I ordered a dress from NYD and before…
I ordered a dress from NYD and before it was to be shipped I wanted a different dress. They quickly changed my order for me. When the dress arrived, the color was substantially off. I didn’t know this because I was working out of town. When I did get home two months had passed. The dress return policy was 10 days. I was initially really disappointed. I wrote the company and sent pictures. They allowed me to return the dress and gave me full credit to order something else.
I did and I love the dress that came. It is extremely beautiful and has the most intricate beading on it.
It was a wonderful experience, not because everything was perfect, but everything I wanted or needed, they accommodated.
Next time I need that really special dress, this is where I will shop.

Almost ruined my prom
The people were very hard to work with. I got the wrong dress twice and when I tried to fix it I was treated as if I had made the error when I was the only one trying to fix it.

I really have liked shopping at NYD.com…but their exchange/return policy does not leave room for mistakes
I really have liked shopping at NYD.com in the past. I am a returning customer but will hesitate to shop with NYD in the future due to their very restrictive return policy! The dresses are beautiful and very high end but I will not take the risk again not being able to return in the future. They made an exception for me this one time where they exchanged one dress for a smaller size and took the other one back with a 15% restocking fee. These were not special order dresses but very expensive. My mistake but I won't be making it again. With that being said the professionals in customer service were courteous and understanding!

sizing is off…
The dress was good but the sizing is off. This was described as a floor length gown but thats if you are 5’3 wearing flats 😩 I am 5’5 wearing 3 inch heels and it was more like midi length on me. I am also a true 6 but this was extremely tight at the waist. To top it off I cant return it, very disappointed.

It has been difficult finding quality and beautiful plus size evening gowns. New York Dress offer a multitude of dresses to chose from. Customer service was personable and assisted me with making the perfect dress selection. I recommended the website to a co-worker this week. She ordered 2 dresses for upcoming events.
