Our old hot water system became kaput, and we were in need of a new system. After speaking with Ben, I received expert advice on which way I should go, as I was weighing between a Stiebel Eltron and a Sanden. Amazingly, I had the job booked in for the next day.

When his installers arrived to decommission the old system and install the new one, they were efficient: after removing the old one, they laid new crush-rock and set up new slabs, and made sure that the new unit would cover the old holes from the old system––all without me mentioning a word!

I am currently enjoying a new and efficient system, and am forever thankful.

From the outset everything ran smoothly. Ben turned up as agreed to check the site and quoted on the spot for a Sanden heat pump to replace my 27+ y.o. elec water heater.
The trades arrived as organised to install, and were very pleasant, competent and communicative. They took all rubbish and the old unit away.
Ben returned after installation to set the operation times to work with my solar panels.
I don't know why I waited so long! My power consumptive has reduced immediately from up to 45 kwh/day to around 15/17 and I cannot hear a thing from inside as it is so quiet.
I am so very happy with the service and the result.

The NewGen team installed a Sanden 315 litre heat pump hot water system at the beginning of 2020 for us, replacing a 15 year old gas hot water system as part of a major renovation.

I was really happy with Ben, Cheryl and the NewGen team, however, I wanted to wait to experience the system before leaving a review. I can report we are really happy having lived with the system now for 5 months.

We are a family of 6 and we wake up every day to plentiful hot water. The system is near a bedroom and it is whisper quiet which was a concern I had with other units.

Ben and the team are highly experienced, always communicate really clearly and quickly and co-ordinated their work really well with our builder and our heating contractor.

We are now looking at getting a solar system and we have no hesitation in going back to NewGen for advice and a competitive quote.

Had a heat pump installed May 2020. Ben came out to quote and two weeks later on the arranged day, the heat pump was installed without issue. Quality if the work is great, and the heatpump is performing above expections from both an energy efficiency and hot water generation perspective. Ben also came out during the install to check on things. I'm an engineer working in HVAC, and recommend heat pump units for clients, and would have no issue recommending Newgen. Highly recommended!

We had a Sanden heat pump hot water system installed by NewGen Solar & Heat Pumps last week. We were very happy with the information and knowledge provided before, during and after the installation. The work was done in one day with minimal disruption and the installation work looks like it has been done professionally. The tradesmen cleaned up after themselves.

We purchased from Ben because his quotes were not only competitive but were also clear and transparent in all details. Ben was also extremely knowledgeable and was able to confirm the two Sanden units we purchased were correct for our use. We now have an abundance of hot water at the lowest possible cost. Ben also assisted us in solving an installation issue that a third party plumber created. Ben’ skills and knowledge ensure the issue was solved at no cost to us and extremely quickly.
