NYDress has always been one of my go to online retailers for formal dresses and I’ve never had a problem. They always deliver, my dresses arrive on time with no problem, however my last purchase from them was not quite what I wanted. I bought two dresses and one was perfect however the 2nd dress I ordered was black and gold but they sent me an ivory and gold dress (wrong color), I don’t know what happened there. I wonder if they were out of the black and gold in my size and just figured I might like the ivory and gold. I am disappointed because the black and gold was striking but I’ve decided to keep the ivory and gold because I just can’t be bothered to deal with the whole return process.

Can't return dress if on sale. Also they charge for shipping to get the dress then when you return it they charge you again for shipping. The only thing you can do is get a store credit or exchange for another dress. The dresses are so long that you have to be really tall to wear so it's a waste of time. Oh yeah , they only give you 7 days.

I found the dress I wanted to purchase on sale. Placed it in my cart and went to get my wallet. By the time I returned to the computer, the price was changed to regular price. I've contacted the customer service, and was told they can't honor the sales price even after I sent them the screen shot of this dress being discounted. I was told that the price is changed by the designers and they have no control over it. It is very uncommon that the price was adjusted during the day, and the customer service representative was not able to help me. Very dissatisfying experience.

The dress I ordered come in destroyed box and does not match the description on the website. The dress is too long and it is not possible to adjust it, the material is not of high quality, not is the color.
I have several dresses from the same manufacturer and size M fits me on all dresses, except this one. The opening on the thigh is simply too deep and irreparable. This dress does not look like the dress of this brand on the label, I say I have their dresses and they fit me perfectly and did not need to be altered. Return is to hard , but I have to returned because I cannot wear clothes that are not to my size , quality and do not fit me. I don't recommend shopping with this store !

What a nightmare! Despite living in Canada, I ordered a dress for my daughter's prom from New York Dress. Initially, the color didn't match the picture, so I requested a return, which was handled promptly, resulting in a store credit. However, when we tried to use the credit for another dress, the desired size and color were out of stock. After receiving a notification that the dress was available again, I promptly placed an order, only to be informed days later that it was unavailable, resulting in another store credit. I requested a refund my intention being to buy it on another website.The customer service representative I spoke with was unpleasant and unprofessional, insisting it was store policy. Despite my insistence that their confirmation email implied availability, it took multiple calls and exchanges for them to agree to escalate the issue to a manager. Meanwhile, the dress became available again on their website , so I ordered it once more. To my dismay, it arrived stained and wrinkled, far from brand new. Despite sending pictures as requested, there was no follow-up until I called again. The representative offered a refund or the option to repurchase the dress, but there were no apologies or attempts to compensate for the inconvenience, including the extra shipping and customs costs incurred due to their mistakes. It's not just about the additional expenses; it's about losing trust in New York Dress to provide the perfect dress for my daughter, who has worked hard as an excellent student. Now, I have to disappoint her by telling her she won't have the dress she envisioned. And I get to enccured all the extra cost of shipping and customs for nothing. So frustrated

Happy with the experience so far. I bought few dresses and will definitely buy again.

I recently bought a dress and it arrived in no time to Australia , was so happy with the colour , the fabric was very elegant , the only thing is that the size was slightly larger than expected , I have requested an exchange and hoping to receive the smaller size quickly so I can wear the dress for the wedding in 10 days !!

I love this company. I have ordered 5 dresses from them and all of them are a hit. I would recommend to always order one size up - I found sometimes they fit small, but if I size up I can always get it tailored (and have done so in the past). Saves a lot of time!

I bought 2 different dresses to try on for prom. The fabric of one was so itchy. So I planned to return but discovered that RETURNS ARE NOT POSSIBLE. Had I known I wouldn't have ordered. I wont be ordering from this store again.
