Ordered a Roger’s drum wall clock for a mates 50th birthday, placed order late afternoon and was delivered mid morning next day, was super impressed with the speed that it was processed by Darren & Co at drum shop. Unfortunately the clock had already been opened and the hands fitted which were bent and had marked the skin a bit when put back in box. I rang Darren and he immediately said not to worry but send the old clock back and would check the last one he had in stock and would send out the new one as soon as the old one was back. Problem was I was going down to Cornwall for the birthday a few days later and needed to be sure that the new one arrived on time. In the end Darren generously said to keep the faulty clock and he sent the replacement in time with only a day to spare! I gave both clocks to my friend so he has got spares for the other and he was over the moon with it. I am so grateful to Darren for his generosity and fantastic customer support, he went over and above to help sort the situation and made a 50 year old drummers day! Cheers Darren and Co I will be highly recommending you in future.

I ordered a custom NATAL maple,"originals "shell pack in May last year (2023) it was delivered yesterday 17th January 2024
Whilst it took a long time to reach me.......it is well worth the wait!!!!!

During the time it took for NATAL to build and ship the drums Darren at Newcastle Drum Shop was totally professional throughout. He was helpful at all times and kept me posted with the progress all the way.
There was quite a delay but that was NOT down to Darren and his staff.
Their service is first class and i will definitely use them again for my drum consumables etc.

I would highly recommend Newcastle Drum Shop for their great service and attention to getting things done.

I ordered LP congas from the shop just after Christmas. They were out of stock so Andy offered a full refund or he would let me know when they would be back in stock. The shop kept me fully informed and as soon as they arrived I received them by next day delivery. Excellent percussion at a great price and superb comms. I shall definitely be back!

First class service- the manager Ben was helpful and informative re the Drum Kit I purchased for my son. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt the service was personal. I had many conversations with Ben until a final choice was made.Thank you.

I ordered a limited edition Natal 65 kit in Blue Oyster along with a snare drum. I chased the order a few days later (after a weekend) to find that it hadn't been shipped. I was assured that they would ship for next day delivery, Snare arrived OK but nothing else. Checked the parcel tracker and the kit still hadn't been collected. I contacted them again and they were full of apologies and said they would upgrade the heads as a good will gesture. The heads they offered were the heads advertised on the kit. They said that those heads on that kit were not the standard. I didn't buy the standard I bought the Limited edition at extra cost! The kit arrived next day and guess what. Badly packaged tom mount missing, floor tom hoop damaged , bass drum scratched, hoop wrap split and chipped and peeling off! I contacted them and asked them to collect the whole thing and get a re-fund. They offered a replacement but why would I risk it?
Sent it back got my money back and consider myself lucky not to have come off worse.
Probably the worst on-line shopping experience I've ever had.

Placed an order for a ludwig pocket kit via website as shown as in-stock/available.
Received an email day later saying don't have stock but could recommend an alternative. Spoke with Ben on the phone and was promised call back once stock availability was checked. 4 days later no call. Call up to speak to Ben, he is "unavailable" but Phil would get him to call back asap. 2 days later no call. Call up again to speak to Ben. Not in. Phil promised to follow up stock query and call back within hour. 2 further days no one called again. Have taken money but offered no service, no expected delivery date and no alternative.

Always good service from these guys!

I found Newcastle Drum online whilst looking for a starter kit for my Husband's Birthday.
I found their website very easy to use, the kit arrived promptly and was exactly as described.

I have been to the newcastle drum centre 8 times and every time I go the service is great! They always seem to have good offers on and every time I've been in, the thing I want is always in stock whether its a drum kit or a pair of sticks! I recommned this centre greatly.
