Caravans with damp only!
Be very wary of purchasing a used caravan from this business, we have been stung massively. We purchased a 2016 Compass Corona in September during a seasonal sale promotion. The caravan was up for sale on different selling sites for different prices and we agreed to purchase at the lowest advertised price. The actual process of purchasing and collecting the caravan was smooth-sailing, no complaints for customer service at that point. Over the following 6 months, we realised the layout of this caravan wasn’t right for us and decided we wanted to part-ex for a different layout. We part-ex’d the caravan at a different dealership who after a full inspection, told us the caravan was fit for nothing but the scrapyard - and had been in this condition for well over a year. The caravan still had its original tyres which were over 10 years old, and severely cracked and dangerous. The caravan also had a poorly fixed crack on one of the back panels which had been letting in a huge amount of water ingress which had led to readings of up to 80% damp by the time we came to part with it. The new dealership advised the caravan was likely too dangerous to be towed again and the damp problem would cost more to fix than a van of that age was a worth. In the end, we accepted the scrap value and parted with it, knowing New 2 You had sold us the vehicle in this condition in the first place, that a fix from them would be unlikely. We did however call the following day to advise them of what had happened to be greeted with total avoidance of any responsibility for the condition the van was sold in and to be told ‘they only sell caravans with damp’. So, if you’re looking for a used caravan that is guaranteed some level of damp, you’ve come to the right place. As novices, we put our trust in what felt like a reliable family run business who would help us on our caravan journey as a young family. Really, we were just sold faulty goods and put in a dangerous position using the van.

Really good experience
Really good experience. I bought a vintage Motorhome, it was exactly as expected, if not better. The service was friendly and hassle free - no hard sell. Delivery was also arranged and carried out on time. Would buy from here again
Poor customer service and after care
As others have said, the after care is very poor. Once off their site not interested if there is an issue. We found Mike to be rude and attempts to belittle. Customer service for a business is awful. Needs some training. Too many poor reviews. Just a little interest and understanding would go a long way but not very capable at two way discussions. Would not recommend I'm afraid -New2you caravan sales.
Thanks to Mike and his team for all…
Thanks to Mike and his team for all their help and advice in buying our motorhome, everything was as promised and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Fabulous
Cannot express my appreciation for such exceptional service from Mike and Harry at Eardisley and Leo who delivered our new to us caravan at the west Wales coast, Such an easy smooth transaction, no hassle and all handled with such a friendly manner. I have no hesitation in recommending this local company and will certainly recommend to friends and family should they be in search for a caravan! Keep up the good work!
Be very careful with this conman Mike…
Be very careful with this conman Mike baker!!
He is the nicest man when taking deposits but after that when there are issues, and trust me there will be, he is nowhere to be seen.
He sold us a £16000 caravan which his son put electrics in from an older van which later caught fire with my family in.
Please read all reviews before committing your hard earned cash.
Whilst my case went to court all he did was text me pictures of him on Holiday at the beach saying how because of stupid people like us he is a millionaire.
You have been warned
I could not fault Mike in any way
I could not fault Mike in any way. I lost my husband last year and wanted to dispose of the vehicle. He collected it and I live some distance from his site, put it up for sale and sold it. Whereas I didn’t get what I wanted for it I was just happy to let it go.
Such a warm man and nothing is too much trouble, well done and thank you.
Avoid new2you caravans like…
Avoid new2you caravans - car sales like the plague
Basically mislead us & wont pay our deposit back
Uses various simlar company names!
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs! Car is not as advertised with extremely costly faults and bits in the glove box. Extremely nice till you bank transfer deposit then a different story! Didn’t want to speak to the finance company as his company not registered! Asked me to get a bank loan instead! Refuses to give my £500 back, stopped even reading messages! Another customer he was moaning about buying a bmw saying how he didn’t want to deal with his finance company to as doesn’t want to give his details to them! I’m fighting for my deposit back as it’s taken me a long time to save and 2 days before Christmas he’s causing so much upset please avoid
One happy camper
It was simple to deal with Mike. He was helpful, answered all our questions, let us double check the work that had been done to the motorhome by the previous owner. Great service. Thanks
Failed first base trader test
Never traded with these people because ....
I always pop a low maintenance email query to a vendor especially before first trade, as a test case. The expectation is some timely meaningful even encouraging response. They never responded at all, ever, so there we are. The contact email address was not in their web domain so double sus. Thus 1 star as no zero stars.
Had our caravan for two weeks so they…
Had our caravan for two weeks so they could make sure everything was working when we collected it. When we got home we found the toilet was full of shit and piss. Went on holiday only to find out fridge did not work or the cooker, plus the toilet flush did not work and leaked every where. They also claimed to have put a 12mth warranty on it. That was a lie too. When we took it back they did not care, after all they had our money. They did replace the fridge with something alot older than ours. When we complained they said take it or leave it, as that's it. We have been lied to from the start, it seems that others have found out what they are really like to. When we asked for our old fridge back they claim they can't find it, they swore you can not get the parts for it. That was another lie. They sell on ebay and facebook and if you complain they block you. They are with out doubt the biggest bunch of liars and cowboys we .where unlucky enough to come across. Check out their reviews on Google. We are not the only ones too have fallen foul of them.

We brought our 1st caravan from New 2 you and we did this completely online and over the phone.
Both Mike and Leo went well out of their way to help us.
They were up front and honest about what we were purchasing and included multiple videos of the van. They also delivered the van exactly as promised and helped us setup.
Highly recommended.
No negativity around here
Reading the reviews and the negatives out there the only time people would be happy if the buy a brand new caravan at new2you they stock a good range of caravans we had a look at a few and went for the caravan we were liked, yes there are marks that are wear and tear we expect that the caravan was 2018 the delivery from eardisley to the caravan site in Somerset was top class also Leo talked us through everything we needed to know
Kind regards
Joe
Sells junk caravans he finds on eBay full of damp
We went to look at some caravans but were surprised to notice that one of the ones he had on his forecourt was one we had seen advertised on eBay and had viewed ourselves the week earlier. We didn’t buy the caravan off eBay as it was full of damp under the seats but on the sales forecourt at NEW2YOU it mentioned no damp and was £2000 more than we could have bought it for, and we could have got it cheaper as the man would have knocked some off due to the damp problems. If you look at this companies reviews you are advised to steer clear and I can say this also.
Harry is such a brilliant tradesman
Harry is such a brilliant tradesman. His customer service is amazing and he always ensures you look after us. He’s always prompt, polite, happy to help and no task is too small! Always a pleasure to work with him.
Open and honest
A very quick response when I first decided to sell a trusted and loved swift caravan. The arranged inspection and purchase was professionally and thoroughly done with an open and honest appraisal of the work that might need doing. After some negotiation a decent price for both us was agreed and paid immediately.
Highly Recommended
I've just sold a caravan to New2you and have been most impressed with their professional and honest approach. The van was in storage in Somerset, close to their new branch and having given an over the phone quote, they then inspected it and the deal done with no further negotiation with immediate payment. Very easy and a fair deal for both us and them. I'd definitely recommend them.
Be careful
Bought a caravan from New2you in Aug 2024 Paid £14,500 Had a problem with flies trapped between skylight window and a faulty blind - they were not covered in the warranty - thought he was going to help repair them but ended up not doing so
In Feb 2025 due to my husband ill health with terminal illness we were unable to use and needed to sell the caravan so asked if New2you would buy back - felt that i could not sell in privately due to the issues with flies . Mike offered to buy at trade price of £10,600 ( nearly £4000 less than we had paid 5 mths earlier) I sold it back to him Almost immediately I see it is up for sale on his website for £14,995 !! if you zoom in on photos the flies are still in the window and I suspect the blind is still faulty Make sure you check any caravan thoroughly
