ride and read return if not locked properly!

how many time has Nextbike Cyprus done this i wonder, great way to make profit!

SCAM alert

NEVER use this bs service if you don't want to get scammed. Wasted 50 EUR for a 10 min ride with them.
First of all you sign up for their app, they charge you 10 eur from PayPal but this doesn't activate your account. Then you try to do the same again and they charge you another 10 eur, but only after you attach a credit card somehow your account gets activated. Ok, so 30 eur wasted.
Then you're trying to unlock the bike but since the lock isn't intuitive (and as a customer who has been using nextbike in Germany for many occasions, I don't think I'm dumb enough to not understand how the lock works) you can't open it. You contact the support 5 times asking to cancel the transaction with no reply. Then they charge you for 35 eur for leaving the bike unlocked - how could I leave it unlocked if I don't even know how this lock works - to their excuse they have a Youtube video on how to unlock the bike - but as an user I expect and have all the right to get all this info either as a sticker on the bike or in the app!!! And texting them trying to get at least some customer support doesn't work either as they'll keep telling you that you either left the bike outside parking station ( which we didn't as we didn't even use the bike) or that you opened a PayPal case and thus you can't be refunded and your account is locked.

Even 1 star is too much for such a service
